Rate this book
Come with Deszion Nasir as she spins you a tale about a mysterious girl named Sariah...
Born with the the gift of psychokinesis, meaning she has the ability to move and change the form of objects with her mind, Sariah and her mother spend much of her childhood on the run from a hidden foe. Unable to live a normal life, Sariah is constantly being trained for a battle she doesn't understand, but knows is coming...
Enter charismatic Malcolm Jordan, a boy from school. In a rural North Carolina town, a bond is formed and Sariah's fate is altered forever. Desperate to feel normal, she ignores her mother's warnings to stay away from Malcolm and another teagedy life-changing event drives the two lovebirds apart as Sariah flees for her life.
Several years later, the two reunite as the same dark forces from Sariah's childhood threaten her existence again, but on a greater scale. Malcolm has been drug into the picture, and his reunion with Sariah is bittersweet.
It is revealed that Sariah isn't who he thought she was. she isn't even who SHE thought she was. Besides being a psychokinetic, Sariah is also a quintuplet of a destructively powerful telepathic woman named Taya. Taken from their birth mother as they were delivered, they were all separated and hidden to protect them from the madman who had captured and enslaved their mother. At least, that's the story being told.
A quest to reunite Sariah's family begins. Where are her siblings? What happened to her mother? Why are they all being hunted? What is Malcolm hiding? Knowing that Sariah's abilities are strengthened by anger, can she be controlled?
The ability to manipulate electricity, water, emotions, block pain, neutralize other powers, locate and share energies...or simply play around in other people's heads until they want to commit suicide; Sariah is confronted by these things from friends AND foes as she learns to adapt and become the leader she was always trained to be.
But throw in scandals, betrayals, passion, lies and deceptions, and even the most well-thought out plans can go wrong...
Be prepared to be left breathless...

Deszion Amani Nasir was born in raised in Hampton, VA, where she penned her first novel in the 6th grade when her simple ideas were read by others and she was told "Wow.. this is good. You should be a writer."
The lightbulb clicked on and never turned off.
Fast forward to 2012.
Deszion Nasir debuted her first novel, "Untrust," the strange tale of an unusual set of twins with no family, yet more family drama than one'd ever deem possible. Death, chaos and destruction would be their inheritance.
Then a short was released, "Dragonflies & Demons," part one of a short series about a couple stuck in a vicous cycle of domestic violence that blurs the lines between victim and abuser.
After that, the follow-up of "Untrust" entitled "Wicked Blues," dropped in November. Return to the past to see how the curse that hung over the twins' heads began.
She is currently writing her first paranormal/sci-fi novel, "Sariah," which is due to be relased in the Spring. This is a tale of a unique girl with telekenesis and in inability to fully control it or the consequences that come with it. This excitingly eerie novel will come out in the Spring.
Deszion Nasir is currnetly in the works to drop an Anthology with two other authors that will be released in June.
The next installment to her series, Uncommon Devil, will be released in the Fall.
Her writing is edgy, dark and twisted, and she enjoys taking her readers to a place that evokes emotions, be they rage, shock, sadness or happiness, because this tells her that she's attained her goal in reaching into her reader's world and pulling them into her eccentric one.
There is much more to come from her...
Are you mentally strong enough to endure?
