Pucking Pregnant #5

Sincerely, Pack Pucked

Rate this book
They were my pen pals, and now I’m their pregnant omega…

For two years, we were confidants, but my online friends always felt out of reach. My anxiety could never compete with my curiosity and I always pushed them away when they were determined to finally meet me and reveal the identities of Pack Pucked.

It should have been easy, but life got in the way. Well, more like biology got in the way. Throwing a surprise heat into the mix sent me down a spiral of missed connections:

Two strangers.

Two missing numbers.

One ruined phone.

And one baby on board.

I was living on thin ice, unable to move forward with my life suddenly on hold. Pack Pucked were determined to help, but that wasn’t what I wanted.. Thankfully, they tracked me down, fitting the final pieces together when I thought they were gone for good because sometimes what we needed and what we wanted weren’t the same.

I might be pucked and pregnant, but if Saint, Percy, Jasper, and Devin had anything to say about it, this solo player was going to have a team behind her every step of the way.

Sincerely Pack Pucked is the fifth book in the Pucking Pregnant series and is in the same universe as the Pucking Alphas series. Although each book is a standalone, they should be read in order.

Loved the premise.

This was almost all spice.

I kept waiting for the conflict, but there was none. That just ended up with me being annoyed with the FMC because she was the only thing bugging me. She's like every other FMC that Melissa writes. Won't eat a vegetable, a sassy brat, but shy and not use to male attention.

A quick read.

I absolutely LOVED this book! From internet pen pals to the surprise heat to building the pack! There was nothing I didn’t love! It was sweet, cozy and SPICY!
They got to know each other anonymously and knew there was no other motives besides actually loving each other and they completed each other perfectly.

This was such a sweet and cozy Omegaverse book. I absolutely loved it!

This was a great story. It was cozy and sweet, but still plenty steamy as expected in an Omegaverse book.Mable is honestly one of the most adorable Omega characters ever written. She is super shy and a definite introvert, so she struggled with making connections. I love her with the men of Pack Pucked though. They are equally adorable and totally smitten with her. They were super supportive and sweet and this was just the perfect feel good Omegaverse story that was all about the connections between Mable and her alphas.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the story.

Can't pick a favourite

I honestly can not pick a favourite in this series. But this one, this one is near the top. Such a cute concept of being pen pals before meeting, and the meet cute itself is absolutely adorable. No angst, no drama, just a devoted pack to a very pregnant omega. It was an easy read when I was starting to slump. Absolutely incredible, I highly recommend.

Sincerely, Pack Pucked: 4 ★ | Finished | Easy to follow writing style | Loveable characters | Decent plot | Intriguing premise | Fun reading experience

The plot was pretty mediocre for an Omegaverse book, but I didn’t really mind. As long as it gives me a sweet story with comfy writing and lovable characters.

Sweet, cosy and a plot you’re gonna love. This is probably one of my favourite “meet cutes”…. being pen pals 😍 how bloody adorable.

This whole storyline was so fun and cute, I loved all the characters. The way their relationship had already been built over messages, to then see them adapt to actually in person was great.

There is no OW drama, no third act breakup and it’s MFMMM.

Thank you to Melissa for the ARC.

“The omega I had been dreaming of for months, since I had met her in the showers, was standing right in front of me.”

Melissa Huxley can do no wrong. I just finished Sincerely, Pack Pucked and you guys… I DEVOURED this in less than a day. I literally could not put it down 😭🔥

No one writes Omegaverse like Melissa. She gives you all the tension, all the claimy alpha energy, all the sweetness, and all the spice — wrapped up in the most addictive stories. And her alphas? Down. Bad. Like embarrassingly obsessed in the best way.

This book follows Mable, an omega who joins a chatting app that connects unmated omegas with potential packs. She’s been talking to the same pack for two years but never exchanged real info because she’s shy and anxious about meeting in person.

Then her life does a full 180.

One day Mable gets hit with a surprise heat spike in public, runs into the rink to cool down, and ends up being helped by a ridiculously attractive alpha in the showers. Later that day, another heat spike hits her at the store, and another sweet alpha helps her home and takes care of her.

Chaos. Hormones. Mystery men. Loved every second 😂

Fast forward and Mable discovers she’s pregnant — but she has no way to contact either alpha. She only tells the pack she’s been chatting with, and even then she refuses to meet them face to face… until one of them recognizes where she is.

