Saint is Havoc’s most feared fighter—undefeated, untouchable, and utterly silent. He doesn’t make friends. He doesn’t form attachments. And he sure as hell doesn’t play protector… until she’s thrown into his world like bait.
Eden was sold to settle a debt. Trapped in a place where violence reigns and mercy is extinct, her only hope is the man they call a monster. But Saint is far from safe—he’s the one thing more dangerous than the ring itself.
He’s cold. She’s chaos. And together, they might just break the world.
I have been writing and telling stories since the early 2000s. However, I never published my writings. I was keeping them to myself. I recently took the chance to publish my books. And I'm happy to say I've had some success and am building a reader base on GoodNovel. It's a privilege to share my work with a large and welcoming audience.
I loved this book! The story was immersive and moved along at a pace that made me want to keep reading because I needed to know what was going to happen next. Definitely would recommend. Gritty with a slow burn level of spice that fits the story so well. Can’t wait for the next one!
"Heart of Havoc" is the first book in the Havoc Trilogy, serving as an awe-inspiring and chaotic introduction to the series, marked by themes of trauma. I don’t want to spoil anything for potential readers because it’s a must-read. Eden has known nothing but pain since she was young, and she learns that no one can break you but yourself. When her father sells her to settle his own debt with an underground fighting ring called Havoc, she walks into it willingly. Havoc is run by three of the most feared individuals in the area, and crossing any of them is not advisable. Eden is given to Saint, who has not spoken or shown any emotional attachment since he lost someone years ago. However, with Eden's arrival, something within him begins to change, which does not go unnoticed, and now Eden has been marked.
K. Bryant has done an amazing job of crafting a world filled with characters whose emotional pain, betrayal, trauma, and acceptance of their situations resonate deeply. The story is so engaging from start to finish that I couldn't put it down. The twists, drama, and betrayals left me wanting more, and I didn’t want it to end. I can’t wait for the next installment, which will be about Reaper!
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
