Rayvon Laws swore he'd never get married. There were too many beautiful women in the world to choose from and he was too greedy to settle down with just one. The longest he'd been in a serious relationship was two weeks. But that all changed when he met Stacy who finally snatched up his heart… and all his other drama.

What he didn’t know was that Stacy, the self-proclaimed good girl, could get down and dirty when pushed to her limit. Dealing with her husband’s other women causes her to pull a few tricks from her own bag and sends everyone into a tailspin of confusion.

In a story of sex, lies and cheating who does it best Rayvon or Stacy?

My Husband’s Other Women is a novel that will lead readers thinking one thing, when the story is about another thing. The title made me think that the man was a cheater. But he was a man of many beautiful women. A man who didn’t want to marry and yet. One woman who caught his heart and can deal with his crap made him settle down. His new woman has to deal with her husband’s other women. A challenge that most women wouldn’t be able to or wouldn’t want to deal with and yet, Rayvon Laws has found a tough women who proved to be everything he wanted with a few surprises of her own. Will his wife Stacy try to be what her husbands wanted in all his other women or will she find out new things about herself that even she didn’t know?
I was highly surprised in Regina Swanson’s novel. I read the title thinking I knew exactly what this book was about and then I found out that I was completely wrong. I was intrigued by the story’s plot and the well written characters as well. This book was a completely new perspective in the romance genre than I am use to, but overall the book proved to be well worth reading. I would recommend other readers to read this book by Regina Swanson. You will be surprised just like I was and hooked. I rate My Husband’s Other Women a 5 out of 5 stars.

I enjoyed. I knew from page one that this was a five star read! The events kept me engaged throughout the whole story. The book was written properly without lots of errors. I'm going right into the next part.

My Husband’s Other Women is the debut novel of Regina Swanson. I have to be honest and say that I have never read anything in the urban genre before this book. I may not be the best person to give a review, but here is what I think about this particular novel. Overall, I thought the book was okay, especially for the author’s first-time. I am impressed. The author does a good job with the character development in this book. For example, at first glance, the people that you are reading about seem some of the most morally reprehensible individuals that you will ever read about. We do find out later that there are several layers to each of the characters in this book. There are things that have happened to them that have shaped the way that they are now. I feel that the prose flows rather well despite the many different characters that are propelling the story.

What I didn’t like about this book is that it reads like Jerry Springer meets Madea. The dialogue used for the characters makes them sound like high school kids from the “Hood” and not the educated professionals that they are supposed to be. There are also places in the story that seem a little rushed. You have two characters meet in one chapter and all of a sudden they in love and getting married by the next. I also have a problem with someone praying to God for a married man to leave his wife. I get where the author is trying to go with this novel. I feel like she is trying to show that things aren’t what they appear to be and when you rely on God all things work out for the good. As I stated before I have not read any urban fiction so this might just be the norm for the genre, however I feel that you can have strong black characters that present themselves well. The author left the end open on this book and I feel that there may be more to come from this group. I can see good things on the horizon for all involved.

Where was the editing in this book?
You can't keep the dialogue straight because another person will start talking, but you don't know this because the speech starts on the same line as someone who was previously speaking.
The story is good but it's ruined by the terrible/lack of editing.

So many things were wrong with this book. The author had a good story idea, but my first clue that I should stop reading was on page one of the prologue when Rayvon was having sex with Jackie (his side piece) and dirty-talking about his dick and how it was too much for his wife to handle. (OK, can I just say ugh?)

Too raw. Too Jerry Springer-ish. Words like melodrama and daytime soap opera come to mind. References to God and prayer felt out of place in this. book.

I wish Amazon eBook division had a return policy.

Very good.

wow! at first I did blame Stacy for that being there for her husband, but after deeply reading this book I realized that her husband is no good he is a straight up cheater from before he married to Stacy and he will also be. however, it's a good book to read and it had have thaught me a lot about when there is no child in a marriage it can problem for your marriage ( thought to think about but you have to read this book)

I think this was a good book I can't wait for the 2nd book to come out because I know Ray is still thinking that Stacy stepped out on him. Its so sad how rumors are started and and honestly I would to hear more about Cree and her mom because I know she was shocked to see her at Lois wedding. Overall the book is good and Janice ended up winning but she thinks she got a faithful man and that will be exciting to see how she and Stacy may have something in common for real.

My husband's other woman

This was a good read. Who knew that prayers would be answered and each character found their soul mate. Cheating on your spouse and you will get caught. Hmmm...

Good Pageturner

I gave this book a five star because I couldn't put it down. I loved all the characters because at the end of the day they all were just looking from love. Even Rayvon. All he wanted was a baby and he got just that. Looking forward to reading the second one book.

This was a great read. The story pulls you in and you become a part of it. There was a couple of times that I wanted to reach into the book and just smack Rayvon. He is one trifling dude. Now on to part 2. This is a must read series and I would recommend it to anyone who has not read it.

The messiness of it all

This book was so good! I can’t believe all the messiness but it was so good. For minute I was like uh uh no you don’t Lois Trylord is for Stacy but turns out he was trying to hook her up with his nephew Tylord. Rayvon was something else! He just can’t keep it in his pants and then to leave Stacy for a home wrecker smh I was over him, he was stupid. Cree I’m happy that she and James are bk in their happy place but I couldn’t be sitting up in the women’s face knowing I was one of his many side pieces. This was definitely a five star. Glad I DONT have to wait for part two.

You, me, & them

This was a really good read. It kept my interest regarding what was going to happen next, and even though there were a few errors, I was still eager to finish it in two days. This author kept my attention with the interesting twist and turns in the storyline. I look for to reading more of her work.

Interesting read. Rayvon was just a low down dirty dude who cannot be tamed. Having a loving wife is a means to an end for him.

The title of this book is very misleading.

So glad Stacy finally realized she could do better. Rayvon is something else. Happy Cree and Lois worked things out. Get this book you won't be disappointed!
