1915 deciding she would be a better candidate for the mayor Spot. Then the drunken one that was running. A funny look at a plot when a woman decides to do something, back then total unheard of, for a woman to run for office. Readers will enjoy this funny story and how it turns out.
1916. She love's the ranch, doing what needs to be done, hard work and loving it. One aristocrat son has to work for a year, thinking it would be an easy desk job, not working on a ranch. Worse yet, with a fiery woman. Delightful and readers will enjoy.
1918 she loved writing dime novels, and made a fortune doing so. Then comes one good looking guy set out to find the person who damaged the image of his grandfather,. Did she know when she used the name Rawhide Crawford was this person.or was it just local lore. Tempers fly and makes a good read for the readers.
A Vote of Confidence centers around Gwen. Raised in the east she came to Bethlehem Springs to get to know her dad and her twin sister Cleo. Finding Bethlehem Springs to be a warm, friendly community she stayed and now wonders if perhaps she couldn't make a good mayor for her special community. Morgan is trying to build a health spa, but he keeps running into difficulty with the local authorities. Perhaps he should run for mayor so he could make the changes needed for his spa. Fit to Be Tied centers around twin sister Cleo, who is more at home in Levis and cowboy boots than she will ever be in a fancy dress. She enjoys working on the ranch with her father, but would love to find that special someone that accepts her for herself. Lord Sherwood is sent to Bethlehem Springs by his father to make a man out of him. He has no intention of staying in America any longer than is absolutely necessary, but Cleo is unlike anyone else he has ever met. The final book in the Sisters of Bethlehem Springs series centers on Daphne, Morgan's sister, who has come to Bethlehem Springs and fallen in love with it's people and scenery. Daphne is hiding a secret from her family and friends that she is sure would bring embarrassment to them if they knew. Joshua has come to town looking for DB Morgan, author of cheesy dime novels that have maligned his grandfather's good name. Robin Lee Hatcher has created a wonderful place in Bethlehem Springs and some charming and lovable characters. I enjoyed my escape into the lives of the Arlingtons and McKinleys. I wish there were a fourth novel to take me back to that delightful place and time!
3-in-1 Set in Idaho in early 1900s. Excellent stories!
All three stories in this collection were full of history, faith, fun and of course, romance! It was fun to see how the romance played out in each story, with surprises and twists and turns, and each character grew in their life and faith, as well. Robin Lee Hatcher did an excellent job in capturing my interest as I read them straight through!
I loved all of the characters in all books. Each story was well written with love, family, excitement and their love of God. I found it hard to put the books down. Loved them all.
