Rate this book
Aria Skeendrow was born to rule but forced to wed.

As the princess of Kesadra, she dreamed of leading armies, not wearing crowns. But when her father derails her future and arranges a marriage to secure the kingdom's alliances, Aria's world shifts. Her intended is everything she despises–cocky, insufferable, and far too charming for his own good.

Torn between duty and desire, Aria struggles against the bond forming between them. His maddening arrogance hides a surprising tenderness, making it harder for her to keep her heart guarded. But as tensions rise and secrets unravel, Aria must will she forge a new path with a man she hated from the start–or will her heart lead her somewhere entirely unexpected?

In a world where loyalty is tested and love comes at a cost, Aria's greatest battle may be the one from within.
