My instinct took one look at Daddy Drago and immediately folded. 🤭
This book completely consumed me with its raw emotion, aching devotion, and the kind of love that feels both dangerous and safe all at once. Drago was never meant to be anything more than a weapon, a man who lived in the shadows and denied himself happiness, until Lily became the one person he could not stay away from. And Lily, after years of carrying pain and searching for something steady, finally found the one place she truly belonged, in him.
The way their love slowly unraveled him was what made this story impossible to forget. His protection was not loud, but constant, built into every sacrifice and every moment he chose her over himself. And watching Lily rediscover her strength with him beside her made their connection feel even more powerful. The tension was suffocating in the best way, the chemistry undeniable, and every twist pulled me deeper until I was completely lost in them.
Knowing this was the final chapter in the Beneath the Blaze made every moment hit harder. 4.5⭐️. Daddy Drago!! This book was literally everything I wanted for Drago & Lily! Their journey was full of so many emotions and I think that it perfect for the two of them. Definitely a slower burn, but the tension and chemistry between these two was perfection. It was hard to put down and that twist definitely threw me for a loop! I love how this series wrapped up, and if you have loved the other books in Beneath the Blaze, I think you’re going to love this one too!

I was in a major book slump so that’s why it took me so long to finish this, honestly I liked the book but it didn’t hold my attention as much as a 5/5 ⭐️ rating book would have done for me, hence why it took me so long to finish it
The chemistry b/t the MMC and the FMC was spicy but sometimes kinda cringy. I would consider their relationship build up extremely fast paced, but not in the typical way I would have liked.

WOW!!! What an end to this series and universe. Luna promised we were going out with a bang and boy did we ever!
Drago is every bit as obsessed and possive as any MMC written by Luna. His need to protect those he care about is huge and he will go to great lengths to make it happen. But underneath the rough exterior is a battle with his own demons and the loyalty he feels towards his best friend.
Lily’s story is beautifully written and its clear that Luna has spent a lot of time getting it just right. Having gone through something traumatic and living with the consequences of this isn’t easy. However Lily makes an effort in trying to find her peace and not let her past take over completely.
As Drago and Lily’s story unfolds its clear, that they find healing and strength in each other. They have an amazing chemistry and the tension between them is of the charts.
And of course their story wouldn’t be complete without a few twists and turns, along with a generous amount of spice.

What a way to end a series!
Lily and Drago's story is the final book in the Beneath the Blaze Series and honestly her writing just keeps leveling up with each book she writes! I'm devastated to leave this world, I love them so much
Lily is our trauamtized FMC girlie who is the best MH rep, especially when it comes to anxiety, panic attacks and fighting our demons.
Drago is the jack of all trades, lawyer, Bratva made man, bodyguard, protector, computer nerd and best of all, the one in the shadows that sees all.
Let's just say when Lily finally meets Drago for the first time, its DEFINITELY not the first time for Drago hehehehe

This book was beautifuly crafted together with emotion and love and protection
I should have known it would leave me like this as every single one of your books has this affect on me.
This is final book of the Beneath the Blaze series and girl you sent us out with fireworks what an ending to the series
Watching Lily and Drago grow together throughout the book was intense and emotional and heart wrenching at times but we needed this book.
This book broke me at 70% I was in a sobbing mess but in true luna style healed me through the rest of the book
I was fully invested into the story of Drago and Lily that at 50% I couldn't put it down I was hooked so much I read it till I finished it.
Luna delivered on the spice between Drago and Lily, it was hot had me blushing and a hot mess
It was lovely to see all the other characters from the universe in this book and the banter between all of them was amazing.
Saying goodbye to this series is like cutting out a piece of me, every single book had so much meaning to them but these books all lead to Enzo and he's going to break me beautifully when the time comes

Daddy Drago was 😘. I certainly called the plot twist super early in the book but it didn’t take away from the big ending. Also appreciated that the Drago vs Lev issue didn’t drag on forever. It was pretty quickly resolved and worked well with the pacing of the book.

