I checked out this book to read Tagore's poetry but it included a great deal more than: travelogues, letters, short stories, autobiographical information, conversations with Einstein and other noted men, fables, drama, his thoughts on the future of India and on education. There were large sections on art and literary criticism and philosophical meditation. It also included excerpts from letters to him from Albert Schweitzer, Robert Frost and George Bernard Shaw.
