This book was full of practical tips for staying safe and alert; honestly, it's a must-read for women! It included some obvious advice as well as ideas I wouldn’t have thought of. I liked the real-life examples in each chapter. Sometimes the topics shifted suddenly within the chapters, but overall, it was helpful.

I will be buying my girls a copy when they’re older!

I have always had an interest in this topic, having been the safety leader at multiple jobs, taken tons of self defense classes, active shooter training, CPR training, cyber security training, etc. This book was a fantastic refresher, and I would highly recommend everyone give it a read. Like it or not, we have to be extra aware and proactive with safety these days.

This book is an absolute must read for all women (and girls!). It conveys some strong safety messages, including to stop the delusion that nothing bad could happen to you. While we should not live in fear, we must remember to protect ourselves from potential danger. For instance, don't use an ATM late at night. Just because nothing bad never happened before, doesn't mean you should believe it can't. Even in this day and age of strong, independent women, we need to be vigilant. I highly recommend this book.

Even though I am not the specific target demographic for this book, I read it with my three daughters in mind, and I can see the immense value in it. Dannah Eve provides solid, actionable advice on trusting your instincts and staying safe. While the writing can be a bit redundant at times, that repetition actually works well here—it reinforces the logic across different situations to make sure the lessons stick. I’ll definitely be passing this knowledge on.

This book just came out. And since I follow Dannah Eve on Instagram, I decided to read it. Great information! A lot of it is just plain common sense. But she then hits hard on that because we can become so easily distracted and forget, for example, to lock our doors. Excellent tips I hadn't thought about. And a boatload of must haves to keep you safe, like the Birdie.

This is an excellent, quick read that every woman should check out. Even if, like me, you already know many of the safety recommendations she provides, there are still a bunch of great reminders and fresh ideas that could save your life. More than anything, I love the reinforcement to trust your own intuition and to stay aware. Her Instagram account is a fantastic resource as well.
