Squatch Out!
Broadcasting a Bigfoot mating call while camping in the PNW is a bad idea.
Unless you’re prepared for a massive squatch to come barreling out of the woods with a raging—you can probably guess.
I’m not prepared when he throws me over his shoulder, carries me off to a cave, pleasures himself, and then leaves. Neither is he. Turns out Sean is only a part-time Bigfoot and he can’t seem to stay human around me. Every time he gets close, he squatches out.
The more time I spend with him, the longer he’s able to stay human. His gentle touches turn to heated kisses and then I’m falling for this sweet and funny monster-man. Until a villainous friend catches him on camera, and threatens to expose him. My time in the mountains is almost up but how am I going to keep his secret safe, when it’s time for me to go back to my boring life?

This was such a sweet and oh so spicy little read!
What happens when you try and catch a Bigfoot… but really Bigfoot catches you?!
These two characters are both so entertaining and so much fun to read!
I immediately loved the FMC, she had me in stitches from the start. She has this confidence to her that draws in you, but then she also has this venerability that I think so many of us can relate to. We all want to be strong, but we truly do yearn for someone to love us.
The MMC, comes crashing in...quite literally and his entrance will have you immediately wanting more! He's a got the whole mysterious, reclusive mountain man vibe down packed. He's also a total golden retriever or umm....sasq'et.
These two have this undeniable chemistry....it's raw. It's primal. It's HOT!
This book had me in the edge of my seat from suspense.
And then fanning myself from the spice!
I cannot wait for the next book!
Don't mind me while I go wander the woods while playing a "Bigfoot mating call" on my cell phone!

This was such a fun read!! I generally read really really dark romance, but in between I like to read fun, quirky rom-com type books! This book had me giggling and full out laughing! It was just what I needed!

The meet-cute (more like meet-ugly) of Sean and Olivia did put me off a little bit, but after that it was a great quick read with plenty of spice. Sean and Olivia were cute together if you're into the insta-love trope, which I am. Olivia's friends sucked, but Sean's brother Owen was great - looking forward to picking up his book too.

4.5 stars. This story is dual POV, well written, and a fast-paced, fated mates, sweet and steamy, contemporary fantasy romance featuring a male sasquatch shifter park ranger (Sean) and a female sasquatch chaser looking for another encounter (Olivia). I chuckled at Sean’s struggle to control his shift around Olivia. I enjoyed Olivia’s memory of her first sasquatch encounter. I enjoyed her willingness to accept the reality of Sean and his people, and to maintain secrecy. I enjoyed Sean’s immediate response to Olivia, even if he didn’t understand what it meant. I empathised with his unrealised historical trauma and appreciated Olivia’s understanding. I enjoyed the steamy intimate scenes. I enjoyed the non-romance plot, and adored the support provided by Owen, Sean’s brother, whose story I’m eagerly waiting for.

This Bigfoot rom-com was such a wild and entertaining read! The story is told in dual POV between Olivia—who’s been obsessed with Bigfoot ever since one saved her as a child—and Sean, a park ranger hiding a rare genetic secret. I loved seeing their perspectives play off each other, especially as Olivia’s search for answers led her straight into Sean’s world.
The tropes were playful and fun: fated mates, insta-love, shifter spice, and even a dramatic third-act breakup to keep the tension high. And the steamy scenes? Let’s just say they were every bit as bold and unforgettable as you’d hope in a Bigfoot romance 👀🔥.
Fast-paced, quirky, and delightfully offbeat, Squatch Out! blends laugh-out-loud humor with heart-pounding paranormal romance. Perfect if you’re craving something both spicy and a little bit different.

Olivia has been trying to find Bigfoot her whole life, now she's hanging over a big hairy shoulder. What results is a spicy turn of events. This was a fun read with a little bit of suspense and a lack of communication.

