Hart's Ridge #12

Every Little Thing

Rate this book
A fairytale wedding in Mexico.
Everything is supposed to be perfect.
What could possibly go wrong?

When Taylor Gray and her family travel to Cabo San Lucas to celebrate a beachside wedding, it’s supposed to be a time of joy and reconnection. But the morning after the celebration, the bride is missing—and the only clues are discarded champagne glasses at the edge of a private plunge pool, and a trail gone cold in the sweltering sun.

Back home, Taylor’s sister Lucy is on her own journey—wandering the country on what she calls her "lost highway," trying to outrun the memories that haunt her and the voices she can't seem to silence. But the further she runs, the more the road seems to lead her right back to the very things she's trying to forget.

As Taylor works with local authorities and unravels a tangled web of secrets in paradise, Lucy begins to confront her past—and consider whether the path to healing might not be about escape, but finally facing the truth.

From the author of Hart’s Ridge comes a gripping twelfth installment that blends suspense, family, and heart in a story that proves every little thing matters—especially when everything is on the line.

This book had me on the edge of my seat and unable to put it down with its dramatic and heart-pounding scenes. What was supposed to be a great getaway at a romantic resort turns into a crime scene when one of the wedding party vanishes. Taylor and Sam jump into action together and it was great to see them working in tandem to find the truth and try to save the missing person. This book has a dual storyline with Lucy front and center, wandering and trying to work out the problems in her life, not the least of which is her paranoia. I was drawn to both the wedding story and Lucy’s but since Lucy is a favorite character, I really rushed to get to the end of her story, wishing without much hope for her to have a happy ending. Of course, the characterization was compelling and the plot was quick and captivating. This is the twelfth book in the series and I am sure it can be enjoyed as a standalone but to really understand all the drama and the interplay between the characters, I highly recommend that you read these books in order.

Wow, two super storylines! I always love storylines that have Taylor at the center, but this time, I have to say that Lucy’s storyline was my favorite. Without giving too much away, Lucy travels far and wide both physically and emotionally. She also returns to old friends and enemies. You’ll have to read for yourself to find out if things get resolved or she still has a way to go! Taylor’s storyline is based on real events. Scary times in Mexico. There’s also a surprise at the end that demands more books. Good news!

Every Little Thing is the 12th book in Kay Bratt’s Hart’s Ridge series. I’ve read and enjoyed them all but this book I thought was exceptionally good as it has not 1 but 2 main storylines that kept me glued to my kindle. I know a book is good when I can finish reading it in less than 2 days! The first storyline centers around a wedding in Cabo and it’s filled with danger which had me feeling nervous and on the edge of my seat. Thank goodness Taylor was there to use her knowledge and skills to assist in rescuing and bringing justice to those involved. The second storyline centers around Lucy, the youngest sister, and it’s almost like a flash back to what her life was like in an earlier book. She gets to go back and have a redo almost by righting some wrongs that will end up bringing peace and harmony along with safety to her and those she loves. The thing I enjoyed most about this book was the way it ended. Taylor’s announcement about her future plans with Sam I found rather shocking. It was so unexpected and I’m excited to see how this will all play out in the future. But it was Lucy’s storyline that I thought really took center stage. Kay Bratt really knows how to shock and surprise her readers. Learning about Lucy and where her life is heading brought so much joy and happiness to me as a reader and I’m excited to see where this series goes from here.

Kay Bratt has hit another home run! I love that each book in the Hart's Ridge series has its own - standalone - mystery storyline involving Taylor, while also focusing in depth on another member of her family. In addition, each book moves forward in the overall story of the lives of Taylor and her ever-more-extended family. In crafting the details of the books, Bratt draws from a wealth of personal experiences, as well as research and current events. I loved reading the next part of Lucy's journey, seeing her come to terms with who she is and the life she wants to lead. Is Lucy's last scene in "Every Little Thing" a hint about a possible Hart's Ridge spinoff??? I am always excited for Kay Bratt's new books, and would welcome an additional series that she authors. At the same time, I'm excited to see how Taylor and Sam's new venture moves the series forward, and love the ever-growing extended family. Taylor, her family, and Hart's Ridge offer needed refuge for both humans and dogs...who will be the focus of the installment of this fabulous series? I can't wait to find out!

What could be better than a book with a Kay Bratt story? Only a book that at least seems to give you two stories by Kay Bratt! This book had a story that followed Taylor and her husband to a destination wedding, where her skills in investigation are put to use when the bride disappears on her wedding night. The other storyline follows Lucy as she returns to the dangers of her previous life to put it to bed once and for all.

