About the author

Teresa Hawk lives in a "classified" location somewhere in the Nevada desert where she weaves an endless parade of colorful characters into macabre tales that keep readers up all night. Timeless reruns of Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock Presents served as her black and white babysitter. Her earliest literary influences include Stephen King and Edgar Allan Poe. At age twelve, she wrote her first supernatural horror story on wide-ruled notebook paper with a No. 2 pencil. As it circulated, she found the horrified reactions of teachers combined with the squealing delight of her peers to be powerfully addicting.

She has been writing ever since.

Over the course of her career, she has been a technical writer, published academic, and copy editor. Now, building on those literary skills, she injects her dark humor and twisted imagination of the weird, surreal, and grotesque into gritty, character-driven horror. Prepare to have your perception altered, and hold on, because it’s going to be a wild ride into the darkness!
