Ruby, Zoe, and Yaya grew up in the same household, raised by the same parents, but their lives are anything but the same. Ruby, the middle sister with a soft heart, is trying to escape a delusional ex who just won’t take a hint. An encounter with an old friend reminds her that she’s worth more. Zoe, the youngest, thrives on chaos—risk-taking, and living life on the edge. She gets the shock of her life when she discovers the one man who holds her attention longer than a thrill ever has. And then there’s Yaya, the eldest and the so-called "perfect" one, juggling marriage, motherhood, a career, and a growing sense that her life isn't as picture-perfect as it seems. Like many siblings, their relationship comes with drama and unresolved issues. With both parents deceased, all they have is each other, and it’s time they work on mending their broken bond.
There’s bound to be drama and drama there was! As a fan of Khara’s writing, I enjoyed this one too. From the realness to the use of their native “slang,” I enjoyed how this book captured the essence of the island.
This was a lovely Christian Romance novel. It's about three sisters Ruby, Taye Taye and Zoe. Their parents died in a fishing trip gone wrong. Ruby and Zoe were teenagers so Taye Taye step up to help raise the girls . Zoe took grieving real hard she end up with 3 baby fathers, Ruby move to Atlanta from Bahamas with her boyfriend. Things change for the sisters when Ruby move back home , Zoe had an intervention and Taye Taye all wet a therapist and went back to church. Two sisters got engage on Thanksgiving Day in the island .Khara you did it again lovely read.
I really love how each sister got her own story in this one book dealing with them individually and bringing them together to show how their lives still intertwined. Another good one by Khara.
These sisters were unique. I loved their perspective of their roles. Family is not easy. I love the act of therapy. Therapy is to improve and assist. The men I loved. It wasn't back and forth and there were no games. With God all things are possible. We often put more stress on ourselves than necessary. Khara absolutely loved this. Your person is your person✨️✨️✨️
This book is fiya 🔥🔥🔥! The story is entertaining, inspirational and has insightful messages. The storyline has actual scenes that is involved realistic life scenarios. The story of repentance is clear, Romans 3:23. I went to church, listened to a great sermon, had prayer meeting and bible study; inclusion of psychological counseling and men getting advice about successful marriages. The characters are well developed and I can visualize them. The author's creativity and expertise are on display! I immensely enjoyed the book! Keep writing and I will keep reading!