And when they show up?
She realizes the two alphas she never forgot are right there — part of the pack she’s been talking to all along.
The STARS aligned for this girl 😭😭✨

I could seriously gush forever about this book. It hit every single Omegaverse craving and gave me everything I wanted. Melissa Huxley is that girl in this genre.

Now I have no idea what to read next because this one ruined me in the best way.

4 - ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sincerely, Pack Pucked is the fifth instalment in the adult why choose sports omegaverse series, Pucking Pregnant. Each novel follows a separate couple but exists in the same world so you can read them in any order. Written in multi first person POV the story follows Mable, a college omega student and barista who finds herself stuck in a sticky situation when her heat arrives unexpectedly. Fortunately she is serviced by two charming alphas that she is drawn to...except she loses their contact information by accident after the fact. What she doesn't know is that these two alphas happen to be part of the pack she has been anonymously speaking to through the school's text app. When everything collides Mable must decide if she is willing to embrace this pack that is so eager to have her in their life or will nerves keep her back from what might be the best thing in her life?

This was so cute!

Mable is the kind of omega that is fun to explore. She's not fully confident in her designation thanks to her family and she holds herself back as a result. She needs love and adoration to help her unravel and those men know exactly what to do.

The pack consists of Saint, Percy, Jasper, and Devin. Saint and Percy are the two she initially meets unknowingly and they were so quickly drawn to her. Saint is a well known hockey player who has desperately wanted to meet the female he has been messaging for two years but has accepted he will only have this small piece of her. Percy is more academic focused and I loved how hooked he became. Devin is the leader of the group and puts a lot on his shoulders to protect them and Mable. Jasper is probably MVP for me as the one who attempted to bridge the gap the most with the anonymous girl and I loved how sweet he was.

In terms of spice I would place this book at 5 spicy peppers out of 5 spicy peppers. There are approximately 9 spicy scenes in this book with the first appearing around 4%. The spice includes heat scenes, plenty of fluids, knotting, phone sex, and multi partner scenes. This is why choose so the focus is on Mable and the men do not engage in sexual relationships with each other. It starts off with one on one spice and slowly escalates to more. I found the spice worked for this and it was pretty fun!

The story itself is low tension and high spice. Mable lacks confidence in some regards and is just trying to make it through her college year. As they begin navigating their relationship further we see tension on how to make pack life work when all the men are hockey players that travel and they have a pregnant omega who can't necessarily travel alongside them. I loved seeing the guys fight to make things work and the adoration they gave Mable in the process because she is so used to doing things on her own and she struggles a bit to accept help. Sometimes the guys make mistakes but boy do they do what they can to fix it. The second half of the book does slow things down a bit but it is still a good time. The ending is really sweet.

Overall, a fun spicy omegaverse! I have been eating this series up!

Cookie cutter in both main storyline and errors

This series is most notably consistent in both the extreme similarities from book to book and the plethora of minor but obvious errors. It's unfortunate because the author has decent ideas but never seems to live up to her own potential.

In this story we have Mable, a young woman who suggests a past that has left her closed off, shy, excessively introverted and scared of in person relationships. We never learn what her past experience was that has left her so averse to dating but she hints at something doomish multiple times. She's not a bad FMC really. She seemingly supports herself (despite her mother being alive, well, and a supportive family member), is relatively smart and pursuing a college degree (in plants? Botany maybe? It's very unclear and she makes a derogatory comment about her own programs value which pissed me right off), and isn't a total pushover most of the time. She's not the quickest or most logical but she is decent.

The guys are... Ok I suppose? Well, in fairness, Devin and Percy are pretty solid guys - responsible adults, caring, reliable and holding themselves to high standards. Jasper and Saint are exceptionally childish in all ways; they're nice enough but act more like children greedy for a new toy (Mable) than adults looking for a respectful relationship.

There are very few interactions with people outside of the main characters, mostly the guys security team. There is practically zero on page female support beyond approximately 2 pages of her mom. Even Bethany who is an ideal bestie option is only mentioned in passing, like the thread tying the series together instead of an integral female role.

