Exposing perceived fault lines in our banking and financial systems and explaining how unemployment could be cut in half in two years and worldwide prosperity restored, this book argues the existence of exotic energy sources to replace fossil fuels and consequently recommends an immediate end to fracking and offshore drilling for oil. It further urges an immediate worldwide mobilization to replace the energy source in every car, truck, tractor, ship, airplane, and house on Earth in seven years in a desperate effort to save the planet from further overheating. The book blasts government secrecy, and more than 65 years of supposed lies and disinformation, and demands full disclosure of what they know about visitors from other realms and their technology and the extent of their collaboration, including any treaties that may have been signed by them. With more than 65 years of participation in and observation of political and economic systems—beginning with the Great Depression, extending through World War II, the postwar era of hope for a better life, the Cold War, the subjugation of democracy by oligarchy, and the subtle but continuous militarization of America—Paul T. Hellyer analyzes what he believes has gone wrong with the world and its economy and suggests radical measures to introduce a universal culture of peace and cooperation.
Canadian engineer, politician, writer and commentator.
First elected as a Liberal in 1949 federal election in the riding of Davenport, he was the youngest person ever elected to that point in the Canadian House of Commons.
In 1963 he came minister of defence and is mostly known for his unification of the Canadian Army.
In 1997, Hellyer formed the Canadian Action Party (CAP) to provide voters with an economic nationalist option, believing that both the Progressive Conservative and Liberal parties were embracing globalization.
In 2005 he announced that he believed in UFOs and that he saw one in 1967. Since then he has been a leading figure in Canadian ufology.
I started to read this book because of the extraterrestrial information coming from a person who surely can be trusted, but I was surprised on how many details it have about hidden/conspiracy things all over the world that I didn't know about.
Even for readers who thinks both matters (UFO/conspiracies) are stupid, information about real politics, economy and religion are present on the whole book. It's a recommended reading.
Quite interesting... nothing in this book I didn't know, or assume, already... sad, shocking... and I kind of feel defeated after reading. The ideas in this book are great, looking at the world though, with its people, I am not as positive as the author that we will be able to fix things! (unless everyone reads and decides to act)
The Money Mafia is very interesting and makes you realize that indeed "truth is stranger than fiction." If you're concerned about the state of the world today and wondering how we got here, this is a must read. I didn't find it any easy read as the topics were diverse but it was worth it.
Paul Hellyer, now in his 90's was the Canadian Minister of National Defense in the 1960's. He attended school in the U.S. as a child. He's a visionary and well-respected individual who has done excellent research for this book. His reputation allows him to confront difficult and controversial topics with honesty and sensitivity.
The book is a warning and wake up call. It shows how three organizations (Three Sisters) or the Cabal pull the strings and control our governments, world and future. Hellyer addresses a number of topics from the the environment, militarization/defense spending, black budgets, the economy/trade, Third World debt, executive salaries, the new world order/globalism and even UFO's and aliens.
At the end of the book, Hellyer makes suggestions on how he believes we correct a situation that has gotten out of hand.
A " MUST READ" for anyone at all interested in the betterment of humanity.
I could not emphasise enough, the importance this book has for all of us. What an incredible person Paul Hellyer is and how lucky we are to have his input. I cannot think of anything that this book does not cover and make a positive suggestion on. It also gives many pathways for further substantiative investigation. It would be great if he could have a chat with Elon Musk.
Terrible! He's a Keynesian (economic illiterate) who believes government spending and huge increases in minimum wage are proper economic solutions. He believes in extraterrestrial life and technology (not sure what that has to do with this book, but it makes him look - as if a thinking person needed any more reason - like an idiot. He's all-in on global warming - no state measure seems questionable so long as the ostensible goal is to reverse global warming. He's certainly correct about the corruption surrounding the federal reserve system, but then advocates a one-world central bank.
"Rich", unelected "ruthless people"---the power elite---have a plan to rule the world. They’re to be found in the banking and oil cartel, as well in several intelligence agencies.
Since the Roswell lie (first it was a "flying disk" then another narrative emerged: it was a "weather balloon") it's been seven decades of secrecy and lies;
-about to end?
They want to keep the "majority in the dark".
The new world order is a "dictatorship"; an "empire".
