Every few years I like to change the Bible translation that I am using during my devotional time. So I was excited to have the chance to check out this notetaking Bible. I only have the New Testament version, but there are four other volumes to have the complete Bible.

First off, the covers are very sturdy, as is the ring binding. I love that it lays flat. This Bible, like many others, is a bit too heavy for me to hold up to read, but because of the sturdy covers and ring binding, I am able to easily prop it up against a stack of books on my desk so that I can easily read it.

The volume begins with an introduction to the Christian Standard Bible, along with key abbreviations used in this translation. There is also a page that gives tips on how to read the New Testament and the various sections, which includes Gospels, Church History, Pauline Epistles, General Epistles, and Apocalyptic.

Each book of the Bible contains an introduction that gives cultural and geographical information that helps readers see how the book fits into the Bible overall. There is an outline for each book, along with a key verse and graphic. A reading log is also included where readers can note the date that each book of the Bible was studied. Each book also begins with a timeline, a little background, a message and purpose for the book, and a section that gives thanks for key points in that book of the Bible. Some books contain a map while others have key characteristics or timelines for that particular book.

While I do wish the font was a bit larger than 10-point, which may be a bit small for some readers, I do appreciate the generous spacing and ample lines on each page for journaling. One thing to note is that there could perhaps be some ghosting depending upon what writing instrument is used to take notes. There are also some blank pages at the end of the Bible where one could take additional notes or perhaps include their own illustrations.

Overall, this is a lovely Bible. It would definitely be too cumbersome to have it all as one large Bible, and the publishers have done a wonderful job of breaking this down into more manageable sections.

I have a job where I help people with shopping for Bible’s and it is such a blessing! Hearing people’s God-stories and excitement about learning the Word! So I also love it, when I get to share a Bible review with my readers! It truly is the best thing to spend your time in! Plus, I promise you will want to read through this, as there is a give-away at the end!

When I first started seeing these spiral Bibles come out, I really didn’t get it. Over time I see the benefit of it. Now it isn’t something you would probably carry to church with you, at least I wouldn’t, but definitely something to use to help you study the Word. I am sure someone else may use it differently, so I look forward to hearing how others are using these spiral Bibles.

For several year’s I have read the Bible in a year plan. However, the last couple years, I have started alternating between reading the New or the Old Testament each year. This year I am reading the Old Testament with one of my Bibles and a notebook.

Next year, I plan to use this new She Reads Spiral- Bound Notetakeing Bible to read through. I will be able to write the Scripture(s) that jumped out to me, short prayers, while also plenty of room to take notes and make highlights, underlining, and connecting words together, in one place! They are affordable enough that I can buy a new one each year to use and start fresh in, and then later on compare from year to year what I learned and see how God is working.

The She Reads Truth Spiral-Bound Notetaking Bible experience is designed with special attention to the details to make opening your Bible every day even more enjoyable:

Christian Standard Bible/CSB version
10 point font size
Regular standard paper
Hard cover and back, helps keep it together and not flimsy
Spiral-bound CSB, like you’ve never seen before – this is a heavy duty metal spiral and lays flat open
Beautifully illustrated key verses
Wide margins for journaling, notes & prayers
Daily reading logs for accountability
Five volumes, perfect for portability
Built-in community with other women through She Reads Truth
Additional study helps like timelines, maps, charts & book introductions

I was looking forward to checking out the new She Reads Truth Spiral-Bound Notetaking Bible, but I didn't realize until it showed up at my house how exciting it was going to be to review it! I mean, I knew it was larger, but didn't realize how large it was, but I'm not sad about it! I'm more thrilled!

If you're anything like me, you enjoy taking notes in your Bible. Whether it's when the pastor is preaching on a Sunday, during my quiet time, or when I'm doing my Bible study, you'll find me pen in hand. One of the issues I usually have though is not enough room to write my thoughts or points about the Scripture I've read. Thankfully, this Bible has plenty of space!

Speaking of space, it's not just that there's enough space in the margins with the lines, but the text is spaced well enough that you can highlight, underline, and make small notes within the Scripture. The font size is also perfectly sized.

When B&H Publishing mentions that the CSB® She Reads Truth Spiral-Bound Notetaking Bible will "make opening your Bible every day more enjoyable," they're not kidding. I've been getting so giddy to open this Bible for my daily devotion. I'm also one of those people who likes reading an overview of the book of the Bible I'm reading.

Of course, there's the beautifully illustrated key verse to start off each book of this Bible. One of the wishes I have for other Bibles is maps for each book where someone is traveling during significant times, and this Bible does that in most of the books. Some books also have timelines, which I also appreciate because oftentimes I'm wondering when this is happening in relation to another event, and I'm clueless! And don't you love it when there's a breakdown of what you'll be reading in a specific book? Books of the Bible are often broken up by different teachings, but because we're reading it as a whole, we might miss what the focus is in each section. I really like the Outline of the books.

If you don't have a reading plan, the Spiral-Bound Notetaking Bible has a daily reading log where you can keep track of when you've read each chapter of each book! I think this will partner well with my first "read the Bible in a year!"

I have seen spiral-bound Bibles before and honestly, I wasn’t sure how I felt about them. I wasn’t convinced they would be practical or something I would actually use long term. That is exactly why I was so excited to try the She Reads Truth Spiral-Bound Notetaking Bible.