The story is a mess of dropped plot threads, a hint of menace to come (honestly, the soundtrack would be dumdumdummmmm for 2/3 of the story if they put this on screen), and typos galore. What happened with the girl from Percy's class? What made these beefy guys so afraid of female fans? What happened in Mable's past (both her father and past relationship attempts)? Why is Chase so mysterious and how come Bear and Spencer are more interesting to me than the actual MMCs?

Again, in fairness, it's not an awful book. It just feels like the author has written too many omegaverse hockey books that are too similar at this point.

This was a quick, sweet read.
MFMMM

Possible SPOILERS below this point.

There’s literally no conflict in this book so if you want something sugary sweet - I highly recommend.

I would have liked to see some conflict after Mable seen the pictures during the hockey game at least. As well as actually know which of the two alphas ended up getting her pregnant. I get that they’re all the daddies at the end of the day but with Devin’s hesitance for the split second it was there, it would have made sense to make it known which one was the biological father. The missing epilogue was also a bummer for me - although the last two chapters did feel like a teaser of an epilogue so I can’t complain too much.

I really really love the whole pen pal concept and love that more and more authors are doing this - hopefully it becomes more of a trope because I love seeing a distanced relationship build into something in-person and more. It’s the whole “it’s always been you” that I love.

Also, it was a little weird that Saint and Percy jumped in and helped her during her heat even though they’ve been pining for “Maple” their pen pal and never thought once about her while they were tangled up with the actual Mable. I know it was reiterated that they didn’t want to put hope into someone that might not be real but idk it kind of rubbed me wrong that they didn’t feel a bit remorseful? Even Devin knew this all happened and when “Maple” said she was pregnant it was “I thought you weren’t dating.” Okay but your pack mates could screw other people? Lol

Although the FMC was similar to previous FMC’s, I did like that it didn’t feel overboard with her shyness. I’m an introvert and a relatable character is always nice - sometimes they’re written OTT but honestly I really liked Mable. And that’s saying something because I don’t usually like FMC’s 🥲

I do wish there were more but because it was really good and I didn’t want it to end yet. 🫶🏼

I honestly hope this series has 20 more books, I’ve liked all of them so far.🥰

2.5 stars, rounded up. I've read all of the books in this series and they are really hit or miss for me. Unfortunately, "Sincerely, Pack Pucked" was a miss.

This book is mostly vibes with little at stake. Mable, the omega, unexpectedly goes into heat and sleeps with both Saint and Percy (note: I find it weird that she randomly encounters two separate strangers from the same pack, sleeps with both of them, and neither of them thought to use protection? what?!). It turns out that the two men belong to the same pack she's been pen pals with for ~2 years, along with Devin and Jasper. The men use one of her pen pal photos to find her at a coffee shop and realize that their online friend is real life pregnant with their baby (at this point, that's the last we hear of the pen pal arc, which could have definitely been mined for a stronger emotional connection between the pack). This all accounts for the first 30% of the book, the rest is just vibes as the pack spends more time together and Mabel eventually has the baby.

The writing itself isn't bad but there are some details that the author misses that would give this book a higher rating. For example, we know that all four men are professional athletes but it seems to be a plot device rather than a real profession that takes most of their time. Like, why are Percy and others taking classes at the university during hockey season? Did they skip college and go right into the NHL but still want degrees? That would at least make me feel better about them dating a likely 21-year-old Mable. Also, we don't really get a full sense of Mabel's personality other than she's a hard worker, is kind of shy, and likes plants. None of these things are vital to the main storyline but these small disjoint parts of the story add up to make the whole story less believable.

I really love the "you've got mail" trope (i.e. the couple knows each other in real life but doesn't realize they are also pen pals) but there were too many unbelievable plot points and not enough tension in the storyline for me to really enjoy this book.

I know it isn’t for everyone, but I love an accidental pregnancy story. I also love omegaverses. That’s one of the reasons I really enjoy the Pucking Pregnant series by Huxley. This was one of my favorites so far. As someone who met their spouse online, I adore the concept of having online pen pals that develops into more. I could absolutely relate to the slow progress from app messaging to texts to voice messaging. I thought this was a fun, sweet accidental pregnancy story with an omega that is trying to figure everything out and a pack of sweet, rambunctious, pack of hockey players that want to do whatever they can to take care of an omega in need, even before they realize who the father of her child is. This book has low angst, and the biggest issues come from not knowing the identity of the online pen pals. This is one of those books I read when I just want some coziness mixed with a lot of spice, fun banter and alphas that care a whole lot for their omega.

