A Summoner's Tale by Victoria Danann - This third book also took me on an emotional roller coaster and nothing in this book was predictable. I fell in love with all the characters and their different personalities especially Baka. His story was heart breaking and full of life. On to the next book in this series can't wait. I would and have recommended this book to all reader's looking for a different twist on the paranormal.

"Magic Juice" Will Take You On A "Ride"!

Book 3 in the Prince of Demons series continues from Books 1 and 2 and with the help of some Black Swan "friends", Lana finds her "Prince" and the answers to her (and mine) questions. Ms Danann has given us a fun, entertaining and dare I say "adventurous" journey with Lana and Brave. I really enjoyed this love story!

With its unexpected turn of events and the challenges that they face, you can't help but just keep reading! For sure a page turner! Great job Victoria Danann can't wait for more. as always Five stars!

Book One: Into the Darkness; 5 *WINK* READ*******

****Warning explicit material this is not for the 18 and younger crowd****

Sasha knew things weren't right when she was growing up. Apparently being able to see shadow people meant constant scrutiny, doctor after doctor, and passed around in the foster system due to her "episodes"...yea her life was freaking awesome. It wasn't till Sasha and her sophomore sweetheart, Jared, went off to college together that things seem to be as normal as they could get. Jared took her "slips in sanity" with a shrug. Although she still couldn't open completely up to him he was her everything at the time.

It wasn't till a dinner date gone wrong that Sasha's world came crashing down onto her. That she realized her Shadow people were real! Jared and Sasha found themselves face to face with what she had seen many times, but never this close, never like this. The Shadows tried to erase what she and Jared had seen and experienced that night from their minds, but her mind would not allow it. She remembered EVERYTHING and she was going to find out just what the hell was going on.

Breene is an amazing writer and I am excited to read the next installment of the series. It is bold, sexy and will leave you wanting more!

*****Book Two: Braving The Elements; 5 *WINK* READ*******

After reading Into the Darkness I simple could not wait for the next installment of the Darkness series!

In Braving the Elements I felt we got a little more personal with the main characters we were introduced to in Book one. It was nice to understand them more and brought understanding to who/what their society was about.

We were introduced to Sasha's insecurities. We knew she had spunk, attitude and obviously a strong will, but what we didn't know was some of her insecurities with herself, her past and her constant need to fit and show her worth. With Charles now following her every move and constantly be scrutinized by those who were born and raised in the clan, her walls slowly start to crumble and we see her struggle to find just what the hell her purpose is. She gets mad, and trust me, you don't want to be on Sasha's bad side.

I must say that if Stefan can not make himself available for me that I will gladly take Charles. I LOVED his character in Braving the Elements. I found myself a little giddy when I knew a Charles scene was coming. He definitely grew on me and there were times I just wanted to hug him and take him off of Sasha's back for bit ;) There were so many times I couldn't help but feel so bad for him and laugh at his misfortune. Evil of me, I know, but he is just pure awesomeness.

Let's not forget about Stefan!! Oh Stefan *sigh*...

To see more of Stefan's POV was nice so we could understand his thought process and how he felt about his duty to his clan. We also saw insight on how he felt about Sasha versus his traditions/obligations. Stefan's harsh exterior soften up, opening himself up to the readers. As if we needed to love him more pfft.

This had a bit of everything! Comedy, action, sex, angst, suspense, anger, sadness and it was all well presented.

If you read Into the Darkness and felt a little in the dark and unsure please read them both back to back. As like any other first book in a series there are always questions left unanswered, consequences not delivered, and a little bit of chaos. Trying to fit the back story and build a present day plot is a lot to fit into one novella. You will find more is revealed and we can move onto the current development. Give it an honest try, please don't read it if you couldn't get through the first one (for whatever the reasons) and complain how it was a waste of your time and blah, blah, blah.

Absolutely LOVED this book and the first book in the Darkness Series, Into the Darkness! If you haven't read it please do and grab a copy of Braving the Elements. They are quick reads that will have you hooked and you will find yourself anxiously awaiting for book three with me!

PS. Stefan I want one too ;)

*****DESTINED BY BRENDA K. DAVIES - 5 *WINK* READ******

A great sequel to Awakened by Brenda K. Davies. The angst in this book is thrilling and intense. I will never forget the kitchen scene....that is all I will say about that *wink*

You are emotionally drawn to Isabelle's struggle to not want to fall into the same fate as her parents but the pull of the very sexy, and swoon worthy Stefan is irresistible. I mean that man can come over to renovate my house anytime...shirtless of course!