Bratt doesn't disappoint with this twelfth book in the series. It's rich in family, mystery, love, taking care of others, and learning how to be true to yourself. Her plots are crisp and intriguing, making her books hard to put down.

Thanks to the author for the gifted copy. All thoughts are my own.

I’ve enjoyed the Hart’s Ridge series but this was my least favorite. Really two stories in one but they were easy to follow and keep up with. I personally found the story in Cabo unbelievable.

If you love small towns and beautiful mountain settings, you are in for a treat! Every Little Thing, is the twelfth book in the Hart’s Ridge mystery series, set in the fictional town by the same name nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This latest book has two separate storylines running simultaneously. The first is a family wedding in Cabo at a high-end resort, the second follows Lucy as she struggles to find herself while running from her past. Like the eleven preceding books, Every Little Thing is also loosely based on a real-life crime!

Although each book in the Hart’s Ridge series can be read as a standalone, for me I loved reading them in order following along as Kay Bratt builds on her characters and their world. The Hart’s Ridge series follows Taylor Gray (the only female Sheriff’s Deputy in Hart’s Ridge), her husband Sam and stepdaughter Alice, as well as her dysfunctional family consisting of her father, 3 sisters, and her (no longer estranged) mother, Cate and her new husband Ellis. And, if you know Kay Bratt there are always dogs, (which I love) to make you smile.

Every Little Thing starts out with a family wedding in Cabo, Mexico, where Ellis’s daughter Madison and her fiancé Brady are getting married. Taylor is struggling being away from her home and her infant daughter but trying her best to enjoy a mini vacation with her husband. Thankfully for all involved, Taylor is there when the unthinkable happens, and she and her husband Sam are pulled into a life-or-death race against time to save members of the wedding party (not saying who, don’t want to spoil the story).

The second story line follows Lucy (Taylor’s youngest sister), who is on the run from the demons within, and possibly the past coming back to haunt her. She left her young son and a successful career behind to try and face the things that torment her. Will Lucy be able to face her past and forge ahead to make a new life and safe place for her young son? Again, you will have to read to find out for yourself!

Since I am not one to ruin the story by retelling it, I will just leave it there. Every Little Thing was an excellent, page turning, fast read for me, I couldn’t put it down! True to form Kay Bratt left us wanting more! I can hardly wait for the next book in the series and have my fingers crossed there will be many more!

The Hart’s Ridge Series by Kay Bratt has been a series that I have been reading since the very first book. I just finished book twelve titled Every Little Thing. Can I just tell you how impressed I am with her writing in this series? Every book gets better and better and that is hard to do since the first book started out with a bang, grabbing my attention and hasn’t let me go.

Every Little Thing took me places I didn’t want to go. I was reluctant to follow along with Lucy. I’m sure glad I did! The book had several twists and turns in her journey and I did not see any of them coming. I am so glad I took the step to follow her. It was awesome!

Lucy is Taylor’s sister who is the main character of the series. It revolves around her family and her hometown. Taylor has worked hard to earn a place as a detective on the police force and has recently been on leave of absence. As usual, I don’t want to tell you a lot about the book or the series because I want you to experience all of the twists and turns and ups and downs for yourself.

I think there is one more book coming in this series and it will be a Christmas story. If you are like me, I love a good Christmas story especially when a family I’ve come to know and love is involved. This book also hinted at another series to come so now is the time to finish this one up or grab that first book and start binge reading!

If you love crime stories, romance, family drama and small home towns, this book and series is for you. I think it makes for good fun reading and time you are on the edge of your seat waiting for an outcome. I highly recommend you put this series on your night stand and dig in. Until next time…Happy Reading!

Truly Masterful. This is one of those books where the dangers of a foreign country - specifically, Mexico relative to US tourists, in this case - form a major plotline... so be aware of that going in, and depending on your own views you may like it or not. Either way, Bratt works it pretty amazingly to show that there are both good and bad people everywhere, and for the most part, people really just want to live their lives and work for the best for those they love.

In addition to the dangers of Mexico though (which are central to one of the major plotlines of the book), Bratt also does a great job of showing just how beautiful the resort areas in its tourist hotspots can be - which I can also attest to as well.

And then there is the plotline following the youngest of the Hart sisters, back again in a major way and having a more direct link with some of my own activities over the last couple of weeks, as I mentioned in Bratt's Facebook group. So that was pretty cool for me personally, but even more generally Bratt managed to layer this particular plotline into this story very well, despite its only real connection to the Mexico-based plotlines being that it involved a member of the Hart family.