The characters in this book really just made me smile. The FMC, Mable, is a college student that was raised by a single beta mom, so she is used to taking care of things on her own. I thought that the fact that her main social connection was the online pen pals was cute. The way that the conversed through messages was one of my favorite things. The alphas were all hockey players but all very different. Devin is the leader and caretaker. Jasper is the sweet, lovable one. Saint is the kind of wild one that the puck bunnies love. And then there’s Percy, the one that wanted to be able to go to school while being an NHL player. Their connection is great and they are the perfect combination.

This is one of those omegaverses you read when you just want to smile and enjoy the love of this pack. As most omegaverses, there is plenty of spicy scenes to enjoy, especially with a surprise heat from the start. This book reads fairly quickly, and it is worth picking up if you need to just read a sweet omegaverse about an omega and the alphas that worship her.

I don't know what Melissa puts in her stories, but I am absolutely addicted to them...

So we have our fmc Mable. I love her and everything she represents. She is an omega who is highly independent, living her life, very quiet and shy and doesn't speak to alphas unless she has to, but her pen pals are all alphas and she loves chatting with them. Our mmc's are Devin, Saint, Percy, and Jasper. These beautiful men are everything. Devin is Pack Lead and is extremely caring of his pack mates. At times, though, he can be a little prickly. Saint is very charming, and all the girls are obsessed with him. Percy loves hockey, but his degree is very important to him. Jasper is just a flirt and such a sweet and caring alpha. They all are, to be honest.

The plot was the sweetest. When Mable's heat starts randomly, two very lovely alpha's help her through it. It turns out that those two alphas are two of her penpals that she cares for deeply. I love how their relationship progressed and evolved at their own pace, even though they had been pen pals for so long previous to this beautiful turn of events. The guys were all so attentive towards Mable and were obsessed with her before they met her in person. They gave her the room to breathe and the opportunity to just be her plant loving and a little sassy self.

I could go on and on, but I dont want to spoil it for anyone. Just know, it was amazing and so worth the read.

Thank you so much to Melissa and your incredible team for the opportunity to read this story. I am forever grateful 🙏

I love Melissa Huxley’s OVs, especially her Pucking pregnant series. She right such wonderful characters, they always manage to capture my heart!

This one was a light and enjoyable read. I liked Mable and her alphas, and it was nice getting glimpses of Bethany and Jensen.

I LOVED Spencer, so I hope he gets a book next. 😄

There were a few plot lines that seemed to get mentioned and built up, and then never resolved or didn’t actually play a role (omega classmate of Percy’s, need for increased home security, Saint’s fan interactions). It felt like a collection of individual scenes at times, rather than a fully flowing story. There wasn’t really a big conflict or tension that needed to be resolved, at least after the anonymity piece ended early in the book. So it was more ‘slice of life’ style.

Also, I was very much not sold on how she lost Percy’s number. It didn’t make sense to me and confused me. If her phone was ruined, how did she not lose all her contacts and need to buy a new phone? If she did, why wasn’t that mentioned or a stressor for her? How did she not lose her group chat with Pack Pucked? It didn’t work logically for me. Could have been he wrote it on a piece of paper that she then put through the laundry.

But despite all that, it was a lovely, feel good, spicy OV romance. I enjoyed reading it and I loved the characters. Devin definitely grew on me. I struggled with Percy’s personality, as I kept picturing him like Percy Weasley 🤣, and Spencer’s too, as I’d just read Dream Pack by Jane Handler, whose Spencer is a VERY different character 😄. But I still loved them.

I recommend this whole series!

I adored everything about this book!!

Mable is our Omega and she has been talking to a pack of Alpha’s who she met 2 years on an app she had to download for one of her classes. She knows them as Pack Pucked, and each of them just by an initial… S, J, D and P and they know her as Mapel, no names or photos have ever been exchanged.
Not that her penpals have never asked to meet her, they have multiple times but Mable always says no. She has some insecurities and thinks she’ll disappoint them and she wants them to stay in her life.

When Mable unexpectedly goes into Heat she finds herself in the showers at the ice rink trying to cool down but stumbles on an Alpha who helps her through her heat spike. Later when out for supplies another spike hits and she finds another Alpha willing to help her out.

