Morgan: A Witch’s Tale was an interesting read. I felt that it was written as something that I would watch as part of a tv series. Morgan is a very strong leader of her family and coven. Some might say bossy but that isn’t a bad thing as a leader needs to lead. The story jumped right into the life of Morgan and her family along with introducing new people when they were relevant. I wondered on a couple of occasions if there wasn’t a previous book that I should have read.

I did like the story and the unexpected pieces of the characters. Morgan is an awesomely powerful witch that leads her family to combat the demons that want to take over Austin. Morgan commands her cousins Art, Lance, and Gwen to infiltrate the demon’s gang. Art & Lance are young men that seem just laid back and accepting. Gwen is a bit of an emotional mixture, not sure what she wants or who she is. A story focusing on Gwen might be interesting. Along the way, Morgan finds Alex and knows him to be her love. Alex is head over heels for Morgan and doesn’t want to be separated from her or have her in danger.
The timeline seemed a little fast that everything happened in just a couple of weeks with some things happening immediately over a few days. Some things you would expect to take longer just naturally, but we are talking demons and witches so it could happen.

The hardest part of the book for me was the conversations. I couldn’t really pinpoint what didn’t work for me. Maybe it was personal preference, but the conversations seemed stilted and didn’t flow easily. If the conversations had flowed better for me, I would have given this a 4 star rating.

By the end Morgan discovers who she is and more about her family linage while battling the demons and why she’s so powerful. She also finds love with Alex and ends with Alex needing to find about who he is and his family linage. Again, this book is one that I could easily watch as a series on tv. If the other characters get their own books, I’ll be tuning in.

***I did the editing on this book and thus cannot speak of any errors I may have or may not have found***

Morgan follows Morgan LaFit, high Priestess of her family's coven. It weaves a tale that merges magick and myth into one beautifully really.

Common spells are embellished upon in such a way you almost forget that we witches can't really do the things mentioned lol.

There's a sweet love story interwoven in the story as well; and a small twist that I think would make an amazing sequel or prequel to this book.

This book has a twist that will make any fan of Angee's want to beat her with a stick by the end! This twist had my jaw on the floor, seriously.

All in all this book is worth the read and I'm glad I was the one chosen to have first peak at it.

I give this book 5 of 5 paws.

It starts quickly when two men burst into Morgan's shop. One of them wants her help, and one of them wants her dead. Morgan makes a decision and takes action. The events of the evening bring questions than will need to be answered. There was a nice balance of romance, action and mystery to the storyline.
There were a few small errors in the text, like ‘we’ instead of ‘me’ or a missing word. They didn’t detract enough from the storyline that I didn’t understand what the author had meant to say.
The other characters each have a place to contribute to the conflict of the story. If you have enjoyed shows such as Charmed or Buffy, you would probably like reading Morgan. There is an element of family and teamwork, but also of strong women characters. A nice fun read.

This was a really quick read, and I really enjoyed it.

The story starts rather suddenly with two men bursting into a shop - here we meet Morgan, who is a kick ass witch, she is hired by a half demon called Luke to help deal with the overpowering amount of demons in her city and take out the leader Shanx.

Because it started so suddenly I had thought maybe there was a previous book I should have read first.

The storyline goes at a fast pace, and everything happens in a matter of week, it did make it feel kinda rushed, and I wish I was longer as I would have loved to learn more about the characters.

Over all it was a great quick read that sucked me right into the action, and we see Morgan learn more about herself throughout the course of the book.

Would love to read more of Morgan and even a story focusing on Gwen one of her cousins that she enlists to help fight.

This story for me was great as a quick read.

The story is of a 'High Preistess' of a family coven, Morgan. She stands alone in the protection of her town from the Demons. Till she faces the Demon Leader Shax, who wants her dead & to take over her town. But her guide, Maree, knows Shax well & helps Morgan summon the help she needs, to win the battle against the Demons.

Personally, I would have liked more depth to the characters. Just to know more about them, their links to the story were only brushed over.

Really enjoyed this book.Super quick read. Great storyline.
Morgan is so independent and kick ass, I wouldn't want to be a demon standing in her way.
I felt like there wasn't a whole lot of action, and when there was some action, it didn't have me sitting on the edge of my seat.
