Broken Boundaries
Elizabeth Lancaster has changed, but her true being remains in the shadows, waiting to be revealed. Lizzie continues to muddle through life in her human world, but the Night World feels her growing power, and there are those who will do anything to stop her, and obtain that power for themselves.
While Lizzie concentrates on her human life and the new addition to her family, Cain Atchley and others around her become increasingly vigilant in trying to keep Lizzie safe, alive, and out of the clutches of the Seekers from the Night World. Broken Boundaries ( The Three Crowns #3 ) by Sonya Ray
I received this book from the Author in exchange for an honest review.
I have already read the first two books in this series, and this one is by far the best. The world that Lizzie knows is beginning to fall apart, ending with a traitor being revealed. I loved it!!! Sonya Ray has come so very far as an Author and her writing improves with each new book. In this book the characters start to reveal their true natures. This book is gripping, exciting, with a good dash of emotional turmoil and intrigue. There is a huge twist at the end that I did not see coming. Who would have thought that that character was the traitor? All in all, a fantastic read, which I enjoyed immensely. Can’t wait for the next book to come out.

Great book! Great series! I was given a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.
So much happens, not only to Lizzie but to other characters as well! This book is gripping, exciting and emotional! There are some very happy moments and some moments that made me cry. Once I started reading I couldn't stop - stayed awake all night to finish!
I love Cain Atchley!! He is so in love and so devoted to Lizzie that he makes my heart pound. Lizzie still doesn't know exactly what's going on around her but I think she is coming closer to finding out. She goes through quite a bit in this story and there is a lot of excitement and intrigue. I couldn't believe who the traitor was, never would have expected it! What a twist!
I am going crazy waiting to find out what the "plan" is!! I can't wait for the next book in the series!!

Amazing twist and turns in Broken Boundaries. I could not read through each page fast enough to see what was going to happen on the next page and in the next chapter. I really enjoy Sonya Ray's writing abilities. She knows how to keep you absorbed in the story. This story is remarkable and I cannot wait to see what the final ending is. But until then, I am going to enjoy the ride. Do yourself a favor and buy this series. Lizzie and her friends and family will keep you entertained that is for sure. It is a whole new world for Lizzie in book 3, she has grown tremendously in her character and everyone else follows suit. Buy it today.

At the risk of committing the faux pas of rating a book I was paid to edit, I am giving a five-star rating to Broken Boundaries, for two reasons. Bear with me.
First, despite the fact that the book hasn't even been released yet, there is a two-star rating placed on it by someone who hasn't read a single page of it (nor has this person read either of the first two books in the series). Suffice it to say I believe the rating is patently unfair, and am doing what I can to nullify it.
The second reason is, I really liked Broken Boundaries! When Sonya and I first talked about her series, I was quite intrigued by the concept, and once I started reading the stories, I decided that it was something she should share with the world. Sonya has worked as hard as any author I know, not only to bring her story to life, but to dedicate herself to continuing to improve her writing craft. As I told her when returning the edited version of Broken Boundaries, this is the best yet. I see in her edits every lesson I've provided to her over the past two years. She gets it. And not only that, she keeps working at it. We've reached a point in the story where things are finally becoming clearer. The threats are becoming more palpable, the characters are beginning to reveal their true natures, and the world Lizzie knows is beginning to collapse.
Sonya knows this isn't the sort of story I normally read, but she trusts me to do my best to help her shape the best story she can. She's doing her part, I'm doing mine.
It's not my place to recommend this book, nor to provide a review of this book's quality; consider this a recommendation of the author's efforts to provide a great story.

Sweet Tea is book 1. North is book 2. Broken Boundaries is book 3.
Broken Boundaries is still all about Elizabeth. She is married and has one son. She's soon pregnant with her second child. Elizabeth and her man are extremely happy. Their love is so strong, I do not believe it will ever be broken. Still, there are secrets. The secrets get harder and harder to keep. Then she has her second child.
What an ending! I read that ending and have to wait for book 4, Absolution! Nooooooo....No. No. No. I love Elizabeth too much to wait! :)
This series is fantastic, addicting, best seller worthy, and just right for movies. :)
Another highly recommended book. Just start with Sweet Tea first. :)

Broken Boundaries is volume 3 of The Three Crowns. Like North(vol2) it is the continuation of Lizzie, Cain and Robs story as they go through many trial on the road to not only fulfilling a prophecy but their individual destinies as well. Somehow Sonya Ray continues to draw me into a story I have been invested in since Sweet Tea. Her imagery and ability to define her characters while leaving them open to grow is exceptional. Broken Boundaries is not simply the next book in her series it is the continuation of their lives and Ray's style of writing out her characters brings you so close to them that you can feel their hopes, fears, regrets and desires as you read.
Highly recommended to paranormal readers and even if your not, I strongly suggest you give The Three Crowns a try because the human side of the story is just as good as the vampire.