Some weeks later Mable finds herself pregnant and no way of contacting the two Alphas who helped her.
With no real support Mabel tells her pen pals of her pregnancy and they are so supportive, but also more adamant to meet her than ever.

Jasper, Saint, Devin and Percy aka Pack Pucked have decided they will find the Omega they have all
Been obsessing over for 2 years when they find out she’s about to be a single mum. They have a hard time finding a woman who wants them for them what with their NHL careers but Mapel doesn’t know who they really are, she likes them for them.

When Mabel sends them a photo that shows the coffee shop she’s at Jasper rushes there to meet her finally. Mabel is shocked to see Jasper and even more so when she see’s some familiar faces when the rest of his pack arrive.

I loved the relationship between them all through their app chats and banter between the guys. They are so supportive of their Mapel girl.

(I think Jasper was my favourite lol)

Mable works hard, keeps to herself, and lives a quiet life. She's friendly, but shy, so she doesn't have close friends. However, she does have pen pals from Pack Pucked. What started as a class project developed into a friendship, lasting two years. But a surprise heat changed everything. Mable got help from two Alphas, strangers, and now she's expecting a baby. Pack Pucked offered their help, but Mable can't accept it...until her two worlds collide.

I really enjoyed the premise of this story. The idea of knowing parts of someone so well without knowing them at all and then having to reconcile everything you know with a new reality was interesting to me. So complicated, and yet so simple. I think the pen pal relationship knowledge could have been leaned into even more as the book progressed. The Pack had 2 years of an inside track into Maple; they could have taken advantage of. This was incredibly low angst. I would have liked a conflict or at least a speed bump. There were a couple of situations that could have been blown up to create conflict. I love the delayed satisfaction. There were also several easter eggs thrown in; I assume for future books, and I would have preferred more subtle references or at least a follow-up mention - for example, the classmate in danger from a stalker and the security guard.

No one writes a cozy pregnancy story like Melissa does. I can't get enough. Each one is entertaining and sweet. Just don't cut corners for spice and neglect the story.

I’ve read plenty of her books, so I’m not here to complain about the rinse and repeat formula that omegaverse tends to lean on. Sometimes I’m completely fine with that because I know exactly what I’m signing up for.

AND maybe I’m taking this one a little personally, because studying botany as a major is not some cute, easygoing subject. No biology based major is even remotely passive. Between the 12+ hours of lab work every week and not even mentioning the pre-recs like genetics and micro biology you need just to move forward into actual plant science, yeah… it’s definitely not a “fun and simple” college major.

So I ended up DNFing bc as someone who cried in Plant Morphology while trying to understand the vast concept of algae evolution. And along with the semester spent collecting 150 native species to persevere then only to find out the plant you spent 4 hours collecting and identify by slicing TINY little ovaries open!! is sitting on the lab bench the next week and is eliminated from your collection … yeah I couldn’t let that little fictional detail slide this time.

I was willing to suspend disbelief with her not having ole dudes phone number saved in her phone and then washing her cellphone and loosing all her numbers….

I guess I draw the line at down playing 3 years of busting my ass. But hey I can identity that wild flower on the side of the road going 80 mph and won’t die from eating the wrong berries if ever stranded in a school bus.

Will read more of her books tho.

Plain and simple I loved this book. It has you pulled in from the start and it gives us everything that Melissa Huxley does so well, a cosy and sweet omegaverse, that has you screaming at the pages like just open up more to them, tell them about the guy, just please arrange to meet LOL. But where would the fun be in that. This book delivers on the sweetness, the pack male dynamics and has that spice.

Mable is the sweet adorable omega, who is shy and struggles with connecting with others and through a university pen pal system she gets talking to pack pucked. Two years on and Mable has not met these alpha’s, they are her confident close enough to confide in but still far enough out of reach. For them she is their everything and all they want is more but they know that they may never get what they want, as they know how her mind works.

An unexpected heat brings two alphas in her path, and leads her to do something that she normally doesn't do. Two alpha’s two separate times leaves her an every lasting memory of her heat – she is now a pregnant alone omega with no way to touch base with the alphas. She confides in her pen pals of what is going on and the support they show her is endearing. They may not have met but they are willing to do what they need to help her. A posted picture leads one of her pen pals to find her and then the rest of his pack follows suit, a chance that leads Mable to meet her pen pals and also puts her face to face with the two alphas.

