About the author

My first book was published in 1984 when I was 12. Why are you laughing? Since then I've published 16 books and 2 novellas: two Regencies originally written as Jane Lynson, one paranormal romantic suspense as Paula Christopher and everything else as Lynn Michaels. My husband Michael warned me never to dedicate a book to him, so instead I stole his name for my pseudonym.

Michael and I have 2 grown sons and 1 grandson. We live in Harry Truman's hometown, Independence, Missouri.

I will be the first to admit Rockstar romances are not my favorite trope. With that in mind Lynn did a great job in balancing their two swperate lives that eventually they found the right way to combine. Matty is a sweet ray of light who deserves a daddy who appreciates him as he is and Drake once he gets his head out of his bum is that right daddy for him. It was nice to see their growth throughout and how well Matty fit in with Drake and his band mates. A fun addition to this years collection of daddy's for Christmas.

Matty is furious — his Daddy, Drake, is heading off to Miami to chase rock‑star fame, leaving Matty and Vegas behind right before Christmas. Matty refuses to accept being abandoned during the holidays, especially by the man who’s supposed to be there for him. Drake, meanwhile, believes Matty deserves more than a grumpy, overwhelmed Daddy. His band has finally been discovered, and the opportunity of a lifetime means relocating… but the thought of leaving Matty behind feels wrong. He’s already half in love with the bright, irresistible boy who has him wrapped around his finger — even if Matty hasn’t quite realised it yet. As Christmas approaches, both men must decide what they truly want: Drake’s rising career, Matty’s need for closeness, and whether they can build a life together on the road. Their grumpy/sunshine dynamic, rock‑star chaos, and deep affection lead them toward the only ending that makes sense — a loving, festive HEA.

This was a sweet Christmas story. I loved that Matty’s frustration wasn't just about Christmas it’s about wanting to be claimed, chosen, and prioritised and Drake’s hesitation wasn't disinterest but fear of not being enough, or being too much. Their love required honesty about what they want, even when it feels risky to say it out loud. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.
