Rob Liefeld is an American comic book writer, illustrator, and publisher. A prominent artist in the 1990s, he has since become a controversial figure in the medium.

In the early 1990s, self-taught artist Liefeld became prominent due to his work on Marvel Comics' The New Mutants and later X-Force. In 1992, he and several other popular Marvel illustrators left the company to found Image Comics, which rode the wave of comic books owned by their creators rather than by publishers. The first book published by Image Comics was Rob Liefeld's Youngblood #1.

He is married to actress Joy Creel.

My stand on Rob Liefeld comic books have changed in the intervening years since this book was released. I've come to appreciate the kinetic layouts of his panels and how his action leaped out of the page. Liefeld understood how to plot an action-adventure story.

I have now come see how a wasted opportunity this book was. There was a time when this reader could have gotten a more focused Youngblood-Bloodshot crossover book. Instead, because of how the Image-Valiant crossover Deathmate panned out, things did not come out as planned.

Still, the reader still got one of Liefeld's better illustrated books, and it showcased the strength of his studio which he developed from the ground up. This was one of the better-looking books from that lamented crossover.

Ecco, come tutte le altre parti di questo cross-over tra case editrici, fa veramente pena.
Scritto malissimo, disegnato peggio. Il punto più basso mai toccato dai comics USA negli anni '90.
