Nick Andrade: Sexy, charming, bad boy. He’s never been a one woman man, but he’s willing to give it a try every Saturday with Rena.

He’s the hot fantasy she’s always craved. She’s the only woman he’d consider reforming for.
When their relationship is exposed and they must defend it, will these two lovers discover that home is in each other’s arms?

Ruth Cardello hit the NYTs and USA Today for the first time back in 2012. Millions of sales are evidence that her books are akin to potato chips, addictive from the first one. She has created a multi-series billionaire world with a combination of escapism and realism that has gained her a faithful following of readers.
What Kindle Reviewers write about her:
"Wow hot at every page. Heart stoping, fear raging, mind blowing wonderful."
"I'm a true fan of Ms. Cardello. I ran on to her first book a few years back and have been hooked ever since. I could go on and on about the story like of this book, but I'm not. All of her books are total page turners, unique, heart wrenching, and I love them all. There isn't two alike in the bunch and I feel like i know the characters personally. I personally read 97 authors books. And I buy every book they put out. This author is in my top 10. Great job and keep them coming."
"Love this series. Got me to start reading again. I look forward to the next book. Thank you for giving me the love of reading back."
Ruth Cardello was born the youngest of 11 children in a small city in northern Rhode Island. She spent her young adult years moving as far away as she could from her large extended family. She lived in Boston, Paris, Orlando, New York--then came full circle and moved back to New England. She now happily lives one town over from the one she was born in. For her, family trumped the warmer weather and international scene.
She was an educator for 20 years, the last 11 as a kindergarten teacher. When her school district began cutting jobs, Ruth turned a serious eye toward her second love- writing and has never been happier. When she's not writing, you can find her chasing her children around her small farm or connecting with her readers online.

Ruth Cardello, is one of my favorite authors, if a book has her name on it, I read it, and she has not disappointed me yet. Home to Me, Book 2 in The Andrades, has been one of my favorites, I loved Nick and Rena. Rena works for Nick's brother Gio, whom we met in Come Away With Me, the first book in the series. Rena, is sexy, confident, intelligent, responsible, caring, and always done what was expected of her. Nick on the other hand is a millionaire playboy, sexy, hot and used to getting what he wants. Although, he has never taken life too serious, he has recently began to look back on his and he is not sure he likes what he is seeing. One particular meeting with Rena, leaves Nick shaken and wanting to get to know her better, and since Nick has always been her secret fantasy, Rena feels the same way. Since, all their friends and family, think that the two of them together, would be a huge mistake, Nick and Rena, must keep their feelings to themselves, so they decide to have a no strings attached sexual relationship, limited to one day a week. Rena feels like this is the only way to keep her heart out of it, but Nick feels like he is a better man because of Rena. This book will make you laugh, cry, and root for Nick, who simply wants answers to questions about his past, and wants his brothers, friends, and Rena to be proud of him. Ruth Cardello's books always draw me in from the first page, and if you haven't read any of her books, you are really missing out. This one was one of my favorites and deserving of more than five stars!!
This book was interesting enough to finish but I didn't care for the characters. In her whole life the heroine never stood up for herself. The hero was constantly fighting with his brothers and everyone's got secrets. The story was the overused sex without commitment plot. Nick and Reno agree to a clandestine sex only on Saturday's relationship because everyone warns them not to date each other.
I have read all of Ruth's books. And when I mean all I mean all. Yes I am a huge fan of her work. But I must admit. Out of all her books This one is my favorite. Nick is my new book boyfriend so I am calling dibs on him first.
Nick....What can I say. He started off as what some might consider a playboy. But he truly fell head over heels for Rena. He ended up working with Gio and learning and truths about his family. I am happy him and Rena finally got together after knowing each other for years. They are the perfect couple.
Rena...What a sweet heart she is. Caring for a family that she group with. Always trying to get the brothers to work out their issue. I can relate to her though. I follow rules and afraid to step out of the box a lot. But when I do oh boy. I am happy she finally got the man she always wanted.
And yes the Legacy group is back. Oh I love them.
I recommend you get this book. Cause up until you read this book you will say to yourself "wow no other book is hotter then this one."
❤️❤️❤️❤️ 💋💋💋 Nick finally finds his reason to settle, devote himself to one woman and a job . And she’s been there from the beginning he just never realised.
