Making Over Mabel

Rate this book
Mabel has never wanted to be famous. She’s happy to let her clients take the limelight, while she works her magic in the background.

But when her celebrity hungry boyfriend Adrian breaks up with her via the internet, Mabel has a choice to make. She can spend 2015 under her duvet, hiding in the shadows, or step into the spotlight and reclaim her reputation.

With a push and a shove from her sister Xanthe, Mabel is soon wrapped in lycra and knee deep in glitter. The cha-cha-changes are coming thick and fast, and Mabel’s got more than just a soggy salsa to contend with. She’s kissed her sister’s PA, her smouldering Spanish partner is teaching her more than just dance moves, and Mabel’s only gone and bumped into her pompous ex and his new girlfriend.

It’s enough to throw anyone off their twinkle toes!

Mabel is made of marvellous stuff, but is she strong enough to shake off the past and take over her make over?

I am an aspiring author of Women's Fiction. A bit of luscious lusty romance and a touch of whimsy make my stories a must for chick-lit lovers everywhere.
I like to create fun characters who are looking at their lives and thinking;

What now?
What's next? And where is the pudding?

They are looking for a new direction, perhaps a touch of excitement. Sometimes I give them what they need, rather than what they want. They don’t always thank me for it at the time, but in “The End” they are more often than not where they need to be, and I would like to think quite pleased with the paths I have laid before them.
