As a scholarship winner and college graduate, I have developed proven tips and techniques that have helped me win over $100,000 in college scholarships and free financial aid toward my own education. As a scholarship and financial aid consultant I am passionate about helping others find, apply, and win free money to go to college. I have a masters degree from Indiana University and work as a therapist and private financial aid consultant. Through my blog, one-on-one counseling, and group presentations I have helped many students and parents find financial resources to attain their dreams of a college education. This book was written in response to the frequently asked questions from my clients.

As a college student I wanted to know more about scholarships and free financial aid. I can not afford to take out any more student loans and I am looking for alternative ways to pay for college. This book gave me everything I need to know about applying for scholarships.
This book showed me… -Different types of scholarships to look for… -Where to find scholarships online and in print… -How to write an academic resume (which will be helpful when applying to graduate school)… -The best way to ask for a letter of recommendation… -What documents I needed to prepare in advance… -How to submit multiple scholarships applications without stress…
Most importantly, it is easy to read. This is a “must read” for all college students that can not afford to pay for college without student loans. I will recommend this book to all my friends, and even my little sister in high school.
This book is amazing. I was in the process of completing applications to return to school and I had to think heavily on how I would pay for this without going into debt. In my research I came across this book. It gave me a realistic outlook on how to do just that. It helped me get organized. It let me know what I could expect in the scholarship process, what I needed and how to prepare. After reading it I realized that not only is this a great resource for adults who are going back to school, but an excellent resource for those who are graduating high school. I plan to make it a “pre” graduation gift to the high school juniors that I know. This is an excellent resource and I look forward to reading more from Ms. Spivey.
I wish I had this book before my senior year of high school… …I wish I had this book when I was a high school student trying to figure out ways to pay for college… …I wish I had this book when I was 19 and dropping out of college because I did not know how I would pay my tuition… …I wish I had this book before I took out any student loans… …I wish I knew then, what I know after reading this book…