The Andrades continue to be a wonderfully, wild family. Nick and Rena's story was great! You have a bad boy, who is a bit spoiled and living a carefree lifestyle. Then you have Rena, who is a sweet, good girl, who always tries to please everyone else. Often foresaking her own happiness in the process. Of course, she's always had a crush on him. A very, sweet gesture at Rena's sixteenth birthday party catapulted Nick from just a friend of her brother to her heart's desire. No one wants to see Rena involved with Nick, especially her boss (and Nick's brother) Gio. It's always fun to see what happens when people are told to stay away from one another. In my reading experience, it is always a green light for fun, sexy secrets. These two had plenty of those. Coffee house. Opera. Hot air balloon. Just let your imagination run wild with those scenarios. There is a lot of family drama continuing on in this book, especially with Patrice, Nick's mother. I am anxious for her to get what's coming to her. That woman is evil. I loved seeing Maddy, as always. She is so much fun and causing mischief, like she does best. Home to Me is full of passion, excitement and heart.
Another incredible addition to the wonderful wild ride of the Andrade family! It amazes me how the author keeps all these stories fresh and unique but she definitely does. The characters are amazing and as more and more of the family comes back to the fold it can only get crazier!
This is the story of Nick Andrade. The wild, out of control son of Gio Sr. and Patrice. After attending his cousins wedding he has come to realize there should be more to his life and is trying to change is wild ways. Rena, long time family friend has always been warned to stay away from Nick but there is something intense and unexplainable that draws her to him.
If you are a lover of great romance reads, this book and entire series is one you don't want to miss. I highly recommend it.
Outwardly appearances - it can be a true picture or a facade. The way one treats others and lives life is the TRUE character.
Home to Me is Nick & Rena's story, what a wonderful story it is!! You can't help but fall in love with Nick -ah sooooo dreamy. The Andrade family especially those HOT Andrade brothers come out to play. That mother though I have a few choice words for her! Can't wait for more info on her.
This book has it ALL - heat, friendship, suspense, family, humor and love! I enjoyed and devoured this book - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I listened to this book and I felt it wasn't as good as the 1st story. It dragged a bit and Nick taking up for his mother and not listening to Gio didn't make sense. They weren't that close in the 1st book for him to get that upset. Then he didn't care about her later in the story. By the end he wanted nothing to do with her. He also didn't want to be in a serious relationship with Rena and when she gave him what he wanted he was hurt. To wishy washy for me. It was an ok story.
If you liked the first book in this series than hold onto your hat you are gonna love this one. It's a great read and continues on with this wonderful family Ruth has created for us. I absolutely adored this book and can't wait for the next in this series
I'd forgotten what great pleasure I get from reading this series. It's so totally engrossing, you feel like a part of the family. It has a little bit of everything. It keeps you emotionally connected thorough out. Can't wait to start reading the next one. Definitely recommending
Wonderfully written, I didn't want to put it down ... Made me mad, happy, laugh and tear up a lil... Although its the 2nd in the series its the 1st I've read and am looking forward to the rest, in the series and by the author!
Nick Andrade: Whew, a very sexy rich bad boy. He's not a one woman man by any means, but he is willing to give it a try on Saturdays that is with Rena Sanders that is. He is ready to grow up, take his office at the family company Cogent he never goes into and be responsible. He does want the wife and kids one day. He doesn't know when that will be. But he is willing to stat with the one day a week and be with one woman! But as things go and they are threatened to be exposed as they were keeping it a secret, he will do anything to keep her protected. It is then he realizes just how much he has really grown up!
Rena Sanders: Confident, loving and a sweet caring person to any person. She has know the Andrade family her whole life and has had a school girl crush on Nick since her 16th birthday when he sent her one request for her birthday which was a slip and slide to her party! Her parents insisted on just the formal affair!! Nick sent the slip and slide on his own and had it delivered, and then showed up after the delivery coming from college just in time to see her parents 'glare' at him, and then left the party. He even had changing tents sent for the kids. But Rena stayed inside and never did enjoy the greatest gift of that BD.
At any rate, back to present time she plays by the rules and never having been in love before she thinks if she keeps sex contained to one day with Nick it will protect her heart. Nick finally realizes he has grown up when he has to protect the woman he loves at all cost.
Ruth Cardello, pulls into her novels at the first page in my opinion and her books are page turners. It will be hard to wait until paid day to buy books 3, 4, 5!!! I just love the Andrades! We met them in the Legacy series from the first book Maid for the Billionaire.
This book is Home To Me, book 2 in The Andrades series, written by Ruth Cardello. I have enjoyed each and every book in these two connected series so far! Great stories and loveable characters with normal human flaws. Don’t miss this series!!
Home To Me is a beautiful example of Ruth's writing capabilities. Nick is a player. He lives to party. He's hot and women flock to him. All women...except the one he wants and shouldn't. Rena is Gio's assistant so she's not new to us. She deals with Gio's foul moods and bossiness on a day to day basis. She has also been a family friend of the Andrade's for years. And she harbors a big secret. A massive crush on her "friend", Nick.