The chemistry between these two is undeniable but Isabelle's independent streak is getting in the way. In more ways than one unfortunately.

I can't wait for book 3!

I haven't read them all yet but for the one's I have OMG AMAZING So here are my review's for the one's I have read,,,
first Victoria Danann's A Summoner's Tale.....Yet again Victoria Danann has captured my heart with words in a book, by bringing them to life in my mind. She has a way of moving around from different parts of a story, yet still being able to keep you completely aware of what is going on throughout the whole thing. It amazes me has she can bring out different emotions in her characters that I wouldn't have pegged them to have, Baka for instance, in the other two books he was very loving towards Elora, and has an awesome sence of humor, but in the book we get to see a softer side of him that is a nice change and wasn't really expected. All i can say is that, I believe that any paranormal romance fan should give this series a look because it is well worth it and like me you may find that you too just may fall in love with the B Team..
Second Teresa Gablemans Damon,,, All I can say is where can I find me a Damon, with his protectiveness and rugged personality he is a character that is easy to fall in love with. And Nicole reminds me of well,,,, of me because she is stubborn and thinks that she doesn't need anyone. this book is very good because it is able to bring out all of you emotions throughout the whole book there were times when I caught myself laugh out loud, getting mad and feeling as though I could cry right there with them, and that for me with what make a five star book. Wonderful Read, if you haven't started it, you should.
this bundle is filled with some Great stories by some great writers at a great price, how can you not just love that. A+++++

"Let's Go Get The Wanker"
I have not read all the books in this box set but Victoria Danann's "A Summoner's Tałe" is fangtastic!
"The Summoner's Tale" is Baka's story....he's intense yet vulnerable, an accomplished vampire who has lived centuries yet his quest to "fix" his kind could have been his undoing....The one woman who shunned him, who ignored him, who purposely pushed him away would end up being his savior.....Baka's little piece of "Heaven".....
I can not wait to take a bite out the other books in this set!

Get ready....your fangs will be drooling!
Kym Grosso has once again given the reader a very hot sexy read with "Luca's Mahic Embrace"...
if you love an alpha who just oozes sexiness who just happens to be a vampire too then throw a witch into the mix and she has given the reader the vapors.....
Loved this couples story!

What a fun, easy read! I loved the characters and the banter between them in Teresa Gabelman's "Damon"(The Protector series). Ms. Gabelman has created an interesting twist to the vampire/ human interaction and her characters bring you into the "Protector" series. Just what I needed....another hunky alpha BBF....

This is a wonderful love story. It has a man to drool over, magic, demons and sex. What more could you ask for?

Anna and Brave were meant for each other, but it seems like everything is still getting in their way. They find themselves on the run again. But is it another "Adventure" that Brave setup or the real thing?

If you haven't read the previous books, make sure to start with Demon Prince 1. You don't want to miss any of the action.

Can't wait for more books from Victoria.

Excited for the final installment! Things didn't go exactly as planned for Lana and Brave. With a few more twists and turns. Brave has been captured by the Reinlitegen demons and cannot answer the call of the ring. Lana calls Litha Storm for assistance. Lana and Litha rescue Brave and return to his realm for a trail run at a relationship. Unfortunately the Rein demons have returned to cause trouble again. Great ending to this spin off trilogy.

Damon by Teresa Gabelman, a must read sizzling vampire tale is included in this collection! I really enjoyed this book. It was sexy, humorous, and heartwarming. The characters were very interesting. Damon is a wonderfully strong, sizzling protector. I liked the strong human woman, Nicole and I adored Jared. It was very fast paced. The entire Protectors series is fabulous!

wow!

Really enjoyed the book. Will see some of the old characters from different books in the "Black Swan" series. Smart and sassy dialogue. The book is well written and edited.
I highly recommend it. This book is not a stand alone. It's recommended that you read all 3 books in the "Prince of Demons" series.

Review for Honeymoon Bite:
When Anne finds her best friend and husband sleeping together at her wedding she decides to go on the planned honeymoon on her own. While she's in Italy, she meets her death when Golden vampire Marcus discovers that she's his fated mate. Unfortunately, the Golden vampire that wants him, Maya, is not happy with this claim. When Anne gets turned into a Golden, you really feel for her through the struggles she goes through not really knowing what she's become. And then the attraction that she and Marcus feel for one another and the trials they have to go through just to be together. This was a really well written story and I enjoyed getting to know two other siblings of Marcus, Paolo and Laurel, I really hope the two of them will be able to find their fated mates in this series!