I have been longing for this book! The minute I found out it was Drago’s story, I knew I had to have it. Luna Mason is indeed the queen of chaos. This book took me on a ride. It was addictive. The twists, the emotions, the chemistry between Drago and Lily, Drago’s past, everything about this book was just perfect. Thank you for the ARC, Valentine PR and Luna Mason.
This is the fifth and final book in the Beneath The Blaze series. While it’s an interconnected standalone, I’d suggest you read the previous books to get to love this book more. Also check trigger warnings before diving in as this one deals with heavy themes.
The search for the preacher continued in this book. The book opens with Lily searching for the man who saved her when she was a kid. Lily has been floating for the last five years, just trying to keep her head above water after a traumatic incident. What she doesn’t know is there has always been a man in the shadows, watching her and making sure she is always protected. Drago has been watching from a far, knowing if he got too close to Lily, he would never be able to stop the inevitable: making her his.
Drago’s story wrecked me in the best way. A man who has spent his entire life believing he’s undeserving of love, never truly belonging anywhere, living only for duty. He was supposed to be nothing more than the protector of his best friend’s daughter. Except it was never just that. His need to keep Lily safe turns into something consuming, fierce, and all encompassing. The kind of devotion that borders or obsession but in the way that makes your chest ache. He would burn the world down for her, no hesitation.
Drago is officially my favorite MMC. His devotion is consuming, the burn-the-world-down kind paired with being her quiet, steadfast hero when she needs him most. Lily is the one who finally shows him the future he deserves, one filled with love, warmth, and belonging.
And Lily, she shattered me. Seeing her pain on the page was heartbreaking, but watching Drago help her, hold her, and remind her she’s healed, was beautiful to see. She carries immense trauma while still fighting for a future filled with peace, safety, and love.

I was ALL the way in, until that fight happened and the chapters after it were so messy that it took me out of the story.
And I couldn’t be fully in anymore after all of this. What bothered me the most was that it was really really messy ?
The “after” fight spanned over liked 5/6 chapters, and EVERY chapter both of the MCs were changing their mind. One chapter it was like “I’m standing my ground, I’ll keep on with my decision” and not even a chapter after it “wait no I take back what I said, I want to come back on it !!”. Or “NO I don’t want to know/explain about it” and then “wait no I do want to know/explain (about) it”.
I understand that it was the author way of showing that the MCs are so obsessed with each other that they cannot stand to stay even such a small amount of time apart.
But still it was sooo soo messy and as reader we didn’t even know how to feel about all of it. Because the situation kept changing again and again every 5 pages.
Apart from it I really liked the couple, the MCs were interesting characters.
The MMC was far from your usual stereotypical mafia MMC in the sense that he was really really keen on doing everything and anything the FMC would ask of him. But I found that really cute and touching, it did felt good reading about a MMC whose whole personality isn’t just being grumpy and that’s about it.
The FMC grew as a character throughout the whole book, and I’m a sucker for character growth in my books. Also she wasn’t a pushover, was strong, endearing and kinda realistic? They were both good characters.
And I did felt happy reading about their happy ending and all, but I was really sad that I ended up soo unaffected about it all after the mess of the after fight.
As for the writing, it was good not all over the place. I did saw the plot twist coming a bit before it happened so I’m kinda proud of myself on this one. I will say that it’s kinda difficult following the story at times, if, like me, you dive into the series with this book. There was already so many characters and unfortunately a lot of them had similar enough names that it was difficult to remember which character is who and with who they are and all.
A good experience, could have been even better without the messy after fight part.
I was ALL the way in, until that fight happened and the chapters after it were so messy that it took me out of the story.
And I couldn’t be fully in anymore after all of this. What bothered me the most was that it was really really messy ?
The “after” fight spanned over liked 5/6 chapters, and EVERY chapter both of the MCs were changing their mind. One chapter it was like “I’m standing my ground, I’ll keep on with my decision” and not even a chapter after it “wait no I take back what I said, I want to come back on it !!”. Or “NO I don’t want to know/explain about it” and then “wait no I do want to know/explain (about) it”.
I understand that it was the author way of showing that the MCs are so obsessed with each other that they cannot stand to stay even such a small amount of time apart.
But still it was sooo soo messy and as reader we didn’t even know how to feel about all of it. Because the situation kept changing again and again every 5 pages.
Apart from it I really liked the couple, the MCs were interesting characters.
The MMC was far from your usual stereotypical mafia MMC in the sense that he was really really keen on doing everything and anything the FMC would ask of him. But I found that really cute and touching, it did felt good reading about a MMC whose whole personality isn’t just being grumpy and that’s about it.
The FMC grew as a character throughout the whole book, and I’m a sucker for character growth in my books. Also she wasn’t a pushover, was strong, endearing and kinda realistic? They were both good characters.
And I did felt happy reading about their happy ending and all, but I was really sad that I ended up soo unaffected about it all after the mess of the after fight.
As for the writing, it was good not all over the place. I did saw the plot twist coming a bit before it happened so I’m kinda proud of myself on this one. I will say that it’s kinda difficult following the story at times, if, like me, you dive into the series with this book. There was already so many characters and unfortunately a lot of them had similar enough names that it was difficult to remember which character is who and with who they are and all.
A good experience, could have been even better without the messy after fight part.

