Fresh off his hard-fought victory on World 3, Zeltrium, Jace Riven faces his next and deadliest challenge World 4 — Magraxis. A scorched wasteland of volcanic plains, blistering ash storms, and lethal predators like Heat-Immune Stalkers and Ash Drakes, Magraxis will push him to the edge.
To stand a chance, Jace must overhaul his entire strategy — upgrading his fire resistance, optimizing his chip grid, and pushing his AI bots to new limits. But survival here is more than just gear and tactics. Magraxis is a battlefield where only the most adaptive Harvesters survive, and one misstep can turn a promising run into ashes.
And beneath it all, the clock is ticking, Earth’s survival depends on every mission, every upgrade, every victory.
The grind is getting hotter. And for Jace, there’s no turning back.
I'll go with the cons first. I don't understand if humans are 2 years, away from being over, why don't harvesters have all the upgrades right from the start? Why do they have to earn them? I mean failure isn't an option when you're about to go extinct. I like that this is a fairly clean book. Except for the fact that when there is swearing, it's taking God's name in vain. It adds nothing to the story and as a Christian, it doesn't really motivate me to continue this series. Plus, Jace is only in world 4. That means at least 16 more books. No way I could be motivated to continue reading 1 series that's so long. It's pretty redundant. Get upgrades, figure out how to defeat the enemies, and advance to the next world. Rinse and repeat The pros. It's very exciting and a cool take on science fiction. The artwork is amazing! I enjoyed the 1st book most of all. But as I stated before, each subsequent one is rinse and repeat.
Interesting read, but it would be nice if the main character actually listened to advice
The main character frequently solicits advice on how to overcome an obstacle and then completely ignores it. After awhile I began to wonder why I took the time to even read the "seeking advice" sections of the book. Also, where did the random 1% kill shot go that the main character used in the first two books? Hundreds of shots and no kill shots included.