Nick and Rena can't fight their attraction for each other. Both enter a no-strings attached sexual relationship on Saturdays. They hide it from their families and friends because everyone insists that Nick and Rena are all wrong for each other.
Rena realizes she has growing feelings for Nick and tries her hardest to push him away. She knows that she will get burned when Nick moves on to his next conquest.
But, does Nick want to move on? You see a softer, loving side of Nick Andrade in Home To Me. Nick finally grows up from the bad boy to the good man.
Nick and Rena smoke up the sheets - or the curtains or the walls - whatever. This book will smoke up your e-reader. It is heartwarming and fun to read their story. Another 5***** review for Ruth Cardello!
Loved this book! Loved the connection between Rena and Nick from the very beginning. With Rena having grown up knowing Nick and his partying ways, she only expects that type of behavior from him. We know from book one in this series that the Andrade men have serious issues with relationships and commitment. Nick is no exception until he realizes just what Rena means to him.
This is a great story of one character growing up and realizing what he needs to do in life. We get to see Nick go from the playboy living off of his trust fund to a shrewd business man in love with his soul mate. It is also the story of one character who has spent her life pleasing others instead of living for herself. As Rena pursues her interest in Nick, we get to see her begin to open up to doing things for herself and her pleasure instead of the safe route that others approve of. This coming of age story is a pleasure to read.
Enjoy the ups and downs of the Andrade family in this book. Ruth Cardello gives us a great read with one very hot and sexy couple. Five big stars for this one.
Side note: I have had the pleasure of meeting Ruth Cardello and she is not only a great author but an awesome person too!
I enjoyed the first book with Gio and Juliet and figured the story could grow well. I saw the start of the book and believed that this book could be as good as the last, but I was mistaken. The matriarch of the family still stirred the drama pot and nothing of substance happened. That is.... between the sex scenes. The writing got a little rougher and character development seemed to stop.
When a book is really good, I read it in one sitting. The previous book took me a day to read it. With this being the series and book, it took me days to read it. The reason is simple.... Too many characters and not enough focus on them. While the sex is hot.... there was not much of a story being told. The web of drama spun by Patrice is a constant and I can only hope there is an ending to it. The running story of who is the best matchmaker is not all that intriguing.
While I would usually stop reading a series after the second book not meeting my expectations, I am invested enough to see it through. Hopefully, the next book redeems the series. 3-stars....
Ruth did it again! A great job with Book Two in the Andrade Series!
Nobody in Rena Sanders’ family or Nick Andrade’s family think they belong together. Everybody involved doesn’t mind letting Rena and Nick know this every time they get a chance. So Nick and Rena agree to see each other in secret just for fun. Little do they know that “just for fun” can become something more in a very short period of time. Home To Me is the story of Nick and Rena finding their way to each other.
There is more going on with the Andrade’s family between Nick and his brothers, Gio, Luke and Max. They have never gotten along and never trusted each other. In this story they finally learn to trust each other and start repairing their relationships. They realize their mother has been behind all the mistrust and heartache in the family. There have been secrets and lies and this is the beginning of healing in the family.
I felt a little lost when I started the book. I guess reading the first one would of helped. Since I read this as a standalone, the family drama seemed a bit much and again I was lost as to what was really happening. I enjoyed the romance, it was sexy and fun. The realization that Nick loved Rena was a bit cheesy but i liked their banter and their friendship. If you were interested in reading this, read the first one first. These are not standalone stories.
Whoa, this book was hotter than I expected. I enjoyed this story, and I've officially fallen in love with the Andrades. Really looking forward to Luke's, because I'm always a sucker for those MDs. ;)
Hot contemporary romance with a little darkness for family plotting. Good read, but maybe you should start with the first book in the series, although this is a stand alone book.
Ok… so although this book is book two in The Andrades series… it’s more like book 8 because if you haven’t already… I strongly suggest that you read The Legacy Collection before you embark on this journey because most of the subsidiary characters in this series have all been introduced in The Legacy Collection and it’s all part of a much bigger story. You will get to meet loads of amazing alphas and strong, sassy women and this series will definitely make more sense if you start there.
Well, we met Nick in book 1 and I have to say, I wasn’t sure about him at first. He seemed very arrogant and quite frankly… rude. And admittedly, at the beginning of this book, he still comes across the same way, but there’s one person in the world that helps him become the man he wants to be. Rena!
The problem is, Rena works as his brother, Gio’s personal assistant and let’s just say… Gio and Nick do not get on. There’s a lot of family tension between the Andrade brothers… but ever since Gio has met the love of his life, Julia, he’s realised just how important family is. Now, he’s determined to help his brothers put aside their differences and become closer again - like they were before their father died.
