Characters are so real, situations we face on a daily basis.

I read Leah's books every spare minute. I enjoy the depth of her characters and their daily life. The restrictions imposed on women of the day and the acceptance of certain things make me stop and think how fortunate we are today. This series of books is one I will read again!

More of Wildflower tale

I am loving this series written by Leah Banicki. There’s lots of excitement and adventure in this book # 3 in this great series. You will have a hard time putting the book down and stop turning to the next page to discover what happens to who next. Never a dull moment.

Wonderful story of strong women and their faith.

I love how each characters story is so unique yet they each blend together to make them all feel like family. Angela and Corrine's friendship is indeed as sisters who have both evolved to become independent women, something not seen as much in this era. To become respected in the community after enduring so much is truly a test of faith. I had tears in the ending.. Whatever will happen to Dolly aka Bluebird. I must get the next book soon!!

Interesting stories of the Oregon trail

I have enjoyed this series, as I enjoy American history, and the author obviously did a lot of research when writing these books, to keep them historically accurate.

I made a few grammatical corrections, but not very many. I get frustrated at times while reading these books, as I feel the editing needs to be stepped up a notch.

But I'm going on to Book 4. I enjoy the characters a lot.

I could hardly put this book down! I love books as Ms Banicki writes in this era.

This book about Angela Candy was superb. It was written perfectly by theauthor. I enjoy the biblical references and teaching those characters in the book to love God and to share that love with others, which is surely exhibited in the story. So enjoyable and peaceful to read this series. I have been blessed!

Not bad, has a few weak spots

Not as good as the first in the series, but enjoyable. One thing I don't like us that some things just come up out of the blue. A character that's been in past books all of a sudden doesn't go to town on two days of the week -- never mentioned before. And the reason she doesn't is also just suddenly mentioned, when it should have at least been hinted at. That bothers me, and seems like the book isn't well planned

Disappointed

I have so much enjoyed the journey so far, but this installment bothers me. I wonder if the author really wrote it. I did enjoy it and have already bought the next book, but hopefully it will return to the first books grammar and editing. Too many commas, sentences incorrect..... like someone wanted to act like they couldn't say a correct sentence. 'THE' was omitted so many times that it was almost comical.

Wonderful

The saga continues. So far, have enjoyed every book of this series. It is like living it, one step removed. Love Angela and her determination to be a positive influence in the lives of those around her. The story also shows how hardship affects us, and how it can be used for good. An inspiring read.

Angel And Wishes

Angela life is finally on its way to be the life she has dreamed for. Her house, property and the friends she has surrender herself with.
Though Ted had put many miles between then as he bring everyone he loves together in one place.
Their story is one of patience, kindness, and love.

Women who made a difference.

A Wonderful story about women and the problems that they struggled with in the early days. It was a little difficult to figure out who the characters were and their relationship to each other. It became clear as the story progresses. Angela was a great main character. She was wonderful.

Such a delight

Frankly books that are heavily religious are usually a turnoff for me but our author is so natural and easy with the characters and the beautiful story that I'm enjoying this series immensely.

A lovely continuation of the lives of the ladies in Oregon City. The last half of this book was probably my favorite as Leah begins to open up more potential future events that will continue to shape these characters. I loved seeing the growth that Angela has done in this book!

Still want to read more.

I love her story line. She has good ideas and makes you feel part of the story. Or how glad we don't live in those times. It's still fascinating to imagine though.

Pioneer days

Once you start reading, you're transported back to the 1800's. Lots of action, plenty of drama, and a whole lot about community working together to take care of each other. I'm on to the next book!

wonderfully told frontier story

This is one of the best frontier series I have read. Relationships are representative of the persons that were introduced to us. I appreciate the emphasis onChristian values.

I love this series and am actually reading it a second time. Not sure why I didn’t review it the first time. Highly recommend this series to anyone but you must start withbook 1 if you haven’t already.

Hard to stop reading

I love every book I've read by Leah Banicki! No story is about just one heroine or hero, but pulls you into the lives of each individual person. You feel like you are in the midst of her stories, and they are like real life scenarios rather than pure fiction.

Bluebird

This book is about everyone so for. I don't Luke the abuse given to Galina. Even though that's the way it was and sometimes still is. Reggie is back and has an affection for Bluebird.

DAUGHTERS OF THE VALLEY

The story is good, BUT, I hate it when it finishes with an unfinished ending. Just like watching T.V.! One of the reason to read a book is to have an ending, but not this series. Honestly wish I never started reading, but I want to see what happens in the next book, I know from now on to read the reviews, and all the books in that series summary just to make sure there is no hint of cliff hangers! Please use a proofreader. There are many grammatical errors, punctuation, and incomplete sentences. This is the second book by this author that I read. Both books were filled with these errors. I won't read a third book by her.