My friend, Sonya Ray, has done it again. Broken Boundaries has just the right amount of twists and turns. You will not want to put this book down until you are finished (and then you will want more). From start to finish you are captivated. I am in love with this series and the characters! I highly recommend, if you haven't already, that you get your Sweet Tea, head North and move on to Broken Boundaries. You will not be disappointed.

From the first book of this series, I was sucked in. Sonya didn't dissapoint with this book either, her story weaving skills are wonderful. The storyline flows smoothly, drawing you into the world within the pages. The characters take on a life of their own and your emotions float to the surface. I cried a little, laughed a little, and was on the edge of my seat a lot. I can't wait to dive into book four and see what's awaiting me there.

It took me a while to finally buy this book but I just think I hate being left on the edge, but with the next one coming out March 4th I definitely knew that it was time.
I don't think I can go any further without saying this: Wow, it is phenomenal. Ok, I digress. Lizzie's world has definitely changed since her simple life at Meadows. She keeps all of her old friends that were there in Sweet Tea (your favorite characters) and also has her new friends from North. Its a well diverse group of individuals and they all bring something unique to the story. It delves deep into the lives of not only Lizzie, but her friends as well and we learn more about the kind of people they are growing into. I can relate to several of them on some of the issues that they are going through and I believe that anyone could. Even though there is a paranormal aspect it does give you a dose of reality in the pages. It is not all glamour like you would expect from a wealthy and well known family, but something real.
It is very much a paranormal story, similar to twilight, but do not let that deter you, it is much, much better. It is never lacking in adventure or twists that keep you on the edge of your seat. I recommend this book to everyone whether you have to time to read the whole book or just a chapter at a time but believe me you will not be able to put this book down, and once you finish it, you will want to read it again. I really hope there will be more books to come after Absolution hits the shelves because this series gives you the kind of southern charm that you have grown to love, and leaves you wanting a big glass of sweet tea.

Just when you think the series can't get any better it does!! This installment is just as, if not more exciting than the first two books. Talk about an emotional roller coaster ride! I laughed, I cried, was in total suspense and mystified (and pretty much every other emotion you could think of). I can not even imagine how Lizzie felt.
I think what I love most in this series is that the Author seems to have a very clear path as to where this series is headed and has planned out how to get there in great detail. The major bonus is that it makes things clear for the reader while still providing excitement and plenty of twist and turns that you did not see coming (along with a couple you do but still love...) The characters are extremely well developed and seem to grown with each book (my fellow book-a-holics will know how hard this is to do and how rare it seems to be these days!)
I don't do spoilers so I will just leave it at: THIS is a must read!! If you haven't read the first two books yet defiantly snag them first. You probably could read them stand alone, but you would miss a great series, secrets being slowly revealed and really I feel that each book grows from the last. I can't wait to see where Mrs. Ray takes us next and find out what "the Plan" is all about!

I love this series! This has been my favorite book out of the three that have been released. Broken Boundaries is exciting from the very beginning. There's a lot of things happening in this book. There are some plot twists that will leave you shaking your head! I love it when something happens in a book and I never expected it. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and wanting more. The story of the Three Crowns is unique. I'm attached to Lizzie's character. I can't decide who I want Lizzie to be with, Rob or Cain. Both have the alpha male thing going for them. I'm excited to see where Sonya takes the rest of this story. I'll definitely be purchasing the rest of this series as soon as possible.

This book was amazing! I truly enjoy each book in this series. This book brings a few things together as Lizzie begins to catch on to her fathers story about the three crowns. A huge twist in this story literally had me speachless as I did not for see it coming. I was in total shock, a good shock I mind you but it truly blew my mind. I enjoy getting to know all of these characters a little better with each book and this one has some really awesome scenes as well as some "what the heck"?!! This author is truly talented and I loved this book!

Sonya Ray knows how to hook you from the beginning of her books. All of this series has been wonderful and had me hooked to find out what happens. There is lots of exciting twists & turns. There are lots of secrets and wow how to end the book...Sonya Ray has done it again. If you read it you know what I mean. I cant wait to read book 4 Absolution!!

So far, this is my favorite book in the series. The storyline is amazing and unique. Things are getting intense and this book has some twists and turns that I was not expecting. If you're a vampire enthusiast but want more than a knock off Twilight series...I highly recommend this whole series!