The Maple Power Play

Melissa Huxley has such a brilliant, creative mind! I absolutely adore all her books, but the Pucking Pregnant series has completely claimed my heart and soul.

Maple started chatting with “PackPucked” for a communication class two years ago, and what began as an assignment quickly turned into a deep bond through the ChattyPack app. When an unexpected heat puts her in the path of two alphas who come to her aid during separate heat-induced encounters, Maple ends up single… and pregnant.

Here’s the twist, the two alphas who helped her? They’re part of PackPucked! Talk about a shock for everyone involved. As the group continues texting and sending voice messages, sparks fly, and soon the four delectable hockey players can’t resist the pull toward their “Maple Girl.” 🍁

PackPucked is made up of four sexy NHL players: Devin the leader of the pack and a total health nut who watches over everyone’s well-being.Percy the studious, grounded one who balances the chaos.Saint the utterly irresistible trouble magnet with a knack for drawing in wild women. Jasper the golden retriever man-child who lights up every scene.

I loved how their scents complemented one another and tied perfectly into the theme. This book had me grinning, blushing, and cheering for the Maple Girl and her hockey pack from start to finish!

“Why were there no cookies left?”

Mable is an omega and a college student working at a coffee shop. On the way home from work one day, she has a surprise heat which leads to a surprise pregnancy.

The previous books in this interconnected standalone series were better, but this one is still cute and fluffy with very low stakes. If you're craving a surprise pregnancy story, this may do the trick. I don't think this hockey team has another story left in it, but there was a very brief moment that opened up an avenue for Ms. Huxley to start a series about bodyguards, which I would definitely read. It wasn't very heavy-handed, but it did stand out as not having much to do with the rest of the story

The relationship is the plot. This book is mostly focused on relationship development, which was well done. Sometimes the pace feels a little slower and sometimes faster. Nothing too far in either direction.

Only the female main character has much of her history explained. There isn't much in the way of character development for the male characters, and we learn nothing much about their histories, but they do all have distinct personalities. Mostly. Mable is just a touch naive about her omega status and the Alphas also have some learning to do.

There were some minor grammatical errors that spell check wouldn't have caught, but they were easily ignored and the writing was engaging.

Sometimes you really need a low angst read and boy did this book deliver when I needed it to! I loved sweet sweet Mable. I adored that her scent matched her adorable demeanor! And the nickname was just on-the-nose perfection. The modern pen pal situation is so cute. I loved their anonymous start and the sweet relationship they developed before any face-to-face meeting ever happened! Their messages to each other were so sweet and I loved how it played later in their relationship as well!

I’m a sucker for a pack with scents that are themed and this one is so fun!!! I don’t want to spoil it but it is definitely Maria approved!

I was gifted a copy of this book by the author. My opinions are my own. Thank you!

Poor sweet Mable hasn't had any luck in the dating department. She's shy, awkward, and only knows the basics of being an Omega. When school forced her to download an app she began chatting with four men going only by Pack Pucked and their initials.

Marble went by Maple on the app as it WA easy being so close to her name and also her scent. After chatting for over a year she was still too afraid to actually meet the men.

Then her body staged an intervention by throwing her into an unexpected heat where she found herself being knotted by not just one but two Alphas who were strangers. The first she only knows his scent and the second a name but she loses contact information.

This is a sweet and fun meet cute with unexpected pregnancy. The men want to be there long before they know the baby in question is theirs. I loved watching how each of these men provided for their Omega.

I loved the pen pal aspect so they really knew a lot about each other prior to them finally meeting. The shock of realizing both of those "random" men were in a pack and the one's you've been talking to was so fun.

This story was everything my romance-loving heart needed and more! From the very first page, I was sucked in by the unique twist of pen pals turned fated packmates, and the journey that unfolded was both tender and absolutely addictive. The author blended humor, heartache, and the swooniest moments into a perfect balance that kept me smiling, tearing up, and cheering the whole way through.

