The Cottage

Rich has always had fond memories of his parents' old lake cottage. When they decide to sell it, he invites some old friends to join him and his wife Becky for a weekend of beer and nostalgia. But Rich's plans are upset by the presence of Robby, who is boorish, aggressive, and makes no secret of his lust for Becky.

When Robby badgers Rich into a foolish bet, he learns that his wife is willing to go to any lengths to make sure he pays his debts.

Smut pure and simple...

This is an incredibly hot story of a man, his hot wife, and three guy friends up at the lake house for a weekend. Well written and plotted, Ben Boswell packs a lot into a short story. The husband makes a bet, and the wife discovers her inner self. I'm not sure how many of these stories have a HEA, but [I think] this one does. This marriage is all the stronger for what happened that weekend up at the lake (and perhaps next year as well.) Well done.

I read this story several months ago.
I have to confess I read it from the hubby’s point of view (as the writer wrote it).
Recently. I’ve reread it and looked at it from the wife’s point of view.
I appreciate it a lot more.
I learned by reading several of his books, that Boswell is a master at interpreting Dom/Sub.
He understands it and is a master at it.
I read this the first time before I read 'What's your type' and 'Surrogate Master.'
It well written and it is a lot more exciting if you understand that wife is submissive and hubby hasn’t a clue.
Hubby is unhappy to find himself watching her seduced-dominated.
From her perspective, (thanks to poor communication) that’s what he wants.
She makes a cuckold out of him and that's what she thought he wanted.
This is the kind of mis-communication that's generated by watching the front of Hubby's slacks to get his 'opinion'.

Good book.

Intense

Well this was certainly an intense read. One hand I wasn't sure if liked it or not, but it created a reaction on a deeper level.

This has the same plot outline as Ben Boswell's story "The Big Game" in "Best Hotwife Erotica Volume 4: Games of Chance"--a man makes a bet that promises his wife will have sex with the winner. Each time she's pissed but goes along. The short story worked better for me; Boswell spent more time on the wife's psychology. Here she submits completely to old notions of what it means to be a woman and a slut.

The overall story itself is very effective. I didn't believe that even a woman in perfect shape could have that much sex, especially a first time participant in anal enjoying long hours of that. The first experience, if there's a lot of pounding, leaves you sore for a while. "The Cottage" is enjoyable parts inserted into parts erotica, but not convincing in a way that makes great erotica truly arousing.

An interesting read. Not much character development but lots of raunchy sex for a willing wife. I would have rated this higher if there had been a good discussion between the couple when they got home.

It’s Good As A Short

I guess I found out that I really enjoy the longer stories that have more intricacies. This is a good short story and it’s well tied up in the end.
