Wiggles

Rate this book
What is the farmer's wife doing to that cow? What is she collecting from the chickens' nests? What's that strange noise? What's inside the bee hives? Wiggles the puppy has so many questions. ""Wait and see,"" her father tells her as they explore the farm one morning. But Wiggles is too curious to wait. Wiggling with excitement, she bounds heedlessly into everything, leaving a trail of comical mishaps in her wake. Like her brother, Hugs, the hero of ""Hugs and Kisses,"" and her sister Wags, heroine of ""Don't Worry, Wags,"" this curious puppy will wiggle her way into the hearts of young readers.

Wiggles wakes up early and gets the opportunity to take a walk around the farm with her father, and experience things that she misses while she's usually sleep. The cows are milked, the eggs are gathered, and the bee hives are emptied. All of these early morning chores accomplished by the farmer's wife are new adventures for Wiggles.

Another great one in the series. This one follows the little boy puppy on his adventures with his dad following the farmer's wife doing her morning round of chores. In the end, he ends up enjoying a breakfast of milk, eggs, honey and a swim in the pond. It was easy to get my son to the breakfast table after this, because that's what we were having too!