Overall I do think this was one of the stronger tales of this series, really, with all that is done herein and all that is set up to come out of everything. Bratt carefully and beautifully layers all these elements of destination wedding, missing person suspense, travel danger, personal danger, family loyalty, non-preachy political commentary, and so much more... and she manages to do it all while telling a compelling tale in just over 250 pages. As I mentioned in the title, truly masterful.

Start from Book 1, Hart's Ridge, to understand all that is going on here, but for those more adventurous readers, this *can*, technically, be read as a standalone / entry point in series.

Very much recommended.

Every Little Thing is the twelfth book in the Hart’s Ridge series by Kay Bratt. Taylor Gray and her family travel to Cabo San Lucas for the fairytale wedding of Ellis’s daughter, Madison. Everything is perfect in the picturesque beach resort. However, the next morning, the bride and her maid of honor have gone missing, virtually without a trace. With the local police being no help, Taylor and her family investigate on their own. Will they find Madison and her best friend alive? Back in the States, Lucy is on the run. Wandering from state to state, trying to outrun the past, her memories and the voices in her head. However, the further she travels, the more she realizes that she will never know healing and peace if she keeps running and she heads to the one place she never wanted to see again. Will Lucy finally find the peace she has been longing for?
I opened this book with anticipation. The Hart’s Ridge series digs deep in the stories that we only hear about on true crime shows. Each story has a heart-gripping event that will keep readers on the edge of their seats. In Every Little Thing, Taylor and her family find themselves diving deep into the seedy side of paradise and the determination to bring home the missing women. Lucy’s storyline was about confrontation. I knew we hadn’t heard the last of this situation, I don’t want to give it away, but I loved that Lucy is a lot smarter than her family thinks she is and finds a way to put her mind at ease and bring an end to the shadow that has stalked her. If you haven’t read the Hart’s Ridge series, I highly recommend starting with book 1, Hart’s Ridge. If you are a fan of the Hart’s Ridge series, I highly, highly recommend Every Little Thing.

Book 12 already, and this series is a mix of mystery and family drama. The mystery element is based on real crime reports. This is one of the best series of books I've ever read, and I've read many.

The Gray family was finally having a settled period after Taylors illness. The dog rescue and boarding farm were going well, too. However, things lurk in the background and Lucy started to act strangely, despite everyone helping nothing could bring her back so she left her Son and her dog in the care of Taylor and took off, to where, no one knew, not even Lucy.

Lucy was on a mission to find herself, where she had to go she didn't know, but she knew this was her one chance to get things straight. She ended up tracing her steps back to a time she wanted to forget. Can she finally find the person she's supposed to be, and be at peace with herself?

Taylor, Sam, Anna, Cate, and Ellis went to Ellis' daughters wedding in Mexico. It was supposed to be a break and also support for Cate because Ellis' family did not like Cate at all. All was going well except not including Cate or Taylor in planned events until 2 of the wedding party went missing. With no one else to pick up the search, it fell to Taylor to do what she knew best, find the missing people. She had a surprise assistant too!

I was captivated by this story, fast-paced, the chapters alternated between Lucy's story and Taylors'.

The books in this series need to be read in the order in which they were published to preserve continuity of the characters and wider storyline.

I'm starting book 13 now, and that's the last one published until book 14 is released late 2025, and I can't wait for that!

This is another page turner that is about Taylor and one her sisters. I love the way that the author manages to combine dual plots into her stories and keeps them both exciting. I don't know how many more books will be in this series but I'm sure not ready to give up on Taylor and her family.

Taylor and Sam go to Mexico to a destination wedding. Instead of being a fun trip, the bride and her family are rude to Taylor and her family. Despite the rudeness, Taylor and her family try to have a good time until the day after the wedding when they find out that the bride and two of the bridesmaids have disappeared. The Mexican police and hotel management are little to no help so Taylor takes charge of the investigation to try to find the three women before it's too late.

While the search for the missing bride is going on, the book also follows Lucy. She has left home and her small son and is wandering around the country trying to stay hidden from whoever she thinks is following her while trying to outrun her memories of the past and the voices in her head. When she finally comes up with a plan, she ends back where her worst memories started. Will she ever be able to find her way back home to her family?

This entire series has been fantastic. Each book in its own way looks at the importance of family and trust for each other. There is a surprise at the end of this book that indicates that there may be more books ahead in this series.

