Hirohiko Araki ( 荒木飛呂彦) is a Japanese manga artist. He left school before graduation from Miyagi University of Education.
He enjoys the baseball manga Kyojin No Hoshii (Star of the Giants); the video games Mario Kart and Bomberman; and likes Prince and other African-American singers, as well as jazz, rock, and rap.
Eight volumes in I think we finally have a semblance of a goal and a plot? Unbelievable
The resolution of Rock Guy arc was fun, I'm invested into the two of the mysteries of the part 8. Jobin has returned for his trip overseas and the man is fine. Araki's art is gorgeous as ever.
I have really enjoyed this manga from start to end. I really enjoy Hirohiko Araki's work on all of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure series and I believe this Jojolion is a good edition. I think this part starts out really strong with the history of Josuke and the mysterious means of being found in the wall eyes. I also enjoyed the slow build-up of unraveling the mystery and the conspiracy of the rokkaka fruit. The one problem I have with the book is I think that the ending of the story drags on for a long time and becomes a little repetitive and less interesting. I really like Wonder of You and its interesting ability but I think the character is very underdeveloped. I think Jojo's is at its best when it introduces the main villain near the beginning of the book and continues to develop them throughout the story instead of introducing them halfway through or at the end. I think this is done best in part 7 with the president and their quest across the US. The common enemy they were facing created a common goal for them to achieve throughout the whole part which is why it is my favorite. despite some of these downsides I still think that this is a really good part of the series and a great addition to the story.

it’s honestly very impressive how over 100 volumes into jojo it still SOMEHOW gets even more bizarre. like… i just nod my head and go yup!! ROCK PEOPLE. WEIRD FRUIT. PARFAITS. BEETLES. and somehow it all makes sense. i also canNOT get a read on the higashikatas. AND NOW WE GOT JOBIN. PLEASE LET HIM BE COOL OMG HES WACKY BUT PLEASEEEEEE. HES HOT. anyways! josuke love you my king and … keep living your morioh life
Start of the beetle fight arc, which is obviously one of the funniest. Also, the introduction of the Rokakaka fruit. Chapter by chapter, Gappy is getting closer to understanding who he is, who he was, and what this curse is.
