I initially thought this book was a little over the top as I began reading it. But the delightful banter quickly pulled me in, and I found myself devouring the book.
Olivia Gray is a washed up celebrity suddenly saddled with kids to oversee until they are 18, and she gets a million cash a year to do it. Along the way to personal happiness, she re-begins a singing career and love affair with a celebrity singer, Jonathan. this book reminded me of Less than Zero, from Jami Gertz’s perspective, and then morphed to Nip Tuck with an abortion, and all the adultery that was going on. Nice HEA, and I just loved the songs included in the book.

A select few favorite lines:

She now had the perfect nose, mouth, cheekbones and so on—but all of it compiled on one face resembled a Picasso painting. The effect lent her an intriguing look displayed often on magazine covers. Still, no one aspired to screw her, which perhaps explained why she was such a bitch.

A frown marred his rather handsome face. “I thought you would‟ve known. You seemed like…friends.”
I shook my head. “Friends do not a hand-job make.”