1)A Summoner's Tale: Dark Vampire Fairy Tale (Knights of Black Swan Book 3) By Victoria Danann
Love Victoria Danann's Books! This was a continuation from The Order of the Black Swan series. I did not know what a summoner was. I was pleasantly surprised to find out. This is Baka's story. But we still got to see Elora & Ram, Storm & Litha, Kay & Katrina from the other books. You really should read the other 2 books 1st. My Familiar Stranger & A Witches Dream.I found out what a Charger is. Was so excited to see this. This book is so well written that I could picture the whole thing in my mind like I was watching a movie. Must mention it has Vampire, Elves, Demon's, Witches,Berserkers, & Wolves!!! This is a must read. It has Romance,Fantasy, & Paranormal!!! Get your copy & get lost in this tale Just like I did!!! Once you start reading Victoria's books you will be a forever fan. 2)Damon (The Protectors Series) Book #1 By Teresa Gabelman
Love a hot Vampire! Watching Damon fight the bond with Nicole was actually fun. Nicole's big heart just reels him in. When you have big bad Vamps working to protect children it is sexy. So glad they took care of the bad guy. This is my 1st book by Teresa Gabelman. It won't be my last. I have to read Jared's book. ... 3)Luca's Magic Embrace (Immortals of New Orleans Book 2) By Kym Grosso
This book is about Luca & Samantha. Vampire & Witch.
They actually make a great pair. They get to know each other as Luca is protecting her from someone trying to get a magic amulet from her. That she has no clue where this is does not matter to them. As they are guided in their search she is also getting to know her powers as a witch. This is a pretty steamy book. WOW some of the intimate scenes had my glasses fogging up. There are some good action scenes in here also. Love the ending! Not wanting to give spoilers but:
It was unbelievable how this little witch had transformed Luca. Once cold and serious, he now was truly enjoying life, exuberant about the future.
Peace. In all his life, he'd never felt it. Today, lying here with his mate, Luca had finally found it within her magic embrace.
Love a happy conclusion. Not going to say ending because the Saga continues!!! Will be reading Tristans book next.

Destined (Vampire Awakenings 2) by Brenda K. Davies *1 Star
I previously read the first in this series and thought it was ok, could be better...and I was hoping that this would take a step forward but, it did not. Isabelle was one of the most annoying characters I've ever read.

Damon (The Protectors) by Teresa Gabelman ***3 Stars
This was a cute, quick read. The sparks fly immediately between Nicole and Damon but they both fight it for their own reasons. And their denial of their feelings for each other and the lack of communication does get to the point of ridiculous toward the end. But overall the story was very fun and I enjoyed all of the characters.

The Summoner's Tale (Knights of Black Swan 3) by Victoria Danann *1DNF Star
This definitely suffered in my opinion from not having read the previous 2 books. It seems to be a pretty complicated storyline with a lot of characters and starting with the 3rd book just didn't work.

Luca's Magic Embrace by Kym Grasso *1 DNF Star
Luca and Samantha were awful and I couldn't read about them past 5 chapters. Even the sexy parts weren't very sexy because of how annoying I found them.

Into The Darkness by K.F. Breene (Parts 1&2) *1 Star
So there was a lot of rape and attempted rape scenes in this book. The fact that the characters have their brains warped to first enjoy it and then to forget it does not make things better. And the fact that Sasha is not really perturbed by this happening is pretty disturbing....but I guess she has better things to do, like follow Stefan around.

Honeymoon Bite by Sharon Hamilton *1 DNF Star
Bleh everything was just bad, the story, the characters....I forced myself through 10 chapters and gave up.

Midnight Captive (Bonded by Blood 2) by Arial Burnz *1 DNF Star
This was just meh. I think it definitely suffered from being the second in a series as part of an anthology. That being said it didn't make me want to start from the beginning.

The Nightlife San Antonio by Travis Luedke *1 DNF Star
Another that I just couldn't get into. I really didn't like the characters (after 5 chapters) or the set up of the story at that point so I didn't feel the need to continue.

Blood & Snow by RaShelle Workman ***3 Stars
This was just a tad over the top but it wasn't long, moved quickly and it kinda worked.

Revenant in Training by RaShelle Workman ***3 Stars
Snow is turning into a vampire to potentially become the new host for the vampire queen. The quirky next door professor used to be a Hunter and has promised that he and his seven sons will protect here. All the while she is attracted to her dream Hunter Christopher.