A very insightful book written by Canada’s former defense minister. His position is the equivalent of to the United States Secretary of Defense. If former Secretary Donald Rumsfeld or Robert Gates had written a book of this magnitude, there would probably be a world revolution. Mr. Hellyer’s emphasis is mostly on the world’s banking cartel’s and their sinister global operations that keep the separation between rich and poor at an all time high as well as attempt to keep developing countries in debt and slowly erode the middle classes of developed nations. Hellyer also dedicated two chapters on UFO and extraterrestrial disclosure. I am not sure how I feel about the validity of his claims but if there is something out there, the people deserve to know what it is.
Overall, most of the information contained in this book outside of the UFO stuff, I was aware of before reading it. But it was a sigh of fresh air that a man who had a very important high level position was willing to tell it how it really is and expose corruption. I appreciate his input and dedication in attempting to make the world a better place.
This is an interesting read by someone with a good reputation and not some "freak". Paul Hellyer lines up the whole history of banking and links it to extraterrestrial visitations. It definitely makes sense. If you look at Ancient History and the Bible itself there is clear indication that this planet has been visited which means there is no reason why we still aren't being visited. Helper claims different races are visiting and they have different agendas. What he says ties in with the theories of Michael Tellinger, Zechariah Sitchin & Erich Von Danker about money being created as a way of slaving human beings. Whether these alines exist or not, one clear message is that one sure way of gaining freedom is becoming 100% debt free! I recommend this book, an eye opener!
Fairly disturbing reminders. Hard to know how to assimilate the info, much of which has been reported elsewhere. The credibility of the author belies the information he's documenting creating cognitive disonance. Thought provoking in the extreme. "The New World Order is a gigantic hoax. It is not interested in trade. Its plan is centralized ownership and control as a means to facilitate a world government under its control. Its brand of globalization is a greed-driven monster legitimized by academic abstractions far removed from the real world and real people."
A great book to read if you'd like to know more about what's been concealed from the general public, and where we might be heading if we don't change course. Has great suggestions for a more peaceful world, and some great interpretations of world religions that I concur with. Read more books like this people and just maybe we can make this world a better place, and stop the secrecy and the greed.
That the world is going to hell in a hand basket is self-evident... POSTED AT AMAZON 2016 .according to the author. It goes to hell, but not for those being part of Cabal.
Paul Hellyer writes about it with a crushing confidence. Nothing that is nasty escapes his attention. The list of terrible problems and organizations behind them is long. These organizations directly or indirectly are responsible for 2008 Great Recession.
To him, the most important large issue is a climate global warming (or change). And now, directly responsible for this rapid climate changes is Cabal (or never changing, unelected Shadow Government). The Cabal means: 1) people behind international banking and financial schemes; 2) people running oil/industrial cartels like for example Exxon Mobile or deadly Monsanto (re: toxic glyphosates as RoundUp); 3) people behind the so called Military/Security Industrial Complex; and 4) people within MIC who interact with Extraterrestrials. Black Operations drain unscrupulously taxpayers money. These people do not want to disclose that it is possible to obtain almost free energy from vacuum or 'cold fusion'. Hellyer maintains there are two types of government as per President Clinton's remark: "there is a government inside the government and I do not control it".
The first 100 pages are very informative as Hellyer focuses on banking history. Stories about Goldsmith's Scam in 1640 and The Bank of England's Scam in 1690 are very instructive. He writes about the rulers and international banks. The rulers are: The Council of Foreign Relations, The Bilderbergers and The Trilateral Commission. We have a lecture about Bank of International Settlements, IMF and Federal Reserve Bank..all of them working with a full speed since circa 1960, to establish the New World Order globally. This means ultimately- substitution of elite rule for democracy, enslavement for the rest of population. But here is how this diabolic plan has been implemented - the degree to which America (and much of the Western world dissent) has changed is noticed by almost no one as the transformation has taken hold too gradually!!
This part of the book ends with proposals put forward on how to alleviate crisis created by parasitic international private banks. Our Bank of Canada must act now as it had acted prior to 1974, meaning Canada and other countries should opt for debt/inflationary free Government Created Money. Only certain sum would be allowed to be printed as the Bank Created Money. Hellyer proposition is sound to me. It could end existence of evil "fiat credit money" that cannot be paid of. Hellyer apparently is on the same page with economist Michael Hudson and his . Did you know that $16 trillions has been secretly given out to US banks and corporations and foreign banks everywhere from France to Scotland? For the period between the end of 2007 and June 2010, the Federal Reserve had secretly bailed out many of the world's banks, corporations and governments (p.84, source is provided).