The miscommunications, the lost connections, and that one little baby twist gave the story such depth and vulnerability while still keeping it light and hopeful. Saint, Percy, Jasper, and Devin are each so distinct and lovable, and the way they came together for their omega felt natural, supportive, and oh-so romantic. The found family vibe wrapped around me like a warm hug, and I couldn’t get enough.

If you’re looking for a read that delivers charm, heartfelt emotion, and all the pack-bonded swoon you could ask for, this is it. Sweet, tender, and full of love….you’ll be pucked right along with them in the best way possible. This one’s going straight to my favorites shelf!

From Pen Pals To Forever

From beginning to end I just loved every aspect of this book. One of my favorite parts though, was the fact that Mable and her guys truly fell for each other online, without looks ever really being a part of it. The whole chain of crazy coincidental events that led to them being linked together in parenthood was so wild, but watching the guys happily step up for her & their child was just so amazing. Mable had to learn to accept help, and the guys had to learn how to find a work/life balance so that Mable wouldn’t feel like an afterthought. An amazing omegaverse with the kind of trope that you just don’t see that often (after years of corresponding with no pictures & falling halfway in love with each other, pen pals accidentally meet the girl in real life & get her pregnant without realizing it was her), but if they could all be this good, then I’d be down for lots more stories similar to this one lol. You’ll absolutely adore all the characters, and love watching their journey to parenthood & pack life together. Can’t wait for more in this series ❤️

sugary confection

This book was sugary sweet. It had a fair amount of heat, especially towards the end where all that seemed to be happening was sex. Dull, boring, hard to get through sex scenes.

Unlike the other books in this series, there is almost no interaction between characters other than the main pack. Mable had two scenes with her mom during the whole book. Why even write her mom into the book? The scenes could easily be removed and nothing in the book found wanting. Then there were the guys. They were obsessed with Mable’s security to the point of having a Security system set up for her dorm room, ignoring the simplest solution of having her move into the penthouse. Instead, the security system gets installed and within a week she’s living in the penthouse with the guys.

All in all, had any of the other books in this series read like this one, I likely wouldn’t have made it to the 5th book in the series. As it is, I’m done with the series whether more books come out in it or not. This set has run its course.

One of the most unique meet cute in Omegaverse❤️

I love the concept of a pen pal and the way it is integrated in this book gives the story such an interesting and smooth way for the pack to explore their relationship, i had the best time reading their group messages, the banter and complicity was so good!

But of course it is such a mind blowing experience because imagine talking for two years with someone that you only knows through messages forming the most amazing connection and suddenly they fall into your lap but what do you do? Start over again ignoring the fact that you’re are pretty much in love “platonically”? Oh and did I mention that she’s pregnant? It’s tricky but they manage it like champs!

I really loved Garnett pack, they were so sure of what they want it and were so supportive of Mable every single step of the way!

This was an amazing read, as always with Melissa’s books… the characters are charming, the story addictive and the HEA leaves you with a smile!

Sincerely, Pack Pucked is a new book by Melissa Huxley. It is the 5th book in the Pucking Pregnant series but it is a standalone. Mable is on her own trying to finish her college degree. For a class, she started corresponding with a pack on-line. After two years, they have stayed in contact but Mable has not wanted to take the next step to meet in person.

One day, Mable unexpectedly goes into heat and comes across two separate alphas that help her for a short time. She loses their contact information so she can’t reach out later. Several weeks later, instead of finding out she has the flu, she finds out that she is pregnant.

Will she ever run into those two alphas again? How will her pen pales react when they find out she is pregnant? Will she ever have the courage to meet them in person?

This was another great story by Ms. Huxley. I definitely identified with Mable. Go read this book for yourself.

If you start this book, be willing to have a block of time to read it! I sat down and read this in one afternoon! I couldn't help but read this book voraciously until the end. I didn't want to leave these characters as they navigated the new relationships as well as a surprise pregnancy. This book was low angst, full of emotions, and a HEA.
Mabel, Devin, Saint, Jasper, and Percy were adorable all together. I enjoyed getting to see their relationships unfold via text/chats. It was very endearing as it was how my personal story unfolded so I was able to really empathize with Mabel in all the embarrassment and anxiety in the newness and uncertainty. This book is spicy in the best ways and yet so tasteful.
This book is one I will recommend over and over again! Every time I read something written by Melissa Huxley, I think the newest book is my favorite. But then she writes something else and the new book becomes my favorite.
