Elara Voss arrives at Widow's Point lighthouse with forty-seven dollars, a dead husband's letter, and the naive belief that "unusual atmospheric conditions" means draughts. It does not. It means the lighthouse houses a powerful storm elemental who has been alone for three centuries and reacts to her arrival like a lovesick disaster with boundary issues.
Carus is not a polite haunting. He's eight feet of ancient power wrapped in human form, possessive as a hurricane and twice as intense. Walls lean in when he's watching her. Lightning flares when he's aroused. Storms appear whenever anyone else gets too close. Subtlety has never been part of his skill set—but worship? Devotion? Making her scream his name until the lighthouse shakes? Those he's mastered.
Elara should leave. Instead, she's negotiating workplace etiquette with a supernatural entity who thinks personal space is optional and discovering that the line between haunted and aggressively courted by architecture is vanishingly thin.
A scorching paranormal monster romance with multiple steamy scenes. size difference, possessive immortal hero, sentient infrastructure with enthusiasm problems, electrical play that defies physics, one territorial storm elemental who's waited centuries for his mate, and a widow who came for room and board but stayed for the mind-blowing supernatural devotion.
Standalone with guaranteed HEA. For mature readers only.
I loved this story! I loved the way Carus and Emma have chemistry from the beginning! Even so, they constantly work to create a lasting bond with each other. He's so focused on her, and what she likes. He's also so careful as to not hurt her. Lots of emotions and very spicy!
A quick romantic read that left me feeling very emotionally fulfilled! The Storm entity and the lighthouse keeper, Carus and Emma form a bond that lasts forever.
I actually cried for these two! I highly recommend this "Electrically charged" erotic romancw!
