How To For You #13

How to Format Your Book: for Publishing

Rate this book
It was a surprise to me to discover how many steps there are to formatting a book for publication. So many details! One thing is certain, you are so much better off to do it right from the beginning, than to fix it after you have written your book. Good formatting in the beginning will save you so much trouble later. Not only that, your book will have that professional look that is so valuable. Years of experience in writing and editing, and the accumulation of oodles of tips have gone into this manuscript, a "must have" for any budding author.

Useful Information.

If you are trying to self publish your book, read this. As the author Dorothy Mercer points out, by using her techniques you will be able to produce a book that looks professional and is perfectly formatted. This guide is clear, concise, and full of useful information. If you follow the instructions formatting your book for both paper and eBook is easy, even if you aren’t particularly ‘techie’.

Dorothy Mercer has given us a simplistic, easy to understand guide to formatting! I have to admit that I have a mental block against formatting because it all seemed so complex and overwhelming. This book gives you exactly what you need to get the job done and is written so that you totally understand - it's not Greek. A must have for the self-publisher! FIVE STARS!

A great book to have if you intend to self-publish your book for a professional finish. The steps are simple, easy to understand and full of tips you need at your finger tips. I use the formatting tips now as I churn out each new book. There are explanations for so many word buttons that seemed like decorative items to me in the past. A must have for indie authors. I'm so pleased.

I found this very interesting. There's a lot more goes into writing a book, than meets the eye.
