This is book 2 and the conclusion of Peri and Bobby's story. We get more answers about why Bobby did not tell Peri who he really is. We meet Peri's father and finally we find Peri's mother.
We will have to read book 4 to find out why her mother stayed away for all those years. I am looking forward to finding out what her reasons were.
I would highly recommend this series.

Not happy right now.
Let me first start by saying, the story is good until the end which just left me hanging. Does Bennett find love, does Peri mother unite with her father and does Peri marry Bobby? I need to know. You just going to leave me hanging like that. That was wrong and just wrong. SMH right now. That is the only reason for my rating. Also I don't think Bobby has resolved his issue with Peri's ex. This is just too much.

Not the right way to end a book
********** WARNING: ENDING SPOILER **********
First and foremost...as crazy as a scenario it was in the first book, I LOVED Peri and Bobby's story. It kept me entertained, had very hot scenes, and who doesn't love a bad ass heroine? I admit, I'm a sucker for GOOD interracial romances and the first book drew me in. I couldn't wait to read the follow up and was all the way in...UNTIL the end. Seriously, what the actual fuck was that? There were way too many story lines opened up and not closed out, INCLUDING the main characters!!! Whoop di do, her mom is alive but you pretty much make it seem like we will never know what happens to the rest of the crew (including the main characters) by telling us to stay tuned for Athena's story! As a writer myself, I give you props for a good, well written story. There weren't many typos, it kept me intrigued and as I said, the love scenes were hot! But that is NO WAY TO END A BOOK. I hope Athena's story gives us some answers but I'm honestly not sure i'd read the follow up.

The series is OK so far. Not sure what all the glowing reviews are for. My biggest issues? Not bothering with the the next one.

This is a good story! Hated the cliffhanger, I do not feel this story is over for Bobby and Peri.