The Vampire Christopher by RaShelle Workman **2 Stars
Snow needs to start training to defend herself but she is too busy flirting with her Hunter. And all the while she seems totally ok with knowing nothing about anything. Also a scarf with an Ed Hardy T-shirt?!? I couldn't concentrate after that visual. And just the fact that she decides to keep everything to herself instead of letting the people who are helping her know... Very annoying.

Blood Soaked Promises by RaShelle Workman **2 Stars
SO her Hunter disappears, her father and step mother make a random appearance, her best friend is a witch...and then she has a complete meltdown and does the equivalent of sticking her fingers in her ears and singing really loudly.

Prey and Magic by RaShelle Workman ***3 Stars
Snow has another breakdown when she thinks she kills one of her friends. She runs away and turns herself over to her darker side for a few weeks and is pulled out of it by the Vampire Queen.

Masquerade's Moon by RaShelle Workman ***3 Stars
Despite all of the danger they still have Snows birthday party. It is of course interrupted by Gabe's jerk dad and the vampire queen. Snow tries to fight back and ends up tapping into even more power.

Seal of Gabriel by RaShelle Workman ****4 Stars
Snow is in a coma following her fight with Oberon. She overhears bits of conversations as her family and friends visit her. But she also finds herself linked with Silindra, the vampire queen who created the Seal of Gabriel.

Telltale Kisses by RaShelle Workman ****4 Stars

Passionate Bites 5 Stars
I haven’t read them all yet but all the ones I have read are all 5 star books.
Into the Darkness by K.F. Breene 5 Star
More and better 10 stars if I could
This was one of the most fascinating and very entertaining stories I've read. So very original in the story line and so very well written. I love the complexities to the story line. I am so looking forward to the next book in the series. And the preface just makes you wonder who. Great job to the author. Tears and laughter all in the same book. If I could have I would have given this a 10 star.

Braving the Elements (Darkness, #2) by K.F. Breene 5 Stars
Entertaining to the Max with a lot more
Have you ever read a book where you want to read it so fast to know it all right now and yet you want to savoir it slowly? Well this is that book. High octane with lots of things blowing up. A romance to make your heart hurt. And all the good against bad you can handle. Love this book but can’t wait for the next in the series. And from what I understand it will be the latter half of April. Great job to the author.

LUCA’S MAGIC EMBRACE - Kym Grosso

DAMON - Teresa Gabelman

DESTINED - Brenda K. Davies

HONEYMOON BITE - Sharon Hamilton 5 Stars
Enjoyable, entertaining and exciting
This is a very well written love story with some good vampire characters. Good interplay between all the cast members. Even though this may be the first book of a series, it is a self-contained story. I can see where other characters can play off this book and have their own stories written. I love the HEA concept and what lengths people or vampires will go to insure the safety of their loved one or true mate. I loved the concept that all children born from vampires have the choice to either stay human as there are born or become a vampire. New and very original concept in a vampire book. I was given an audible book by the author thru a book party. This is one of the first audible books that I felt was done very well by the narrator. Most could use two voices, one man and one woman. This narration did not need that.

A SUMMONER’S TALE - Victoria Danann

BLOOD AND SNOW VOLUMES 1-8 - RaShelle Workman 5 Stars
Very intricate tale
This is a fascinating story of a human (Snow White) who is more than just that and then becomes a vampire. And about a dead queen of the original vampire’s and the gem called The Seal of Gabriel her quest created to help keep magic in the world. About seven boys/men who are like brothers and more to Snow. A best friend who end up being more than just human and so much more. The author weaves a tale around magic and magical beings and brings it all into the here and now. Well written and very enjoyable to read. Looking forward to reading the last of the series to find out what finally happens in the end.

THE NIGHTLIFE SAN ANTONIO - Travis Luedke

MIDNIGHT CAPTIVE - Arial Burnz 5 Stars

I have not yet finished this box set, but here are my favorites so far!

Victoria Danann's A Summoner's Tale is truly amazing.

This is Baka's story, so a bit darker than the first two books. Learning about all he experienced through the ages adds unbelievable depth to his character and makes him all the more compelling to the reader.
I also truly enjoyed Elora's adventure into motherhood as well as her new loyal protectors.
Victoria did a fantastic job of showing how these two main characters share so many personality traits. It is enlightening to see how they share similar experiences helping them bond even more as friends for the ages.

