Healing Notes

Rate this book
Emerald-haired software developer Lily Park has spent three years hiding her past as a Juilliard piano prodigy. Nova Springs has become her sanctuary—small enough to disappear in, far enough from her public breakdown to start over. Her carefully constructed new life is perfect...until her boss assigns her to develop an app for the hospital's new music therapy program.

Dr. James Reynolds arrives in Nova Springs seeking redemption after a tragedy in his New York practice. The last thing he expects is to recognize something familiar in the guarded programmer assigned to his project—a woman who clearly shares his passion for music but flinches at its mention.

Forced to collaborate despite Lily's reluctance, they find themselves drawn together by their shared love of healing through music. Day by day, meeting by meeting, James gently breaks through the walls Lily has built around her heart. In the small-town charm of Nova Springs, where everyone knows everyone's business but still looks out for their own, Lily and James slowly discover they might be exactly what the other needs.
Healing Notes is a slow-burning, emotional journey about finding harmony in unexpected places. Return to beloved Nova Springs in this standalone romance where second chances, forced proximity, and small-town connections create the perfect melody for love.

The author has given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of Lily and James. The emotional story keeps us turning the pages with anxiety issues, a painful past, personal healing and connection.