Next chapters are about Military Industrial Complex (part of Cabal). MIC is a main force behind so called The Project for a New American Century. Among many things, MIC experiments with 'direct free-energy technology' destroying three WTC buildings in 9/11. Here he endorses Judy Woods' book. MIC looks constantly for a new target where to start wars (Jaremy Scahill's book "Dirty Wars" has been brought to attention). And MIC cooperates with Extraterrestrials (?). At this point we approach mind boggling topic of UFO, where I got confused and skeptical. Hellyer read too many books about it (authors like: Michael Wolf, Steven Greer, Richard Dolan, Jim Sparks), and his views are mostly chaotic and in big part not credible. Basically he believes in "Sirius" 2013 movie that one may watch on You Tube now for free.
But this is not the end of topics one encounters while reading "Money Mafia". We are lectured about Israel-Palestine never ending brutal conflict (interesting thoughts), as well as about idiocy of global deforestation.
In summary: the book is good and delivers load of information. Particularly when Hellyer delivers about malignancies of free trade agreements (FTA, NAFTA, TPP) that pose among other things threat to Internet. He does not miss issue of a large wealth gap between tiny elite of super-rich and the rest of societies, about reorganizing organizations like WTO, UN, and how to make USA Congress fully accountable to all citizens. Paul Hellyer is great when suggesting 'what to do' when it comes to microeconomics, banking and financial affairs. "Money Mafia" is a compendium of bad deeds happening in XXI century. Recommended indeed.
A mixed bag. A book filled with mind blowing truths alongside grade school level propaganda. Your job is to sift through it all. Discernment!
For example, he sees clearly and has done the research on the slavery system that is the Fed, the BIS and Central banking. But then he advocates for a World central bank and Keynesian policies to magically reach full employment through government stimulus. You can tell this guy never held a job in the private sector!
Another example: he clearly sees the enormous fraud which the deep state has perpetrated on humanity by hiding the reality of ET aliens and building a new civilization underground and off world. But then he doesn't consider why aliens are here meddling in our world in the first place. He assumes they are here to help us evolve...lord have mercy!
Another example: he sees through the joke that is the official explanation for 9/11 and yet he swallows the global climate change threat hook, line and sinker. After 20 years of climate propaganda even Bill Gates in 2025 has acknowledged that climate change isn't a real threat.
What is most frustrating about this book is that the author correctly diagnoses humanity's primary problem (central banks creating money from nothing) and then completely dismisses the solution (Bitcoin and its verifiable digital scarcity). "The total dependence on bank-created virtual 'credit' money must end." Yes, and yet he dismisses Bitcoin merely because it is digital and he assumes Bitcoin are created out of nothing, like Central Bank money. Totally wrong!
Hellyer is a big thinker who misses key aspects of reality: 1) Bitcoin is the solution to central banking enslavement; 2) ET aliens aren't here to help us. They're here to help themselves. We must be very careful and not naive as to their intentions.
The best aspect of this book is that he nicely referenced everything which is great because his sources are primary. I will read at least one of his alien ET primary sources myself (The Dulce Book by Branton).
The author who believes government spending and huge increases in minimum wage are proper economic solutions for all economic worries. While heartfelt, simple solutions for complicated problems usually say more about the person than the reality.
This book reminds me of my grandfather when he had alzheimers and the sadness of old age, gradually going from fractional reserve banking to extraterrestrial visitors in the literary version of a sundown. He's enthusiastic all-in on global warming - no state measure seems questionable so long as the ostensible goal is to reverse global warming. Like most effective delusions, it takes an axiom facts (corruption in the federal reserve system) and draws it into a cosmos that ONLY HE can undo with "the truth".
(People don't disbelieve the moon landing because they WANT it to not be true, but from their egoes. Because they want to be the only non-sheeple in the room. This behavior also sees this ilk harass school-shooting survivors.)
He believes in extraterrestrial life and technology (not sure what that has to do with this book, but it makes him look - as if a thinking person needed any more reason - like a regular conspiracy theorist. Paul Hellyer even name-drops drops every so called "important" name in the book that he has lunched, dined, and drank, with to PROVE THEY'RE ALL OUT TO GET YOU, they're hiding aliens etc.
On a minor note, he is certainly correct about the corruption surrounding the federal reserve system, but then advocates a one-world central bank. IE, having all our eggs in one basket. Reread the previous sentence. If you can't identify the problem you are one.
This is the first economics books I've read that belongs in the fantasy realm. Or scribbled in fluids on the walls of an insane asylum. Also, visit your grandparents folks, you may not need them anymore, but they need you.
