I truly appreciate the author’s empathetic tone—there’s no fearmongering, no overwhelming list of symptoms that are “bound to happen.” Instead, the message is calming and grounded: symptoms may vary and not everyone will experience the same things in the same way.

The book offers practical, realistic tips for managing both physical and emotional changes. I also loved the clear, cohesive design and illustrations that match the book’s thoughtful tone.

What stayed with me the most is the soothing final message—a powerful reminder for any aging woman’s mindset: this isn’t the end, it’s a new beginning. Change is healthy, necessary, and we are still worthy of love and appreciation.

An incredibly important form of support for women going through this stage of life.

a good primer for men

This is a good primer for men with women who are close to menopause.

Most men have heard of menopause, but don’t truly understand it, the phases, the symptoms, and how life changes afterwards.

This is a good overview for anyone with a mother, wife, sister, etc that’s going through menopause, or is approaching it.