LUNA. This is hands down my favorite book of the series and just might be my favorite Luna Mason book of all time?!? I have been waiting patiently for Drago’s story and I was not at all disappointed. I am just OBSESSED with Lily and Drago. If you’re looking for intensity, obsessed, protectiveness, and forbidden love…this is the perfect book for you.
Drago is the MAN (of my dreams). He’s extremely protective and obsessive, but also respectful and makes Lily feel comfortable and powerful. Lily is so strong and honestly one of my favorite characters in this entire series. She goes through so much but comes out stronger than she already was. It was so beautiful reading how she regained the light she had lost. As a couple, these characters fit PERFECTLY together. They matched each other’s energy and I felt their love radiating off the pages.
The plot. The family drama. The side characters. Everything was just written perfectly. It was truly an incredible ending to this amazing series. I am so excited to read what Luna Mason writes next.

the last book in the beneath the blaze series, and we’re going out with daddy drago and a bang. also Luna set it up perfectly for what’s coming next with enzos duet, and giving us delicious crumbs of the sterling cowboys.
i love drago and lily. you feel their connection and love for each other. they show themselves vulnerable, not just lily, but also drago. and they heal with each other.
drago’s devotion to lily is everything. there is absolutely nothing this man wouldn’t do for her.

I can't tell you how excited I've been to read Drago's story. The man has been a mystery this whole time and has had me itching to get my claws into him. The whole story from start to finish was filled with lust, action, chaos, and obsession - I ATE IT UP!!
Out of all of the men in the Beneath the Blaze series, Drago is the most affectionate, sweetest, and caring man. Don't get me wrong he definitely knows how to be ruthless, but the way he fell for Lily made my heart melt. He protected her, treasured her, and loved her so unapologetically from the beginning and seeing the two of them grow closer as time went on, got me so giddy. He knew he was falling and he most certainly fell fast.
Lily is an absolute firecracker, she is beautifully sassy and knows exactly how to keep Drago on his toes. Lily had a traumatic past and continued to live through her pain without telling anyone for years; until Drago. You could practically feel Lily breaking inside, feeling trapped in her own head and being haunted by her past. Drago was there to comfort and protect her through it all, it honestly made my heart so happy the way he cared for her so deeply - their relationship just felt so right in every way, how their personalities complimented each other so well and how they could relate to each other's pain.
I'm sad to have finished this series, but boy it has been an absolute blast and some of the best mafia romances I've ever read. I'm now super excited to see what Luna has in store for us!!

After following Drago through Luna's other books it's finally Drago's time to shine and for us to find out why Luna nicknamed him Daddy Drago!
I was hooked by the time the first chapter was done and I could already tell this one would be emotional along with tension that you could cut with a knife.
The bond Lily & Drago share is a force of nature and it was beautiful to see them weather the storm while simultaneously healing together.
The ending was perfect and everything a gal could ask for not just in a book but also as a series finale.
Unfortunately for me though, the book was just too long for my liking leaving it feeling a bit emotionally repetitive. That's totally a me problem though and it shouldn't put you off reading!
I'm excited to see where Luna goes next especially with Enzo's duet on the horizon.

Instinct by Luna Mason absolutely wrecked me in the best way. I am not okay that the Beneath the Blaze series is officially over… but what a way to end it.
This book had everything I’ve loved about this series intensity, tension, loyalty, heat, and that deep, protective love that Luna writes so well. The chemistry was undeniable, the emotional stakes were high, and every single moment felt earned. I was kicking my feet one chapter and holding my breath the next.
The character growth in this finale? Chef’s kiss. You could feel how far everyone has come since book one. The love wasn’t just passionate it was powerful. Protective. Devoted. The kind that makes you believe in soul-deep connection.
And the ending? Satisfying without feeling rushed. Emotional without being messy. It wrapped up the series beautifully while still leaving me wishing I could live in this world forever.
I hate that it’s over… but I loved every second of it.