Every Little Thing (Hart's Ridge Book #12) by best selling author: Kay Bratt is a HOME RUN! One of the best series I've read. When you can write 12 books and each one gets better than the last, you are one good writer!

What I like most about this series is the characters. Taylor is my favorite, following her journey has been so fulfilling. Then there's Taylor's sister Lucy who's also a favorite of mine. What these two have went through together and separately in this series is amazing! Edge of your seat page turning suspense!

This is a series you truly should read from the beginning. They are fast reads, this one is only 264 pages and I guarantee once you start it you will not put it down until the very last chapter!

Short synopsis: When Taylor Gray and her family travel to Cabo San Lucas to celebrate a beachside wedding, it’s supposed to be a time of joy and reconnection.

This is the 12th book in the series and it just keeps getting better. If you want details please read the book cover or a different review but be careful, some have spoilers.
This one is a true "page turner" and impossible to put down once you've started reading. I could not stop reading. The same characters were present but really come alive in some fast paced action. There is a time or two that you might be feeling a panic attack coming as several of them get into some sticky situations. The descriptions of additional characters
are so real, they might match someone you know. As far as the settings, so magically described, you will feel like you are wherever they are. If you thought the other books
in the series were good this one is even better. Epilogue is particularly touching as you can see the family around and feel their loving togetherness. This book was provided to me as as advanced reader copy but I was under no obligation to provide a review. The opinions expressed are my own. Read and enjoy! If you by some chance have not read the entire series, get started, you're in for a treat!

An amazing book! It is one of the best in the Hart's Ridge Series. This book has so much suspense and it certainly takes the reader on an adventure. The story is set in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and dually in the US. The family of Taylor have all travelled over 2000 miles to celebrate a family wedding. Part of the family has stayed in Hart's Ridge. Lucy is having her own story. In Cabo San Lucas Taylor and Sam end up searching for two people gone missing. The mysterious disappearance has everyone searching and trying to find Madison and her friend Gia. Mexico isn't the easiest place to try and find someone that's missing. The storytelling is capturing and there are quite a few twists and turns. Lucy has her own part of mystery that she needs to deal with, her past and find answers. When going down her past in New York, Lucy meets people from before. Margot needs her help as does Amina. When things seem too difficult there is always hope and possibilities when least expected. Courage and new beginnings. This book is oh so good and I can really recommend it, great balance between mystery and adventure with the family in focus!

For people who haven't read the previous books in the series, you might want to read at least a couple to get to know the characters. The same family carries from one book to another. You can certainly read this book on its own, but you will appreciate knowing the characters and their stories that have gotten them to this place.

Taylor, her husband, and some other family members are at a wedding in Cabo. It's a luxury resort and guests are made to feel secure and pampered. But when the bride and her maid of honor go missing, Taylor and others mobilize to try to find them because the resort's security and the local police aren't doing enough.

Meanwhile, those of us who felt that Lucy's story was not yet complete will be happy to be on the road with Lucy again and most of the characters from her book make appearances again.

Both storylines are suspenseful and Kay Bratt does a great job at guiding us through the details of the plots. I've been loving this series and the characters. Those of us who also follow Kay and her life on social media, recognize a number of things from her real life that have worked their way into this book.

I received an ARC of Every Little Thing, Book 12 in the Hart’s Ridge series by Kay Bratt. Taylor and Sam join Anna, Cate and Ellis in Cabo for Ellis’ daughter’s destination wedding. Looking forward to some rest and relaxation during this getaway, it develops into anything but that. In the meantime, we catch up with Lucy, who left the farm and her son Jonny to try and silence the memories and voices in her head. But in traveling around the country, trying to outrun whoever she thinks is following her, she ends up back in New York City, in the place where all her troubles began. Lucy discovers something about herself, taking a deep look inside, and knows what she has to do. In the same vein, Taylor discovers something about Sam and herself, and really begins to see where their future together might be. Kay Bratt takes us on a wild ride through the eyes of Taylor and Lucy, and keeps us on our toes to the very end. Looking forward to Book 13 and the new surprises that will be waiting for us!

