I currently reside in Arizona with my two sons. I love to read for pleasure and love to do reviews for other Indies authors trying to make it. I am my children’s biggest and loudest fan during their basketball games and try to make as many as I can while fighting a disease that fights my body.

Blue is my favorite color, I can recite the movie Clue word for word, Junior Mints make me happy and I will keep wishing for Blue Bunny to make Cherry Cheesecake a permanent flavor instead of a seasonal treat. I’m scatterbrained, too forgiving, a bit neurotic and always busy.

And will forever be in a power-struggle over the big screen TV with my youngest until he can get a TV of his own.

AfterShock is even better than Quake. Lisa Arrington beefed up this book with info we have been wanting for since book 1. I felt that she filled us in enough to satisfy my need to know, but left enough up for question to keep me coming back for more. In this part of the journey there is more action and danger with some surprise twists you may not have seen coming. AfterShock keeps you wanting more.


Ali and Caden’s story continues. AfterShock takes us into the siblings training and fills us in on what is really going on. We learn why Ali and Caden are so important and what happened surrounding their births. They also come into so cool new powers. We also get to see the duo in action out in the field. Gemma is still a serious problem but she has some revelations of her own. The Human race is being controlled except for a select few. Who will prevail?

I feel this is my best work to date. I was able to go back in time and give the audience the story of Lanie and Darrell as they wished, while still moving the story forward! Will I think this when I finish Magnitude (Quake 3)? Not sure, but I am very proud of myself!