Teresa Gabelman's Damon from the Protectors Series . . . Damon is one hot Alpha vampire determined to protect the sassy and very independent social worker Nicole Callahan. This is a great twist on vampires as the really good guys. Their chemistry was amazing and Teresa did a great job with Damon's character development from bad ass to caring.

Kym Grosso's Luca's Magic Embrace from the Immortals of New Orleans is also one hot and sexy read that you won't want to put down!

I scored this collection of novels for $0.99 and it was one of the best dollars I have ever spent. I still have not technically finished all of the stories, but I already consider it money very well spent. I found not one, not two, but three new authors that I have gone on and bought more of their work. At the end of the day, this collection has given me hours of stories that extend way beyond the confines of this ebook.

Some Ratings/Reviews

Destined – Brenda K Davies – 2.5 stars – The overall story was okay. There were waay too many characters and you spend half the story trying to keep them all straight. The heroine has parents who are madly in love and is apparently terrified of ending up like them. It doesn’t even make sense. She acts like a spoiled teenager: avoiding the hero and picking fights, among other things. The hero is an angry control freak that has been around far too long to be so naïve about mates. Quite honestly, I didn’t really like either and cannot be sure how they can really be happy together.

Summoner’s Tale – Victoria Dannon – 5 stars – I realized quickly this book was the 3rd of a series that sounded very interesting. I bought the other books in the series and read them in order. What a wonderful addition to the series. I fell in love with Baka in the first story and wanted him to be happy. I am so glad he got his HEA. He very much deserved it.

Damon – Teresa Gabelman – 4 stars – This was the first book in Teresa’s Protector series. I read this story, fell in love with the characters (especially the secondary ones), and promptly bought the rest of the books in the series. I thought the storyline was a different take (for me at least): vampire blood being used as a drug, vampires needing to feed from other vampires instead of humans, etc. I enjoyed this story immensely.

Luca’s Magic Embrace – Kym Grosso – 5 stars – I discovered this series by Kym Grosso (Immortals of New Orleans) from another source, so I did not need to read it in this collection; however, I am very pleased it was included because Luca and Samantha’s story was one of the best of this series (much much better than Kade and Syndey).

I would have sworn I'd already reviewed this installment in this book. (This novel was published in three parts, but it's really just one book.)

Book one:
Victoria Danann is an independent author who writes incredibly good sci-fi/fantasy mash-ups that are part mystery and part romance. The only other author who does this hybrid incorporating both sci-fi and fantasy that I know of is Wen Spencer (one of my TOP favorite authors). If you know of others who do this well, please comment on this review. This is part of the Black Swan series (see my other reviews - an excellent series), and it focuses on a new arrival to the dimension - Her name is Atalanta, and she's from a very close dimension, because she wasn't all that traumatized coming over. First half of this novella is her backstory - she was left at the alter, betrayed, and decides to start a new life. She moves to Boston and buys a house boat. On her maiden solo voyage, she runs into strange weather and ends up crossing dimensions. Part two is her acclimatization to the new dimension and her job in the Order of the Black Swan. She's paired up with an established character, but I have a hunch that she's not going to end up with him. She's done a project involving a demon artifact, and the book ends on a cliff-hanger where she's waking up in a demon prison (probably in yet a third dimension - a demon one.)

Book Two:
The demon is a prince in his realm, and not really a demon at all. He's been secretly in love with Atalanta since he first saw her and reads all her books (romances) to learn her language. He devises a clever scenario to woo her that involves a crazy escape from a demon dungeon. She's not pleased with him by the end of the story.

Book Three (this one - SPOILERS):
She gets over it and goes back to him, to find him in another crazy scenario involving demon invaders. Fool me once, she thinks. Only the invasion is real. She finds hidden reserves of strength and gets over her anger. The ending is horrible. The author put no effort at all into the story craft. She just swept everything under a rug to tidy up the character's messes.

this is a review for Damon by Teresa Gabelman

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

I met this awesome author at the IRC book convention in October. I was super stoked when she reached out after the convention and asked me to review this book. My Co-Founder and I are HUGE Paranormal readers. We are vamp girls for sure!! Well I got so busy with life that this book kinda sat on my bookshelf for a few weeks. When I finally was able to muddle out of the craziness, I couldn't put this book down!!! I loved the worlds that Teresa has built. I opened this book and had it read in one day!!! Seriously!! her vamps are hot, caring and dangerous...perfect mix if you ask me...well since you are reading my review you must wanna know right???

