About the author

After 36 years wrangling elementary students and mastering the art of glitter control, I traded my classroom keys for a laptop and began my second act as a writer. I’ve been scribbling poems and stories for family and friends for as long as I can remember.

I live in Arkansas with my husband and our neurotic cat, who cries uncontrollably when I am not where he thinks I should be; on the sofa next to him (my cat, not my husband!). When I’m not writing, you’ll find me working in my flowerbeds, playing pickleball like it’s the Olympics, or enjoying the peace and quiet I never had during recess duty. I have two grown kids who turned out great despite being raised by a teacher.

I challenge anyone to start this book and put it down before you finish reading it! With twists and turns in a plot involving the cartel, sisters Sarah and Emily are in for an adventure they never imagined they would face.
Knowing the author and her family and in-laws it was kinda funny to see some of the character's names and personalities.
Take it to the beach but be sure to take a big umbrella because once you start reading you are not going to want to stop!
I promise you, you'll feel guilty if you don't get this book today and read it.