Wow! Another stupendous book by Kay Bratt. She starts with Taylor and Sam in Mexico at Madison and Brady’s wedding. Of course there has to be intriguing scenarios. After the wedding, Madison and Gia get kidnapped. Not giving anything away, the girls are found alive but there is still a death.
The second storyline is about Lucy, the youngest Gray sister. She has lost her way but decides she must go back to where all her problems started. Lucy looks up Suki and decides to help ‘steal’ a painting from another Art collector but she comes up with a brilliant plan to get justice for what Suki and her family back in the Ukraine have done to the art world. She also reconciles with Jorge. Lucy decides to go back to Hart’s Ridge and brings along Armina and Margot-both whom she had met in a homeless camp-and of course Jorge.
I can’t wait to see the next book or books in the series since Taylor and Sam are starting Graystone Investigations and Lucy, Jorge and Johnny will be going to Uraguay.

Well, what can I say, except Kay Bratt has done it again, with another brilliant book for the ever-growing Harts Ridge series!
Two storylines work in parallel as we follow Taylor and her husband to Mexico to attend the wedding of her stepfather, Ellis's daughter, and we are hot on the trail of Lucy, Taylor's youngest sister, who has run away, again, leaving her son Johnny with her family.
Though Taylor is supposed to be taking a break from anything crime-related, she ends up slap bang in the middle of a double kidnapping case, which is connected to the wedding they are there to attend.
Meanwhile, Lucy is on the run, and ends up meeting folk, some kind, some unsavoury, and she ends up back in a place she thought she'd never return to.
I won't go into more detail, but the ending was more than satisfying for more than one character whom we, as readers, have come to love, and there is scope for more of these wonderful Harts Ridge stories!

Over the years I have read several books by Kay Bratt and let me just say "each one has been entertaining and the characters become real". I have read all the books in the Hart's Ridge series (1-12), Taylor and Lucy are my favorites. I was intrigued by a destination wedding and this one kept me on the edge of my seat! The wedding had all the family drama, a bridezilla, and unwelcome danger and suspense. Thank goodness Taylor was there to use her unique brand of detective skills. While the reader is completely absorbed in the Cabo story, Lucy has pulled the usual disappearing act. But this time she has a purpose and hoping for an opportunity to put her old life behind her. But of course, danger always follows Lucy! The back-and-forth story lines made this book a definite page turner. Thank you for allowing me to be a VIPixies ARC reader, I'll be posting this in Amazon, Goodreads and BookBub. I can't wait to read book 13

Book 12 in the Hart’s Ridge series. You can take Taylor out of Hart’s Ridge, but you can’t take the job out of Taylor. Taylor and Sam are in Mexico for a family wedding. What was a beautiful day quickly takes a dark, sinister turn.

I have to admit I’m totally vested in this series. Bratt puts so much of her life experiences in each story and this one is no different. Two stories in one…a wedding, beautiful couple, cranky aunt, then the unthinkable happens. A scary situation, ripped from the headlines, definitely made my blood pressure rise and added a twist I didn’t see coming. The other story we finally learn more about Lucy and what she has been dealing with. Another dark, underlying situation. Questions are finally answered. Another twist I didn’t expect but look forward to Ms. Bratt building on it.

Characters you’ll love and ones you’ll love to hate. Situations are most definitely realistic. Both stories came together nicely. I look forward forward to Book 13. This book cannot be read as a stand-alone this far into the series. If you have a vacation planned, download Books 1-12 and enjoy.

I received an ARC copy of this book. This is my honest opinion.

Kay Bratt has done it again! This installment of her Hart's Ridge series blew me away.

We've got two story lines going on here. First, there is the beautiful destination wedding that we become a part of, but you know since Taylor is there there is going to be a crime to solve. So along with all the loveliness of a wedding, we also get the drama and suspense that only Taylor can provide. And then we have Lucy's storyline. Poor Lucy, will anything ever work out in her life? She, and we, take a journey back to her past to try to make things right.

The back and forth kept me enthralled and I devoured this story once I got it into my hands. I love this whole series and am always excited when the author drops a new one. I love all of the installments but this one just might be one of my favorites.

EVERY LITTLE THING is Book 12 in the fantastic Hart’s Ridge series by Kay Bratt. I have loved this whole series and this latest installment is no exception. This book has two exciting storylines, both full of suspense and drama. The first storyline has Taylor Gray and her family traveling to Cabo San Lucas for the fancy destination wedding of Ellis’ daughter and her fiancé. But the morning after the wedding, the bride and one of her bridesmaids have disappeared. With no help from the hotel management or the local police, Taylor jumps into action to investigate what could have happened. Can they find the women before something tragic happens? In the second storyline, we learn what’s been happening with Taylor’s youngest sister, Lucy. Lucy has been on the run, hiding from the memories of disturbing events from her past. She finds herself drawn into her old life and a risky game to right some of her past wrongs. Can Lucy break free of the things that haunt her and make it back to her family and beloved son? The way this book wraps up leaves me anxiously awaiting whatever comes next. I highly recommend this page-turning book and the whole series! Thank you to Kay Bratt for the chance to read and review an early copy of her book.

