Note: A copy of this arc was given to me through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Awesome! I have yet another beautiful prayer resource to add to my collection. In this devotional the author has given the reader prayers that are written with scripture(scripture is listed); not only does God love when parents pray for their children, but He also loves when his Word is prayed back to him. There is something so wonderful about parents praying for their children and then being able to see some changes in those child(ren) as God answers prayers.

This 90 day devotional allows a mom or dad to pray for their son or daughter individually. The days of prayer alternate between son and daughter but can be adapted to a parent's needs. I will be using this devotional for my 2 adult children as well as for my 2 grandsons. I also especially love that the author has devoted an entire week to the 23rd Psalm.

It is truly a beautiful devotional and one that every parent should own. Prayer is powerful!

90 days of prayers, categorized into 13 themes by weeks. The prayers are collection of verses from the bible which are about the theme for the week and focus for the day and appropriate for both boys and girls. It is worth several re-reads to truly grasp the heart of the prayer.

This is a great resource for praying scripture over your children. It’s the kind of book you will want to use often to give your prayer time focus that is centered on scripture. I enjoy its simple personalized prayer style and that it has prayers separated by general topic.

Prayers for Your Children: 90 Days of Heartfelt Prayers for Children of Any Age by James Banks invites us to commit ourselves to 90 days of heartfelt prayer for our children, as long as we are alive.
It relates to verses from the Bible, especially the Psalms, from both the Old and the New Testament, spread over every day of 13 weeks or 90 days. The book affirms that as parents, the best gift we can give to our children is the gift of prayer. No matter what their age, we can pray for them.
Each section begins with a brief reflection which introduces the week’s theme. The themes are pointers to live the Christian faith more meaningfully and include Knowing, Growing, Walking, Loving, Protected, Faithful, Fruitful, Thankful, Humble, Pure, Hopeful, Overcoming and Blessed.
The prayers are properly cross referenced to the appropriate chapter and verse, and related with examples and anecdotes. The prayers don’t end with Amen, encouraging parents to add their own prayers at the close of each day’s reading. Also, it emphasizes that we can never pray too much and that the full worth of our prayers will be made evident only in Heaven.
As I prayed on, and I prayed for the 90 days as the book asked us to, I felt myself drawn into the book, pulling my nephews into the ambit of prayer, besides my own daughter and son. I prayed for the children by name and felt a deep sense of comfort knowing that I was committing my little ones to the care of Our Lord.
I recommend this book to Christian parents, grandparents and aunts and uncles.

I really loved this book and I am sure that I will reread it at times when I need the prayers and inspirations. The quotation marks all over the place were distracting to me. I know that they are there to quote God's words and am unsure how it could have been done differently.
