This book was a great resource for me on my recent trip to Iceland. Lots of tips on things to see. We self-drove our entire trip and it was handy to have a quick resource to where we could eat (we're vegetarian), how much we should expect to pay, what the recommended stops were. It was cute that they included a map of downtown but wasn't actually necessary since Reykjavik (downtown) is fairly easy to navigate. We also bought the Lonely Planet Iceland book, which had a ton of detail. This is a condensed version that was my go-to on the trip (I used the the bigger book to get more in-depth on Iceland itself; history, etc.).

Another perfect travel guide from lonely planet, superbly written and concise yet just detailed enough with tantalising suggestions and the right amount of information to ensure that my trip in December will be both fruitful and enjoyable as I follow the advice therein. The addition of the handy pocket map and size of this guidebook makes it essential reading for any traveller considering Reykjavik as their destination.

handy little book with useful phrases, the top high lights for my too short visit, and bits of history and geology scattered throughout to make it a good read