What a finish to this series!
Daddy Drago and Lily had a hot and heavy relationship with all the emotions. I was up, down, sad, then happy with this book. It was fun watching the story of The Preacher finally play out (not to brag but I guessed it right) and how everyone dealt with it.
Drago was so protective of Lily and I loved that he was in love with her for so long and was always looking after her. Drago was Lily’s comfort before she knew who he was, and I loved all their invisible strings pulling them together.

drago is a man made to a weapon. grumpy, always alert, always ready to protect. but really, he is truly and utterly obsessed with lily. the love he has for her since the beginning was so strong and beautiful 😩
the final showdown was epic, and you know i always love seeing the og's from earlier series 🥹
another thing i love, not just in this book but other luna's books, is how the men get to be vulnerable and struggle too. it's not just drago holding lily when she needs it, but she will hold drago too when he needs it ❤️🩹

drago is a man made to a weapon. grumpy, always alert, always ready to protect. but really, he is truly and utterly obsessed with lily. the love he has for her since the beginning was so strong and beautiful 😩
the final showdown was epic, and you know i always love seeing the og's from earlier series 🥹
another thing i love, not just in this book but other luna's books, is how the men get to be vulnerable and struggle too. it's not just drago holding lily when she needs it, but she will hold drago too when he needs it ❤️🩹

Drago.... This man. I will be honest, I don't know how old I thought he was, but he's around my age and I am insanely interested in having a man like him love me the way he loves Lily. Watching how he picked up her broken pieces and promised her, convinced her that she was still beautiful and lovable and worth everything gave me so much joy. How she got stronger and showed him he was worth love, happiness, and someone who should be chosen--heartbreakingly gorgeous. The conclusion of Beneath the Blaze and the takedown of The Preacher? Explosive and shocking in the best way. The love story and seeing the Quinns, the Twins and Drago with their Happily Ever Afters? Ugh. So good. Seriously, this is the kind of payoff you I for in a multi-book series. No notes.

I actually can’t believe this series is done, and what a story to end it with!!!
Daddy Drago is like top 10 “obsessed with me, can’t live without me, I’m his whole world, no one matters but me” man
This man treated Lily’s safety like he was guarding the Queen okay?? And of-course he fell in love with her without her actually being aware of his presence
and Lily… the way her panic attacks were written.. chefs kiss
the chemistry.. and the tension !!! I kinda forgot about the 10-year gap because it wasn’t even relevant
I won’t even get into the SPICE 🥵🥵
Doing it on a jetski - 10/10 fictional experience, would not recommend for real life
And I got to read along with my book bestie 🤭 so that made this even more fun
I’m ready for Enzo’s Duet 👀

If you’re a fan of Luna’s & have read the Beneath the Blaze series, than you know how much we wanted Daddy Drago’s story. I was so excited to finally have a day of rest to give this book my full attention & I was obsessed immediately! The watching, the pining, the love he had for Lily!! Swooooon!
The soft side of all of the Inferno men have for their women is top tier, but Drago’s soft side took the cake for me! 10/10, 5 stars, chefs kiss!
If you haven’t read the books within the Beneath Universe I highly recommend them starting with Jax in Distance, because more is coming & I am so here for it all!!

This was a great ending to a series, I didn’t expect to love Drago as much since I’m a Dr. Finn girly at heart but holy cow. This man was DOWN BAD for my girl Lilly. And honestly they deserve the world as well as each other. This book had the perfect amount of spice, plot, and twists to keep you on your toes. Their chemistry, stark contrast, attraction, and banter was everything I love in a Dark Mafia Romance.🤌🏼

Wow… what a beautiful end to an unforgettable series.
We meet Drago in Inferno and since then I have been so excited for him to get his forever love and wow was this worth the wait.
Lily and Drago’s love for each other was so well written and the way Luna wrote and described every feeling along the way.. I’m honestly speechless.
This movie was much darker than the other in this series because of the mental health topics. So definitely read the trigger warnings. But I think Luna handled it so well.
The twist really got me.. I thought I had an idea of what was happening and then nope I was completely taken by surprise!
If you want a beautiful ending to a beautiful series I highly recommend picking this up.
I can’t wait to see where this world continues to go.

This one is going to be hard to leave a review without spoilers 😉. I’m not sure what I expected but Drago and Lily definitely exceeded it. I love that he saved her and protected her for so long. From about 65% of the way in, I couldn’t put it down! I always enjoy found family and this was no different. I really love how all of Luna’s universes tie together. Decadence has been amazing and this was the perfect finishing touch to the series.
