Cinnamon, Coco, and Honey are three of New York’s finest. Blessed with good looks, nice bodies, a stable place to live with a mother that is willing to give them anything their hearts desire, they seem to have it all. That is until their mother’s nasty habit of popping pills and alcohol abuse leaves them in an awful situation with no one to turn to. When a baller by the name of Vic takes them under his wing he turns them into finessers, sexy women with the motives to set up any man with deep pockets. When Cinnamon falls in love with one of the licks all hell breaks loose. Secrets are revealed, lies are told, and bodies are found as Vic try his hardest to turn the sisters against one another. Join these sisters on a hectic journey and discover is blood really thicker than water.
I really enjoyed reading this book. The writing was absolutely wonderful and it kept me engaged. What can I say about the characters? 🤔 Some I loved and some I hated. Let’s start with the hate list first. I immediately starting hating the girl’s mother as she was being introduced but then later on I felt a little sorry for her. From the beginning I knew I was going to hate Vic and by the ending I knew why. In this book, Vic is “The Bad Guy” and of course Honey falls for him because he has all of the good qualities of “The Bad Guy”. The way he strings those girls along is sickening but hey, what’s a good read without a character that you hate? Rob is the in between bad and good right now. He does a very bad thing but then he starts to feel bad for the role he played in the down spiral of these girl’s lives. Vanessa is just hurt and well... hurt people, hurt people but she puts a plan in place and right now it appears as though it’s going to wreck everyone’s lives. Honey is the oldest and it’s her connection to Vic that puts everything in motion. She starts to wise up close to the end, I’m not too sure about her decision making skills though. Coco, the middle sister and “slut” of the group, I have no words for this treacherous beast she betrays those close to her. Last but not least Cinnamon the baby, virgin, and purest heart of the group. She also happens to be really good at finessing and that becomes a problem when she falls in love with her mark. I really hope these people get it together, but hey I’m here for all the drama if they don’t! 🤣😂
On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being absolute trash and 10 being good as good can be:
Total Book Experience 10/10 Plot/Storyline 10/10 Writing (Errors) 9/10 Characters 10/10
Wow! I really like the story & the sister’s bond. I’m disappointed Honey went out sad like that. She is her mother’s child. Omg! I would have passed out if that was my dad in that room. Obviously we knew CoCo was overly friendly in in the sex department, but the sisters seemed too close for her to do what she did. And then there’s Cinnamon smh. She’s was supposed to be smarter, than to fall for the lick.
This was an amazing read and those sisters was something else. Vic was a sheep in wolf clothing and Rob was just his puppet. I felt so sorry for Honey because he really used her. Cinnamon should have told Chad the truth as soon as she feel in love with him. Coco got what she deserved because she turned on everybody that really loved her.
I hated the way how Coco got killed it should have been Victoria or Vic. I thought she would overcome all of this and be back with her sisters. Vic must have Gold in his sex game because everybody falls for him. It was messed up how Vic plotted on the sisters in the first place starting with their mother Denise. I can’t wait to read this entire series to see how it unfolds. 🔥🔥🔥

I’m not sure if the editor purposely left the book this way or what but the flow of the book was off. This book is definitely not what I’m used to from Lucinda John.
Honey, coco, and cinnamon were some bad sisters. Diane want the best mother but she loved her girls until drugs entered her life. Vic was a sneaky dude an he came in an ruin the girls life by supplier them lies and money. Honey falls for Vic lies but she's in too deep. Coco is a certified hoe. Cinnamon is so green to everything. Vic now finessing the girls sets cinnamon up with Chad but she falls in love and his plans backfired, especially when his wife enters the picture. Ready for part 2.
This story was on point from start to finish. There were a few grammatical errors, but I was able to keep up with the flow of the book. Vic is something else. Manipulation and deception at its best. Coco really showed her behind and I felt so bad for Honey. Everything was falling apart around her. And I loved Cinnamon and Chad together. Hate that they had to meet under those circumstances. That ending was everything! Can't wait until part two!
I liked this story line but I felt that it could have been more elaborated. It seemed to have missing pieces to the story. Like Cinnamon supposedly giving off the illusion to Chad that she was a broke college student but eight months into they're relationship she was spending thousands of dollars on him. I would have given this book 5 stars but the grammatical errors and skipping around prevented that. I would read part 2.
I got this book because I realized this sequel was the introduction to another series.. The story is rushed, and just to unbelievable. No way could 3 high school girls do all this STUFF lol. Very different from her other books, this must have been a early book before she learned how to develop a character. Only reading the next one because I need to learn the background on these sister's for the book I'm really interested in.
I loved this story these girls was a mess and all have there special needs but 1 thing they have in common is they all want to be loved. Now Vic I can't believe him he need to get got. I can't wait to read part 2 cause all I wanna know is what 's going down if you haven't 1-clicked you don't know what you missing
This book was amazing! I enjoyed the plot of the story and the way it flowed. the characters captured my attention quickly. I loved all the secrets and scandalous ways of the characters. I admired the bond the sisters had. I look forward to reading part 2. it's crazy how drugs can change your life and alter you life. Lucinda John I am a fan hunni. I am impatiently waiting for part 2. #PageTurner
1st read by Lucinda John. Fast paced exciting read that has me hooked! These sisters, Honey, Co-Co & Cinnamon were something else! Honey was money hungry, Co-Co was out for self, & Cinnamon--was in way over her head! They were definitely products of Denise! Vic was just evil... Good storyline & characters were what the title implied.
I absolutely hate Vic. He is a master manipulator and no one seems to see this. I feel bad for the sisters because he set them up from day 1. I mean, did they really think that someone would drop that much cash on them and not want anything in return. I hope that they find out what really happened to their mom in book 2.
Awesomeness...whew! To be continued WHEN Lucinda John? Please begin writing the sequel now. I became a big fan after reading "Falling for a Boss" and now a much bigger fan. P.S. Waiting on that sequel too.
this was a nonstop page Turner...excellent story line couldn't put it down I hope part 2 does not take forever.great work one of the best books I read in a long time...well done
Where do I start at FROM the beginning I KNEW one of the SISTERs was going to be a SNAKE.but SNAKE is a understatement for wat I want to call her.DAUGHTER like mother is wat it's looking like and vic is a piece of ****can't wait for him to get wats coming to him
I chooses 5 Stars cause this is definitely a 5 star read oh yea and what I liked is the that I can get book 2&3 right away. I recommend this book to everyone that loves to Read
Honey,Cinnamon Coco! A great book. You don't need anybody to set you up, you can do that yourself! They were getting paid. You see what happens when Love Shows its face!
I absolutely loved this book. It had a few mistakes but other than that it was really good. It held my attention from beginning to end. I can't wait to read part 2.
