Marie Jem was born in Yerevan, Armenia and migrated to the United States at the age of two. She was raised in Orange County, California and currently resides in Los Angeles, California with her husband and two children. When she is not writing, Marie enjoys reading, yoga, and traveling.

I loved writing this book in the Crashing Waves series! In this installment, I introduce Alex's family and a few new characters I'm sure you will find interesting.

I have to say i was a little disappointed that things didn't turn out the way i wanted. Every time i thought things where starting to look good a wrench was thrown in. Claire the poor girl has been through so much but she should learn not to keep so many secrets from the man she loves. she soon will find out that it will come and bite her in the future. Alex is very jealous maybe a bit to much to lose the woman of his dreams. Can you really blame the man after what Angela put him through.I dislike that Isabella and others are giving Claire such a hard time but jealousy and other approval could rip these two apart. I am happy to see Taryn is not such a Bitch as she seems although she can be a handful at times.I really enjoyed these two books and can't wait to read the next.I would reccomend a Must Read ASAP.Maybe i will see this turn out the way i want to.

Another great book by the author. The story line moved quickly with twists and turns. Remarkable read! Can't wait for book 3! Enjoy!!!

Chasing Tranquility continues the story of Alex and Claire. They are still on a roller coaster ride. Both of them have trust issues. Claire is hiding secrets also but as she would say it is so she won't hurt Alex. Then there is his mother, Isabell,.....she really is evil. She does not want Alex and Claire together. She feels Claire is not in his class and Alex would be better suited to return to his ex-wife, Angela, who cheated on him and is a drug addict. Isabel and Angela play a big part in this story and in the couple's problems.

This book is so good I don't want to say anymore and spoil it for you. Once you pick it up you won't be able to put it down. This book doe not end in a cliff hanger but leaves many unanswered questions. I look forward to the last book in this trilogy. Marie Jem knows how to get your attention and hold onto it.
