A cowpoke finds himself framed for murder as soon as he hits town. There's a spitfire for a love interest. An intinerant quick drawing preacher is running around quoting the bible. There's shooting and riding, and palaver. All the stuff needed for a good old fashioned western.

A great western that's more of a mystery in a way but has all of the trappings of a western. Has plenty of double cross and red herrings and it kept me guessing the whole time. The characters are all great from the normal hero rancher who is new in town and was set up as a patsy, a grizzled small time homesteader named Gloomy, a preacher who is really a former bank robber now freed and nosing around after the 40000 in gold that was stolen, and plenty of others. Has a lot of stories and it all fits well.

Highly recommended, a really fun western.