Olivia is so awesome! She’s kind, compassionate and so nice. Even more, I loved her adventurous spirit, open-mindedness, determination and confidence. And if I didn’t like her so much already, she would’ve totally won me over with her awesome taste in fun t-shirts. Olivia is a wonderful woman and I loved her so, so much!
And then, there’s Sean - a park ranger and… a sasq’et. He’s kind, hardworking, gentle, funny, thoughtful and irresistibly charming. And he fiercely protects the people he cares about. Even more, him being able to shift into Bigfoot makes being around him even more interesting. Sean is a truly incredible man and I adored every single thing about him!
I absolutely loved everything that happened between Olivia and Sean! Olivia, together with some friends, goes camping in PNW hoping they’d also get a glimpse of Bigfoot. And, let me tell you, she more than got her wish! Because the moment Sean scents her, he squatches out unexpectedly, storms her camp, throws Olivia over his shoulder and carries her away. I absolutely adored those two together! Their chemistry was fantastic from the very beginning and I loved every moment they spent in each other’s company. Even more, their unconventional first meeting and the fact that Sean unexpectedly squatches out whenever he’s around Olivia, made things between them even more fun and exciting. And the spice… Oh, it’s absolutely SPICING and I couldn’t get enough of all the naughty delight! Olivia and Sean’s journey towards happiness had a few bumps along the way, but those two were absolutely perfect for each other and more than deserved to find love together!
Overall, Squatch Out! is a wildly fun, adventurous and deliciously naughty read and I absolutely loved every single page of it!

I acknowledge that this review is very honest but I think that feedback for the author (who is a very good writer!) is important.
I enjoyed many things about this book. The writing was good, the banter is quite witty and the idea of a squatch shifter is a cool take i haven't come across before. I really liked Sean and Owen as characters and i think the setup for a full series is done well.
I really do think the story has a good basis but (and i have to be completely honest) probably needs a sensitivity lens run over it.
I have rated this book lower as I am not too sure if an American First Nations sensitivity reader was engaged for this book, but that is something that should be considered if the author plans to continue the series.
There were a few things I couldn't quite move past that didnt sit right, and I wouldn't feel completely comfortable recommending this read to others without knowing whether its been read over by someone with lived experience as a First Nations person and without some content warnings, as there is also a theme of male aggression towards a solo woman throughout this book which i dont think adds anything to the story.
I do thank the author for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

I normally read dark and mafia romances so this was exactly the kind of palate cleanser I needed: fast-paced, funny, and delightfully weird in all the best ways.

Now she’s a full-blown Bigfoot hunter, and she heads out on a weekend trip to the Washington wilderness with a group of fellow believers. Things take a turn when one of them plays a Bigfoot mating call—and out of the woods comes Sean, a Park Ranger with a secret. He’s got the Bigfoot gene and involuntarily shifts when Olivia’s around (she’s basically his mate, though it’s never spelled out). Their chemistry is instant, and he ends up whisking her away to a cave for a very awkward, very primal encounter that sets the tone for their bizarre but endearing relationship.

The characters are fun and I enjoy the "older" FMC. Like 29 is old. 🤣 I digress.
Olivia, a firm believer in Bigfoot and the supernatural takes a trip across the country with friends to search for the elusive creature. Her trip doesn’t even start before things start going wrong.
Sean, a forest ranger, knows something is missing, but doesn't want to leave the only home he has ever known.
These two characters come together in the most hilarious meet cute I have ever read.

Olivia and Sean
Olivia always believes on Bigfoot because She remenbers him from when She was a kid but She is not sure it really was One so She tries to find out. Sean is a Ranger but he is also a Bigfoot and he Never trusts anyone because everybody wants to find him. I really liked this book, it's fun, cute and just keeps us very entretained. Great book.

Olivia was in the Olympia Mountains looking for Bigfoot. She's been looking for answers since she was saved by a Bigfoot when a child. Being flung over a furry shoulder wasn't exactly part of her plan. Loved this fun, off the wall, spicy read of finding where you belong. Received a free copy from Deysi.

This was such a fun read with engaging characters. Bringing in some big-foot mystery was definitely entertaining. And Olivia looking to catch bigfoot by making mating calls? Well, I think it's pretty safe she got caught by Sean, instead. Lol! These two were quirky and I giggled, or outright laughed, throughout. Definitely was a rom-com, but it was also insta-love, with adventure and spice. Just so cute and I'm looking forward to the next book :D

This book is easy to read, the writing effortless. The scenery is beautiful, making you feel like you are sitting around the campfire with the rest of the crew. Sean and Olivia are goals, for sure. This was such a fun read and I can not wait for the next one!