Ok so this book is about Nicole who is a social worker. The world knows that vamps exists. There are bad vamps and humans who use the blood of young children. So her job is to make sure that BOTH races of children are protected. Well, they government has teamed up with the Vampire Council and sent a few Warriors to help train the pathetic humans. The minute Nicole walks in the room she sees Damon and he sees her. The chemistry is amazing. Their "side kicks" (Jared and Pam) make for great comedy and as good sounding boards for the other when they are being stupid and stubborn about their feelings for one another. So Nicole and Damon try being "friends with benefits" but both knowing it is going to destroy them when its over. Nicole wants MORE and Damon wants nothing to do with MORE..typical male!!!

Well Nicole soons finds out that the bad people are kiiinnndda not happy with her because she keeps saving all the kids they are draining. So a plot ensues to take her out. Damon does his typical brooding alpha male nonsense and tries to push Nicole away even when she bares her heart to him.

I will say that at one point I had tears when Nicole bares her soul and Damon walks away...JACKASS!!! I loved the book and was pretty excited about how everything ends up and the final scene was pretty amusing!!

I have only read one of the books in this collection. That one is A Summoner's Tale. It is a part of a wonderful series. Let me say this right away, this book alone would make this a collection worth having.

I think this might be my favourite one in Victoria Danann's series, and I loved each and every one. Perhaps I would give this book 5 stars plus. The story had me at the edge of my seat for most of the book. Both Baka and Elora had me biting my nails and frequently in tears. I can't believe I haven't mentioned Blackie in my reviews of the previous books. I suppose there are just so many wonderful characters and events in each book that it is hard to cover them all without spoilers. And I don't want anything to spoil your experience of these books. That said, Blackie plays a very important part in this story. It will make you hug your dog even more and if you don't have a dog, this might make you go out and adopt one.

There are also so many unforgettable images in this book; the snow falling in an Irish forest, the howl of wolves, an infant's cry. This is a book about love, loyalty, and sacrifice. There are so many examples of incredible bravery in this story both human and nonhuman. A Summoner's Tale is darker than the others in the series but is not without humour. We are now aware of what can be lost and how fragile existence can be. Your whole life can change in an instant. Perhaps because it is darker, the joys are even deeper.

One final thing, NEVER FORGET YOUR CELL PHONE.

What a great ending to this series. Victoria Danann has woven a tale that is exciting, enthralling, and entertaining. I fell in love with Brave in the first book. He continues to develop and grow. The more information we are given about him, the more remarkable he seems. In this part, we do learn about his life, the world he came from, and the world in which he was forced to grow up.

The last tale ended with Lana realizing she wanted to see Brave again. She took the magic ring and called his name. Nothing happen. Book 3 starts with her trying variations of his name with no success. Soon we find out why he hasn't been able to go to her. Lana turns to the half witch/half demon Litha for help. She is know as the best tracker in the Black Swan organization. I loved her role in this and I have to say, I was missing her and her father Deliverance. So it was an added treat that they were part of this story. We also get to see more of Brave's demon friend Dart. He quickly became one of my favourite characters. There are new dangers to face and obstacles to overcome. The story kept me on the edge of my seat wondering how they were going to sort out the problems and the shifts of fortune.

Perhaps the best thing about these books, is how much we come to care about the characters. They are complex and fully developed. It is one of the reasons that we don't want these stories to end. I want to have more of Brave, Lana, and Dart. Although this is the last book in the trilogy, I truly hope it is not the last we see of those characters.

Prince of Demons 3 is the final installment in the Prince of Demons quick release trilogy. Lana and Brave's adventures are far from over, and there is now a real threat to their safety. The harrowing experiences they have will either bring them closer together or drive a wedge between them.

Lana and Brave's characters really grew on me throughout the trilogy and it was nice to see some familiar characters from the Order of the Black Swan as well. Lana has really adjusted to her new reality and Brave was absolutely charming. Being a human raised by demons he is not really familiar with the English language and common sayings. I must admit I was entertained by his moments of confusion.

As I expected Danann once again delivered on the action. I would have loved to see just a little more heat, because Brave is really kind of tasty! My favorite thing about this last chapter was the laugh out loud moments when Lana and Brave were interacting with one another. The jury is still out on whether or not I liked this as a trilogy or would have preferred it as a whole book. I am leaning toward the latter; although the first two cliffhangers were exciting I believe had it been released as a whole book the ending would have had more of an impact on me. On a whole I enjoyed the story and I can't wait to see what Ms. Danann brings us next!