First, it is important to know that this is not one full Bible in a single spiral-bound book. The set is divided into five volumes: Pentateuch, Historical Books, Wisdom & Poetry, Prophets, and New Testament. I received the hardcover New Testament volume, and I can already tell I will be going back for the full set.

The quality really stood out to me. The spiral binding is sturdy, and the pages turn easily without feeling fragile. What I love most is how it lays completely flat or folds back on itself, which makes it perfect for church, Bible study, or quiet time. It makes note-taking so much easier and more natural.

The layout is also very thoughtfully done. Everything is easy to read and not crowded, and there is plenty of space for journaling, notes, and prayers. I especially love the reading log at the beginning. It helps you track your time in the Word in a meaningful way rather than just checking a box.

The study helps are another highlight. The maps are clear and easy to understand, which is not always the case in many Bibles. Everything feels designed to help you engage more deeply rather than overwhelm you.

Overall, this is a Bible I can see myself using for years. I love that I can take just the volume I need with me instead of carrying everything at once. It makes daily study feel more approachable and less overwhelming.

A Bible truly made for an immersive study and journaling experience, spiral-bound so it lays flat on the table, with wide margins for notes, with an open layout, comprehensive outlines, full color key verse illustrations, reading logs, with maps and timelines.

It measures 11 1/4 X 10 1/2 X 1 3/8 inches, so it is a heftier Bible and not the easiest to take with you to church, and the edition I have is the only New Testament, while 5 volumes make up the entire Bible. But don't let the size scare you, because this has many features that make it well worth the size. I think my favorite thing is that I can truly lay it completely flat on my table, making it great for making cross references or taking notes. The cover is durable, and the pages are thicker to complement and hold up to the spiral-binding, as well as hold up better to drawings, highlighting, as well as takes the color from colored pencils better. It has complete footnotes, and I liked how the Old Testament references were bolded for easy recognition. There are also empty pages in the back for more notes, or artwork. The 10 point font is easy to read, and the wide margins are perfect for notes.

The introductions to the books include a map on the other side, give context to the book as well as information on the author, and topics touched upon. I really enjoyed using this Bible, and how the designers really went all the way, leaning into making it durable, and accessable for notes, journaling and artwork. A beautiful gift for someone you love or for yourself!

I had never heard of a spiral bound Bible until I discovered this one! It is a bit larger than I had anticipated-it is a very large notebook size. So for me personally, this is not one that I would really want to carry around often. It is perfect for opening on a desk and digging deep into study. Because of the notetaking space you don't need another notepad (unless you REALLY need lots of space). I love the paper, it isn't too thin and it isn't slick so it is perfect for writing on. The font is a good size and the charts and maps are helpful and a great addition. Each book of the Bible has an overview at the start, which I always find helpful. I think with it being spiral bound it has pros and cons. It lays flat and allows you ease in writing. On the flip side, I think it would tear pretty easily if you carried it around many places (without closing it properly) or folded it open in half. Overall I really like this Bible and have been using it at my kitchen table. If you are needing a unique way to take notes and it all be in one place this could be the Bible for you!

Five Stars.

Love this huge, spiral-bound hardback version of the New Testament Bible, in the CSB translation. Its beige hardcover book measures 10.5" x almost 11.5," with a very sturdy metal spiral that connects the pages and hard covers together. The Bible's pages are creamy white and each one has a wide journaling space along with lines for writing. The Bible books all come with an introduction and outline for the book plus a timeline of what was happening in the book and sometimes, in history outside of the book.

The CSB version of the Bible seems to be (to me, a student and reader of the Bible) to be faithful, meaningful, and vivid. Just as 2 Timothy 3:16-17 and Hebrews 4:13 write, this Bible is excellent for teaching, training, conviction. It's also so expressive of God's love for us and the lengths He was willing to go to offer salvation and life to us humans.

This is a fantastic Bible for journalers, students, and those who like to record what they're learning in the Bible. It has provided wonderful Bible study and reading experiences for me.

I received a copy of this Bible from the publisher. All opinions shared here are my own honest ones.

I’m a visual learner, so taking notes is what I do while reading anything, especially God’s Word. This way, reading more likely becomes remembering. Our church preaches expositorily through different books of the Bible, and I love using scripture journals for each series.

To have a New Testament version of the Bible that gives me both the scripture and plenty of room for notes is ideal for me. I’m really excited to include this new She Reads Truth Spiral-Bound Notetaking Bible in my regular study. I only have the New Testament portion, but I could see myself buying the rest of the set at some point!

For me, Bible study and journaling go hand in hand, so having this kind of notetaking Bible welcomes my natural ways and gets me excited about diving into God’s Word.

This Bible is large and would make a fabulous keepsake. It features lined margins to hold all your insights and prayers. It also has daily reading logs for accountability and simple tracking of when you last studied a passage of Scripture. The Bible featured in this post is the New Testament, which comes in one handy volume, but the complete Bible set contains 5 volumes: Pentateuch, Historical Books, Prophecy, Wisdom & Poetry, and New Testament. I love how this is divided up and can see how it would be so beneficial for Bible study.

Im so excited about using this bible. This is the first time I use a spiral bible and it is so convenient to journal. Love all the extra space to write, highlight… and I love that it has all the book introductions, charts, timelines, maps. I also loved the reading log and thought it was super unique how they have a description to the new testament genres.
