Like any little girl, I’d grown up believing in prince charming and happily ever after. After all, my parent’s story is probably more epic than any fairytale in existence. Thing is, this little girl? Well… she grew up and learned very quickly that all of that nonsense is nothing but a fucking joke.
Love heals, but love also hurts. God knows I’ve been hurt more times than I ever care to admit. It’s what makes me the way I am. By all counts, I shouldn’t be this way. I have two parents who have been in love since they were fifteen years old. I’d pretty well given up on the idea, settling for one-night stands instead. It is a lot easier than giving your heart to someone who will never return it in the end.
And then, it happened. Nikolas Thorne happened, that is. He’d walked into my life and knocked me on my ass. I knew without a shadow of a doubt he was the only one for me, but I also know you can’t make someone love you. And just as I’d predicted, he’d left me…alone and gutted.

ARC received for honest review.
I've been a fan of Mia Michelle since I signed up for the blog tour of Rose of Thorne and anyone who has read that knows what I'm saying when I say that Sebastian Thorne is one delicious man who will go to any lengths for the love of his life. Becoming addicted to this series made me want more and more and with this Novella we get to hear things from Kylie and Niks POV.
Kylie and Nik are instantly drawn to each other on a night out to celebrate Kylie's birthday and become inseparable, but something happens which sees harsh words spoken by Nik - At this point I was nearly messaging the author :)
There are misunderstandings, but we see the love that these two have for the other and I so can not wait for Lucas' story.
I love this series and this book did not disappoint.

Nik & Kylie’s story was very enlightening as to how their relationship evolved that wasn’t discussed in detail in the first three books (Sebastian and Skylar’s stories). You learn why Kylie and Nikolas are the way they are and why they are afraid to love. Although this is a very “back and forth” battle they go through, it was nice to read more about them.

Tug of Emotions
I was looking forward to reading Nik and Kylie's story. Mia Michelle did not disappoint. You feel the struggle they are both going through as they try to deny the love they feel for each other. They cannot seem to admit to one another or themselves the true feelings they have for each other. I found the the clashes and banter between the two of them very entertaining. After their fights, they always ended up having sexy hot makeup sex. There was never an issue in that department.
I have invested myself into this series and I look forward to learning more about all the new characters to emerge in the upcoming books.

Amazing! I loved being able to read the story from Kylie and Nik's perspective. It gives you more insight into what was going on with them while everything was going on with Skylar and Sebastian. I can't wait for Lucas' story. What happened with Lucas at the end of book 3 was devastating, and I hope he finally finds love and is happy. Love your books so much!!! <3

A-maz-ing!! Kylie and Nik’s story was just begging to be told in full! I literally read this book in a day!! I loved it so much! This book was hot, hot, hot!! Reading the behind the scene happenings of Nik and Kylie’s story as it overlaps into Sebastian & Sky’s story was phenomenal!! Another job well done Mia Michelle!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I am a huge fan of the Rose of Thorne series. Not only do I get to see more of my favorite cousin and BFF in Wilted...I get more Sebastian! And let's be honest...I am full on 100% #TeamSebastian.
Now on to the real story.
When Mia asked if I wanted to read Wilted my first reaction was
I mean seriously, was that even a real question!?!? As I'm reading the story of Kylie and Nik I can't help but feel like something bad is bound to happen (I have previously read all of the Rose of Thorne books, I know what to expect)!
And when Kylie is giving Nik a hard time and he doesn't put up with it my first reaction was
We may think we know Kylie and Nik's story, but we don't know the half of it. And though we know the ending, it's the getting there that the story shows. And their path is never easy, but worth every second of the read.
Now on to the real story.

I received this book for an honest review
Although Wilted can be read as an standalone it's best to read after the Rose of Thorne series because you can better understanding of the characters in this book. It doesn't center around the man characters of ROT but around the supporting characters who held a big part in that series. I really enjoyed finally getting to find out about Nikolas and Kylie because they were the characters that I wanted to know what happened with them. They were the characters that you love to hate but you also hate to love but their back and forth was the best ever.Reading this made me fall more in love with them and I was grateful that I got to take that journey with them.

I have been a fan of Mia's Rose of Thorne series since the beginning. The angst and drama these characters all went through, was as heartbreaking as it was heartwarming to see them get their HEAs.
Wilted is a companion novella, and it fills in the blanks of Nikolas and Kylie's tumultuous relationship. The hurt, and heartache they put each other through, was enough to make a grown man cry; but, their love for each other was so strong that it survived. Nik and Kylie's story is definitely about putting one's pride aside, and going after the one thing that your heart wants; love.

This novella is 3.5 in the Rose of Thorne series. It is written from the POV of Kylie and Nik. IMO It adds to the previous books and has allowed me to breathe a little easier after the horrific cliffhanger in the last book.
I like the way the author has used her 'spoilers' quite obviously leaving loads for the reader to find out in the next book. In fact I am even more looking forward to it so I can fill in the gaps.
Mia Michelle writes beautifully and knows how to pull her readers in to the story. Another excellently crafted book.

I love love love a book that makes me happy and this book did just that!!
I love reading about background characters in their own book and this book fulfilled that!! I want a book about Sophie MIA!!!!
I love how neither would back down but was so unhappy that it was a car crash waiting to happen every time they saw each other!!!

I loved reading this novella. It is a lovely story which will get you feeling all sorts of emotions.
It's Nik and Kylie's story and it's far from smooth. You can see just how much they love each other though.
This is one of my favourite series and this novella is just the cherry on the cake for me.

Mis has done it again!! Wilted is an amazing novella! You learn all about Kylie and Nikolas and how their relationship develops. Such a hot couple!!!! LOVE THEM!!!! ROT is one of the best series I have read in a long time. I could not put this novella down and I did not want it to end!! AWESOME AWESOME!!!!

September 24, 2014Mia Michelle has done it again, this book had me from the first word. I love the whole series, Mia's characters are brilliant, the hot men you just want them to jump out of the books lol. Kylie and Nikolas's story is amazing couldn't put it down, I finished it in one sitting.