However, secrets and lies, mostly due to their bitter and manipulative mother has driven a wedge between the brothers - a wedge that for some reason their mother, Patrice is only too happy to perpetuate.
When Nick starts to get closer to Rena, and quit his drinking and playboy lifestyle he discovers that he no longer wants to be the person everyone expects him to be. He can be so much more and he wants to prove that to everyone but especially to Rena and Gio.
Taking the position offered as Co-owner of their family company - Nick starts to feel like he’s making a contribution but still people doubt his motives… and when tensions grow he turns to the one person who has always believed in him.
Unfortunately, Rena is already being warned not to have anything to do with Nick. And likewise Nick has been threatened to stay away from Rena by both Gio and Kane, Rena’s brother and Gio’s best friend. But the pull between the is too strong. So hiding their relationship from everyone at the company, they agree to only see each other on a Saturday.
Their one day a week liaison starts getting more and more intense but Rena can’t stop the feeling that Nick doesn’t want the same things as she does so refuses to let herself believe that their romance is anything more than a wild affair and that he will soon lose interest.
The thing is though, she couldn’t be further from the truth and when Nick realises that he wants more than just one day a week he now has to convince all the doubters that he’s serious about Rena. More serious about her than he’s ever been about anything or anyone.
Will she believe him? Will she allow herself to love the man who had always played the field? Could she trust him with her heart? Was the love she felt for him worth risking a broken heart?
By the end of the book, I absolutelyfellon love with Nick. He’s a changed man and a better man, because Rena has made him that.
I can’t wait to keep reading this series and the more information we are given about Patrice’s on going feud with her brothers-in-law and all the Andrade family, the more intrigued I get. What is the secret she’s keeping and why? What doesn’t she want her boys to know.
Nick Andrade and Rena Sander have known each other forever. They are like brother and sister to Nick and his three other brothers. When and why did it all change? The Andrade’s are very wealthy and their company, Cogent, is very successful, but all isn’t harmonious with the family. Gio, the oldest of the four brothers is the CEO of the company and doesn’t delegate responsibility very well. This has never bothered Nick as he spent his time traveling around the world; a playboy just enjoying life. Nich is now almost thirty and wants to slow down and do something constructive with his life. Something he could be proud of. Something Rena would be proud of. His other brothers are successful at what they do, despite the family pressures. The Andrade family is a testament that a rich and successful family isn’t necessarily a happy one.
The premise isn’t unique, the character development isn’t exceptional, but the erotic scenes are unforgettable. The literary aspects of this story are not remarkable but the entertainment value is off the charts. This is a story filled with sexual fantasies. Call me old-fashioned, but the crude language used, doesn’t really do anything for me. I’m sure many may disagree with me. For those that do, I think this is a book for you. For you that agree with me, this may also be a story you may appreciate and you can consider yourself, forewarned.
I first read a fair few of this authors books through my library many years ago but all my reviews posted from then are no longer available. Finding this author has joined Kindle Unlimited, I am treating myself to a reread. Nick and Rena just didn’t work for me. We get more interaction from the cold excuse of a Mother these boys have. Nick has been manipulated and isolated emotionally from his brothers due to his mother’s lies. This has caused him to have a drinking problem and also stopped him being a part of the family business. Rena was a weak heroine for me, she has no reason to be emotionally stunted but is. She is part of the Andrade work family and is a peace maker, always soothing troubled waters between the brothers. Nick the playboy has been warned off pursuing Rena, which of course makes her chaseable. But Rena has had a crush on Nick, so proposes a once a week sex scheme to control her emotional involvement. Nick and Rena’s sex agreement, I just didn’t understand. Of course this ends up changing to something more but threats are also made and secrets are starting to unravel. Read in the box set through Kindle Unlimited.
This was another excellent book in the series. Nick is the family playboy. He's not serious about anything and doesn't get along with his brothers. He's older brother, Gio, sees him as an immature player. Rena, Gio's secretary, is a long-time friend of the family and has always been a good girl, doing what her parents expect. Nick and Rena are attracted to each other but everyone tells them not to get involved.
I think the fact that everyone was against them was a little over the top. It seemed like everyone thought Nick was a complete douche bag. But, if that's the case, why would Rena like him? She agrees to get involved for sex only but leading up to that was a little slow.
Overall, it's a sweet steamy story and I wanted them to be happy. I wish more would have been revealed about the mother's motivation and I'm hoping that comes out more in the next book. And Maddy, really? If she were my friend/cousin I think I'd have to smack her.
