Une histoire qui serait mieux à regarder en film ou en série qu’à lire, mais qui reste un joli passe-temps

Curieusement, je ne m’attendais pas du tout à une histoire comme celle-ci. Elle est sympa mais elle ne correspond pas vraiment au résumé du livre, malgré tout agréable à lire.

I have such a deep love for Asian literature. I always find these stories comforting, filled with warmth and gentleness.
This novel revolves around a rather unusual bakery that opens at 11 p.m. and closes at 9 a.m. If you are searching for a place of refuge, this is the perfect sanctuary — you are always served exactly what you truly need, even without asking for it.
The story begins with the arrival of Nozomi, the younger sister of Yosuke’s late wife. Yosuke is one of the bakery’s owners, alongside his partner Hiroki. Nozomi seeks shelter after yet another disappearance of her mother. As the story unfolds, a beautiful bond gradually forms between the three of them. Of course, the customers also play an essential role, each bringing their own vulnerabilities and personal struggles, shaping the rhythm and emotional depth of the story.
As with many novels of this genre, I was completely charmed by the story and deeply attached to every character.

j’ai beaucoup aimé le début du livre, assez prenant. Malheureusement énormément de faute soit de traduction ou de frappe je sais pas trop, des phrases qui n’ont pas de sens, le prénom de Sophia écrit Sofia une fois. Même un mot pas écrit entièrement.
Et aussi l’histoire se traîne trop sur la longueur, l’histoire avec les jumelles aurait pu être écourtée et se focaliser sur Hiroki ou Miwako ou autre. Dommage on m’a perdu au fil du livre. En plus le résumé n’est pas représentatif de l’histoire

It's the book I've read in French, I don't know what to think about it, maybe it lost a bit of it's charm in the translation. I was expecting something different more focused around the topic of bakery running at midnight, but the story had barely to do anything with it. Despite that, it was fine, simple story.
