This book is full of interesting historical facts not only about the Empire State Building, but, also, about how buildings were constructed in different times and about the reactions of the people who lived those events. I learned about interesting people I knew nothing about. The life of workers during this time was another interesting topic.

The chapters are short and difficult concepts simplified effectively.

Heights of buildings were limited due to lack of proper materials and technology limitations according to the author. The construction of the Empire State Building at 102 stories was able to leverage new developments in building technology as well as in new materials that were shown to be stronger and lighter. Today the Empire State Building is synonymous with New York. Once the tallest building in the world, it’s still impressive today. The author presents many facts of how this iconic building came to be. It is well-written and a quick and easy read.

Where is the Empire state Building is a nonfiction book about what used to be the tallest building in the world. This book tells how the owners of this plan to make the tallest building ever got the money, employees, and time to accomplish this goal. The people of New York City were very proud of the tallest building ever being in their city. When the project was completed, the tower was open for business as well as visitors from around the globe. I loved learning about this unbelievable story on how the Empire Building was built and how it was used. It still stands today in New York City, though it is not the tallest building anymore, New York still loves it. I hope I can visit it one day too.

The theme of the novel is to infer and entertain you about the Empire State Building. It gives great details and facts on how it was built and how it and was used. I enjoyed learning about eh construction of the tower, because it clearly states the material and how many people and how long it took to construct the building. I think it was crazy how they had for courts in the tower during construction so workers did not have to go down to get lunch. I hope other people enjoy this book as much as I did.

What was the Empire State Building by Janet Pascal was a very interesting Book and had lots of facts that I did not know about. For example the Empire State building Had many obstacles while building including it not being able to stand up. The Empire State building was built out of steel. They made the building able to sway back and forth to help it stay up during the wind. On a normal day it's sways about 2 feet. On a windy day it sways around six feet.The Empire State Building is finished just in time right before the Great Depression.

I like this book because it had lots of facts that I did not know about. I also like this book because it also gives some facts from how it is doing now.

I recommend this book to anyone who is wanting to know some features about New York or just about the Empire State building in general.

I LOVED this book! It was so interesting to me to see everything that went into the imagining and the building of the Empire State Building. Maybe it was because I'm going there soon, but I really loved learning about it!

A good book for young children who are interested in learning about the Empire State Building. Liked how it talked about the race to build the tallest building.

What Is The empire State building by Janet Pascal. The Empire State building at one time was the tallest building in the world. Then Dubai took the tallest building and apparently it wobbles when the wind is fast enough. It was not known about until 2 building were finished that were trying to become the tallest towers and one of them was the tallest towers for about a year then the Empire State Building was built. It was about 1500 feet tall and originally they wanted Zeppelins to land on the top and people could go down to the bottom.

Some facts about the empire state building that I learned was that it was not originally going to have an elevator because they were too slow. Also it did not originally have the pointy piece on the top, lastly it was shaped after a pencil.

I recommend this book to people who buildings and want to become architect.
