A ride from a stranger turns into a lucky event as Keegan heads to Sedona to find out why Lizzy sent him there. In an Internet café, Keegan uncovers more bizarre facts about his strange new home of Sedonia Falls that suddenly puts the safety of Lizzy and his father into question.
During his trek back to rescue them, a dark walk through the desert reveals a scary incident with Simon James and a busload of unwilling travelers. His worry increases when Lizzy is missing and no one at school seems willing to help him.
The clues start to add up, and Keegan can no longer blame his memory or a runaway imagination for what he’s beginning to suspect. But, the biggest revelation comes when Lizzy lures Keegan to a safe place to reveal the truth about what is really happening in this creepy little town.
BORN JUST outside of Gunnison, Colorado in a government research facility called Area 52.5, (truth be told, Mom, a government astrophysicist, was in her last trimester at Area 51 when she was abruptly transferred), Jax Spenser spent his early years wondering if Dad was the meek and mild-mannered man living at home or if he really existed in the distant twinkle of a far off alien’s gaze.
AFTER AN AWAKENING during his teen years (some would call it puberty packing a lead pipe), Jax spent the rest of his life filled with the absolute belief that not only was the truth out there but that his real father looked proudly down on him in hopes that his baby boy Jax would one day find his way back to whatever distant corner of the Universe Pops beamed in from. Until that day, Jax has dedicated his time to writing possible scenarios in which the two might one day meet again.
This is there fourth episode I've read and each one only badges there be more questions than before. No answers. Just suspense. I like some suspense but I also like to feel like the plot is moving along. I'm not sure yet. The final episode would have to be something really great to get a better than a three and that is being nice.
Another fun book. Now we are starting to learn what is really going on in Keegan's little town. It is exciting and horrifying at the same time. The perfect setup for book 5.
