Faery Queen: A Fae of Andell Prequel Novella

Rate this book
Welcome to Andell - the Fae Realm where the Seelie Queen and Unseelie King reign supreme. Humans, when allowed within the bounds of this wonderous place, are kept merely as pets. But when Seelie Fae, Ailsa, stumbles across a vulnerable human in need she cannot seem to walk away and leave them to their fate. The consequences, she knows, will be great indeed, but she disobeys all of her instincts to obey her heart. Heavily inspired by Queen Elizabeth I of England and her favorite, Robert Dudley, this sweet romantic story is a prequel to the Fae of Andell series and will set the scene for future books to come.

Everyone needs a Sweet Robin the Rhymer in their lives! When Princess Ailsa feels compelled to help ‘the mortal’ and take him to the Faery Realm all manner of interesting repercussions occur.
This prequel novella was written with wit and charm, and a good dose of medieval history, including the rivalry between royal sisters. Very well researched.
