Past hurts and betrayal have been set aside. Forgiveness has open the door to a second chance at love for Drake and Alyssa Peterson. Their bond of matrimony is made stronger with the birth of their son, Drayden. But, when Alyssa takes the first look into her son's eyes, she knows that Drake is not the father.
Weston Kingsly lost the better part of him when his wife, Denise, died of breast cancer. He is left to pour his heart into his beautiful twin daughters. Until sponky and fiery Bernadette Terry shows him that love can be found in the most uncommon places.
Will they be able to hold on to a second chance at love?
Theresa Hodge is an Alabama native - loving mother, sister, aunt and friend. She is at her best when she is able to bring happiness to others. This author loves to read almost as much as she loves to write fictional stories. She finds writing therapeutic at times, especially during the loss of her oldest sister from breast cancer, which birthed her "Ask Me Again" Series. This was her first but this compilation led to her writing several other books. These book's includes her bestselling Noelle's Rock series among many others.
Additionally, Theresa has a love affair with poetry. She began writing poetry at an early age and it served as a catalyst for her growth as a writer.
If Theresa can bring a smile to your face and encourage someone else along her journey, she considers it a blessing beyond measure.
David again got on my nerves, but at the end he did the most honorable thing and for that I applaud him. That damn Autumn needs to kick rocks with sandals on. Drake and Alyssa worked together through the ups and downs of a marriage by putting GOD first and letting him take the reins. I was happy to see Weston was able to move on after his wife passed and with none other then Bernadette.
it was okay... there were a lot of unanswered questions and I still don't trust David. it was okay thats all I have. the relationship between Bernadette and Weston happen way too fast and I still didn't really connect with the heroine... 3.5 Stars
Once again this author sends readers on a journey and then some. After the baby arrived the question was still unsaid about paternity. Even though the eye color was the answer. Once more the ending was unexpectedly good.
Poor Alyssa and Drake just went through it. If it wasn't Drake's ex-wife stirring up drama, it was Alyssa's ex-boyfriend. This couple couldn't catch a break. Does David get a happy ending now?
I'm glad that Drake and Alyssa's situation with David worked out for the best. David made the ultimate sacrifice despite altering the condoms trying to trap Alyssa. I'm glad that Weston and Bernadette got together as well as expanding their family.
