Now that Breyden knows his best friend, James, is an android and a highly destructive bomb, he must decide how to help his friend without endangering the lived of so many others plus the future freedoms of their worlds. Trying to figure out what might trigger James to detonate leads to the discovery of another plot to take down the People’s Government, one that could wipe out the rebellion as well.
Breyden will learn the hard way the true meaning of, “Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves.” He and the others’ desire to send their traitors off with a surprise backfires in a way, that could severely cripple their efforts. Nothing is beneath the People’s Governments desire to ruthlessly wipe out any and all resistance to their brutal totalitarian power, they will launch a horrific assault that could result in the death of Breyden and his friends, but not before Breyden will hold one huge piece of leverage over his father that could possibly save his friends.
James Todd Cochrane was born in Fremont, California. He received his BA from Utah State University, where he majored in Business Information Systems with a minor in German.
A writer since elementary school, he published his first novel, Max and the Gatekeeper, in 2007. The sequels, The Hourglass of Souls and The Descendant and the Demon's Fork, followed
He now lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he writes part-time while working as a computer programmer.
His first novel, Max and the Gatekeeper, is on the Accelerated Readers List and was a 2010-2011 Alaska Battle Book.
He recently published his first novella, Centalpha 6 Part I. This will be a running YA Sci/Fi series. Part II is set for release November 2012.
