Rate this book
Your Life Needs To Change... Whether you know it or not, your life is subpar. I don't say that to point fingers or anything. But it's true. Your life is not nearly as great and happy as it could be. As it should be. Don't believe me? How many days do you come home from work, completely beat and feeling like crap? How many days are you too tired to play with your kids and create memories that are actually worth something? How often do you feel like you're just wasting your time, and not accomplishing anything worthwhile? If you're like most people the answer to all of those questions too often. But I'm Here To Help You Make The Changes You Need! You see, I used to be exactly where you are now. Each day seemed like a dreary, worthless...nightmare. I was never happy, didn't exercise anymore, barely got anything done, and was a complete wreck. But then one day everything changed... See, one day I discovered something that completely changed everything, and allowed me to do things I had never thought possible before. With one simple technique I was able Double and sometimes TRIPLE productivity. Relieve the mountain of stress on my shoulders. Pack on some much needed muscle. Feel great 24/7. Sharpen my talents. (And learn new ones.) And much, MUCH more. And the best part? MY NEWFOUND TECHNIQUE ONLY TOOK 7 MINUTES! How is this possible, you ask? Introducing... The 7 Minute Superhuman Method If your life is lacking, (which, to be blunt, it undoubtedly is) then the 7 Minute Superhuman technique could be the ONE thing you're looking for to turn your world right side up. The 7 Minute method incorporates the use of snazzy little 7 minute routines that help motivate you, prepare you, inspire you, and destine you for success! That may seem over-simplistic -- but that's the point! Most self-help books and courses teach you how to use long elaborate techniques and programs to supposedly change your life. The problem? They're too complex, so you get bummed out and quit. And never make any lasting improvements in your life. 7 Minute Superhuman will change that. While simple enough that a child could use them, the techniques in this book will change your life dramatically and help you break out of the "dreardom" that is your current lifestyle. If you want to break away from unhappiness and become FREE -- NOW is your chance! This book contains the simple and easy to implement techniques and methods that you need to change your life. All you have to do is buy the book, read through it one time, apply what you learn, and then reap the rewards for years to come. Seriously.

This was a fun read, written in a chatty style. It may or may not promise more than it will give.

In a nutshell he's saying that you will become superhuman if you can formulate an achievable self improvement goal and concrete steps that will help you achieve it in seven minutes per day, and if it's fun and motivating enough that you will actually choose to spend that time every day and do it. If your goal is to become more fit I'm sure seven minutes of strenuous exercise every day will help if you did none before. If your goal is to become more calm seven minutes of meditation will be useful. Set measurable goals, write your plan down and work it into your daily schedule the same time every day if possible. Make yourself accountable by telling others about your decision and ask them to help you commit to your routine by following up on your success or working out with you if they have similar goals. Reward and punish yourself as applicable. Start with one simple routine and upgrade or expand gradually if it works, do not try to achieve everything at once. Then it's just a matter of sticking with it if it works. If it's not working and you don't see the results you want maybe it's time to try something else. Don't let life get in the way of taking action to do what you want to achieve. Try to figure out what the most important tasks are and do them first thing every day.

Nothing in here was new advice but it might be motivating nevertheless.
I think the hardest part would be making it fun. I'm already doing things that I think are fun. If I'm not doing push-ups it's probably because I don't enjoy doing push-ups.

Anyway, in short: just do it.
This book was free via Freebooksy but at the end of the book he's selling stuff. It seems the author is quite young.

Finally, a productivity book that works

I like this book a lot. Following the processes in the book to create a routine, I am now meditating every morning, first thing. More routines are to come, but that is an awesome start.

An easy read that you can breeze through. I enjoyed the friendly, conversational tone, and I even liked the smiley-faces in the text. Nice tidbits: write it down, 7 minutes isn't too long to do anything, do your hardest tasks first, etc. A good reminder.

7 minute read

The meat and potatoes are in the first few chapters. After that it's repetition, just like routine. The information is good, and true stuff. The dumbed down grammar is really hard to swallow. Even if he is making airplane noises while you're taking a bite. Truth is, I had a hard time finishing the book. Push through after you start. It's worth the gems you'll find.