Taylor and her family are at a destination wedding in paradise. Lucy is on her own little adventure in the States. What could go wrong? Well, everything, of course.

When the bride and her friend go missing after the wedding, Taylor and Sam take things into their own hands when the police don’t want to help. They “meet the locals” in their quest to find the missing women and are taken to areas tourists should never go. It’s an action packed search with a heart-stopping ending.

Meanwhile, Lucy runs into trouble over and over again in her trek around the country to save her little family. But she also gets the last laugh, and some new friends, when all is said and done.

And the ending…the epilogue, the unexpected, when it comes to this little family from Georgia. More adventures to come!

A missing bride and bridesmaid, less than helpful resort and law enforcement personnel, and time running out lead Taylor, Sam, and several family members attending the destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas to solve the disappearances themselves, hopefully in time to save both women.

Back home, Lucy is wandering aimlessly around the country trying to stay ahead of anyone who might be after her. She finally devises a plan to end it all and ensure the safety of herself and her son once and for all. She gets reunited with several former acquaintances that change her life in unexpected ways.

Another great addition to the Hart’s Ridge series. I loved this book!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is Kay Bratt's 12th book in the Hart Ridge Series and she has done another great job. The story starts out with a family wedding in Cabo Mexico. It was a beautiful event. At least until the bride and one of the bridesmaid goes missing. Taylor and Sam work together to try to find them, seeing the Mexico police were dragging their feet and no help. In the other part of the story Lucy is traveling and trying to ignore her paranoia. Lucy is trying to keep Johnny, her son, safe. Lucy is not sure who she can trust and how to end this. This is such a fast moving mystery that you just can't put it down until you find out what happens to all of them. This also leads into more stories for more books. I can't wait to see what will happen next. Thank you Kay for the ARC! Just loved this one!!

This was a fast paced romantic suspense that made me think twice about staying in paradise. The book was exciting and full of surprises and was like two books in one. I liked the strong characters of Taylor and her husband, Sam, who were in Mexico for her step-sister's wedding, which quickly turned into a nightmare when the bride and her best friend went missing. Suddenly paradise didn't seem so great!

I enjoyed learning more about Lucy and how she finally found her way home and it was a long, soul searching journey to get there and showed the love she had for her son. She would do anything to keep him safe, including leaving him with her sister. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

This is book 12 in the Hart's Ridge Series and it is a doozy!
It is an intense, fast moving story that has two story-lines within this family!

Taylor and her family head to Mexico for a wedding and the bride disappears.
Why was I shocked at this when we all know Mexico can be a tough place.
Can Taylor help to solve this horror? Where, how and how come?

Meanwhile- Lucy who is Taylor's younger sister takes off for New York a previous place in her lifetime to hopefully confront some of her demons.
Now what?

I do believe there will be another possible story in this series to come and I can hardly wait to see what is next!
Thank you to @KayBratt for this wonderful ARC and allowing me to read and provide my own review.

One heck of a wild ride!

From a destination wedding with a sinister twist to the streets of New York City, where a homeless community looks after one another, to the slick, sharp-edged art world, this tale is one you'll devour, page after page. Taylor and Sam rescue the bride and a bridesmaid from the seedy, poverty-stricken side of Cabo San Lucas when a stolen passport nearly becomes the end of them. Then it shifts to Lucy, Taylor's troubled sister, who is exacting her own justice on the sharks of the art world in New York City, pitting her knowledge and street smarts against a dangerous woman who is desperate for her father's recognition in the Ukrainian crime world and will stop at nothing to gain her a seat at the table. Buckle up!!!

Every Little Thing is book #12 in the Hart's Ridge series, by Kay Bratt. As with every other book in this series once I got a chance to start reading it, I could not put it down and read in basically one session. Taylor and Sam have traveled to Cabo San Lucas for a wedding. When the bride and one of the bride maids disappear the night of the wedding, the search is on to find them without any help from the local police or the resort where they were staying. Things get intense during the search, and while that is going on a side story is playing out about Lucy and we learn more about her. I would certainly recommend this book to others. I received an ARC from the author and I am leaving my review voluntarily.
