It was normally not a problem given that most of the Sin Den's clientele was looking for entertainment of the male variety. Still, the hours were good and the tips large. Look but don't touch was easy...before her.
Janelle Love didn’t plan for this.
She could handle being dumped after a seven-year relationship. She could even handle coralling the other bridesmaids at her baby sister’s bachelorette party. But leaving without getting the attractive bartender’s number just might be her undoing. When a last minute change throws them back together, will she let the past keep her from a promising future?
This Valentine's Day novella is full of steam and heart just in time to heat up your holiday season!

"Sipping & Swooning" is book two in "A Sweet Heat Holiday Novella" series by Karmen Lee. Janelle is doing her sisterly duties and trying to be part of the bachelorette party, but it is at a club that she doesn't really want to be at. The only thing that is helping her through the night is the bartender, Alice. They talk throughout the night but don't get a chance to exchange information. Thinking they won't see each other again and missing an opportunity, they run into each other again, and it is nothing but fireworks. I really liked their attraction for each other. I also liked how Janelle's sister hooked her up. I did laugh out loud in a few spots. Karmen did a great job with this short read.
A quick sweet read. The instalove trope works here since it is such a short time frame and it is left to the reader’s imagination as to where and how the relationship progresses. The two main female characters are likable and adorable in their attraction.
I really enjoyed this quick, contemporary f/f romance! I thought it had a lot of emotion built in for being a short book. It was a sweet and steamy book that was nicely balanced.
Karmen Lee Sipping & Swooning (A Sweet Heat Holiday Novella Book 2)
Janelle had the pleasure of meeting Alice, a stunning woman, at a social gathering organized for her sister. Alice's beauty was undeniable, but she had a strict policy of not dating anyone from her workplace. Little did they know, their encounter would ignite a passionate Valentine's Day romance, filled with both sweetness and spice. These two remarkable women possessed intelligence, charm, and undeniable beauty. If you're seeking a sizzling holiday romance novel, look no further than this captivating tale. The author's writing prowess is simply extraordinary, seamlessly weaving together a story that will leave you completely enthralled. I wholeheartedly recommend this book, as it guarantees a delightful and exhilarating weekend read, perfectly balancing the sweet and the spicy.
4 stars. I thoroughly enjoyed this. It’s light, fluffy, fun, and very sexy. I liked both characters Jenna and Alice a lot and their chemistry was great right from the beginning. Definitely one of my favorites that I’ve read from Lee and I would recommend it if you want something quick with no angst, likable characters, and great spice.
All of her books are very enjoyable and full of 🔥🔥🔥🔥 the only problem I had was that it was so short, hopefully it will be another book that will continue and I'm not talking about a short one lol.
I really enjoyed Alice and Janelle’s meet cute. And the plot bunny that brought them back together was really creative. Janelle’s sister Kelly is really a wonderful sister. This is a sweet Valentine’s romance that was fun to read. #CMCon25
A quick, but very hot, erotic read. Bartender meets Maid of honor. Sparks fly. An ex shows up...you'll need to read to know for, sure what happens next.
This instalove trope just worked! It gave a well rounded storyline in such short pages. The chemistry was felt and the dialogue fit. I enjoyed the spice! The book was to the point and just perfect!
